The hotel is perfect. Located on the first line of the beach. There is really nice swimming pool. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff is super kind and helpful. Thanks for the nice holiday.

Zadar is a nice location. Two pools, some potential activities offered. Food was ok.

Way too expensive for the offered quality. Staff at reception (during the welcome) was rather unfriendly and not supportive. The rooms are old, dirty and badly soundproofed. Moskitos in the room (and many dead on the walls). Music was so loud that our little was not able to sleep until 10 PM. The whole place was crowded - way to many people for the place. If you pay >400 EUR per night, you expect something totally different (even if booked on short notice)!!

The staff were so friendly, the food was really good, the entertainment and kiddies club was super.. We were happy with our accommodation. Tomislav was a great entertainer. The spa was spectacular and the girls were so professional. I was very impressed.. Bar manager outside bar was helpful and good at his job.. We would definitely recommend this hotel

I would have liked to see a sandwich maybe on the menu for lunch.. Staff need to have a word with people in the corridors meeting up early for tours and chatting while we were trying to sleep.. They should chat at reception not in bedroom corridors. Inconsiderate and off putting..

facility was in an excellent location on the sea, we had the breakfast include in our stay which was very good. We did not use the beach because we were staying in the early part of the season.

The rooms were very comfortable and spacious. The food was varied and tasty. We enjoyed a complimentary hour in the hotel spa area. The mini golf was fun too.

You have to pay to sit on the hotel sunbeds on the beach.

Rooms are good and clean. The food is excellent, big offer of meat and fish meal. The pool is clean. Special benefit for kids is indoor pool for the time when it was raining. The beach is great, you can always find place in the shadow. The Wifi in the room was really strong:)

all was good, but it would be perfect is the balcony have someting to hang your wet swimsuits.

Good value for money! Location of the hotel is superb - on a small peninsula with the sea on 3 sides. Good quality food for breakfast and dinner. Variety of choices for both meat eaters and vegetarians. Nice territory with plenty of sport amenities (tennis, volleyball, golf) and lots of shade from the beautiful pine trees. Variety of water activities rentals: kayaks, pedal boats, jet, etc. Outdoor and indoor pools, SPA zone and massage therapy available. Live music every night. Several bars with decent cocktails. We had a great time there!

This is a 4 star hotel which we consider a high class one. So 2 things which we we found being out of place and a kinda inappropriate for the hotel of this class: 1) For the HB Dinner (which is included in the room rate) the hotel charges for the water. The same tap water which is available for free during the breakfast is not allowed to be taken during the dinner. I understand if a guest would like a beverage, a beer or a glass of wine - it is ok to buy it for the dinner. But charge for the water?! Seriously? Selling to the guests a 27 kunas / bottle of water for every dinner doesn't seem to make a huge revenue for the hotel, but leaves a bad taste for the guests. The one they complain a loot in the reviews. 2) It's being written a lot in the previous reviews already but I still found it's weird that the Pinija hotel is charging for the sun beds on the beach for the hotel guests (45 kunas / day, even if you want fee hours you shall pay for the whole day). Dear hotel management (if you read this), you might think this is an additional revenue stream for you, but it is in reality the biggest dissatisfaction factor among your guests. Please consider the way to make sun beds on the hotel's beach free for the guests (a wrist band, a room card, etc.) and continue charging non-guests for them. This way you would make more friends and return business.

Very nice and clean hotel, good equipment, great food! The sea and beach are beautiful, clear water, good for diving. Personal of the hotel - chambermaids, animators and receptionists were so profesional, kind and helpful, good knowledge of many languages, even Arabic.

Sunbeds on the beach are not in the price for the hotel guests.

Pool excellent breakfast good location excellent.

Air conditioning in room was faulty and we were only moved after two nights. We should have been moved on the first night. The pillows are lumpy and as poor as you can get.

Nice rooms and bathroom, the bed was comfortable.

The children animation was nothing special, nice songs, but too much cartoons.

If you want to play volleyball and mini golf etc .out of the animation schedule they charge $10 per hour to use amenities

The beach is impeccable! Its not crowded at all, but bear in mind that we stayed in hotel the second part of the August. A lot of natural shade, beautiful water, nice and tidy beachfront & loungers charged at acceptable price (45kn/day). We we're completely in love from day one and spent pretty much all of our days at the beach. Beach has 2 golf courses (mini golf and golf, which is also mini so I didn't really understand the difference) and sand volleyball. There is also a waterpark and a place to rent out kayaks so enjoy your time there fully. Rooms are okay (pretty small, but that's what you usually get in hotels) but the cleaning ladies are great and on point. We didn't miss a thing regarding toiletries hotel provides with.

From my (travel and working in the hospitality) experience - this is not a real 4star hotel. First and foremost, during the dinnertime staff is overly "aggressive" with taking the cutlery and dishes away from the table. We literally had to guard the cutlery if we went for refill - although we would never leave the table unattended by some of our family members, so I don't think we were sending the signals that we were done with dinner. Also, the food is mediocre - meat (veal & beef) had chunks 2 consecutive days so we gave up from that option for dinner, and most of the food is greasy and/or tasteless. Selection is okay, but nothing to impress here. We were in the Premium room with balcony, but the balcony is too narrow to actually spend time on it, so mostly used it to dry our towels and bathing suits. The pictures available on the hotel pages and here are taken with wide camera, so don't get yourself fooled :) Also, I don't understand why was the mini bar empty and never offered a drink or a snack? Basically, hotel mostly fails on the "experience" part - obvious nervousness on the reception between employees in front of the guests, cancelation of activities for kids because of rain (there were 3 drops of rain that lasted 4 minutes), waiting in the beach bar for 20 minutes to be acknowledged and another 20 to be served (only 3 tables were occupied at that point) and general feeling that it's own employees don't want to be there. Such a shame for a potential that this area brings.

We loved the activities for children, the kindness of the staff that cleaned our room, the location of the hotel. A turtle mascot named Pini which our little children adored and followed around every day.

Breakfast and dinner were not prepared well. The amount of different types of food was great and ingredients used were also of the higher standard, but sadly it was not prepared well, so we ate the same thing mostly the entire week, things that didn't require skill to prepare like fried meet or cold dishes and fruit. The air conditioning in our room was hardly working, an old device which probably requires maintenance if not replacement altogether.

The location is fantastic. The hotel saff and programs for the kids are also great. You should not even leave the hotel if you want to have an excellent holiday.

The room was pretty small without sea view, but we could live with that. The problem was that the extra bed for the kid was pretty small.

It was not made clear to us how much of a family hotel it was. We were with our 20 year old daughter and her boyfriend and would never stay again. There were literally children everywhere 🙈 it was not at all relaxing. I thought it was disgusting how you have to pay for a sun lounger by the pool….never experienced that in a hotel before!
