Hotel overall was pretty good The breakfast was okay My husband love the grits My granddaughter love the waffles and the bacon was crispy. Only one problem we saw a roach but other than that this is a great hotel

We had a great experience overall. Hotel looks like it was recently remodeled with nice large rooms and very clean inside and out. Centrally located with shops and restaurants very close by.
The only down side to our stay is that we had a room ovelooking the courtyard and pool which looked great. But they booked a party in the courtyard and had loud music with a DJ until 9:30 at night. We couldn't even here the TV in our room. We finally had to call the front desk to complain because we could not sleep with the loud noise of music and loud talking from people at the party. Half an hour after we spoke to the front desk the music was turned off but the loud talking of the party goers kept going.

Not for us
Check in took over 30 minutes. One person on for lots of people waiting to check in. Room was very outdated. Lots of bugs in room. The walls not well insulated and could hear noise on all sides. Pool was very cloudy and filled with bugs. No towels at the pool site for guests. We actually left a day early because of the conditions. On the positive side a great location near lots of restaurants and shopping.

Spacious room, clean and quiet.
No complaints about the room at all. Very comfortable and clean. Check in smooth. Wanted to be in historic downtown area, but this was a fraction of the cost and Ubers/ Lyft drivers were readily available.

Wonderful Property
Very nice rooms, clean and well decorated. I LOVED the beds! Great location and easy access to all the equestrian centers. Only downfall is you can hear traffic really well. So just bring a loud fan with you. But we will definitely stay again!

Ocala hotel
Was a great place to stay but the floors were dirty and several nights we had people talking loud outside our room. Called the front desk and they were the only one working. So they could not do any thing. Needs nighttime security!

Beautiful accommodations
The room was clean and beautifully updated. The staff very friendly. It was unfortunately noisy. There was a lot of parking lot traffic and people walking past the room, hardly slept.

Truncated stay
The pool was shut down. They said the pump was broken. We had maid service two days and then no towels, beds not made. Clever horse culture design throughout hotel. Moved out a day early and paid for a second hotel.

Clean beautiful room
This place was very nice. Front desk ladies were pleasant and funny. Stayed with my 2 best friends for 1 night on our way to St. Pete's. I would definitely like ty stay here another time when I can stay longer!

Employees very accommodating and friendly . Pool and elevator non functional. Too many cigarettes butts in parking lot in front of room. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast as advertised.

Equas Inn Ocala, Fla
Absolutely sparkling clean room, comfortable beds, decor was gorgeous and modern with a beautiful glass shower and huge shower head. The mural on the wall of old time horse racing is a great tribute to the history of raising horses in the Ocala area. We had trouble with the tv and a very polite young man from maintainance came to fix it for us. A real hidden gem. Looks so ordinary on the outside, but rooms are stunning. Also had a beautiful pool, breakfast area, and our room had a fridge, microwave, and lockbox/safe. Thanks for the great time!

Very nice stay
There were a few hiccups during my stay. They did not have my reservation and they were doing maintenance work over my room until midnight one night. Even though there were issues, they did take care of them and Daisy was especially nice. We enjoyed her very much. There was also a young man one evening that was very helpful but we didn’t get his name. The maintenance issue was made more stressful than needed because the night desk people did not know what was going on or how long it would last and told us they didn’t have any way to find out. Over all, I think this hotel will be a great place to stay once all the renovations are completed. The staff was very nice and helpful and the rooms were very comfortable. I would stay there again.

Cute Hotel
The hotel was really nice. The only complaint that I have is that they had constriction going on at all hours of the night. They moved our room which was nice, but it was a small inconvenience.

WEC alternate housing
Newly renovated and still working on finalizing and freshening up the final cleaning and punch details, but the property looks and feels safe, clean, and pretty. Great place to stay if visiting Ocala for a few days.

Cute, updated boutique hotel
We stayed for 6 nights. The room was large and nicely updated. Yiyi cleaned and supplied our room. She was great and allowed us time to take our small dog out while she worked. My only complaint was the listing stated the pool and outdoor area was to be completed 5/4. We stayed a week after that and the area wasn't completed and the pool wasn't open. It looks like it will be beautiful when completed. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place if you need to stay in central/ south Ocala.

Clean and affordable
This hotel was a plwasant surprise, they have done a great job of remodeling the rooms and keeping them clean. You can see the work that is ongoing to improve the courtyard and pool area. I recommend this property to anyone looking for an affordable and centrally located place to stay in Ocala.

Overnight stay
Just passing through. The proof is under renovation so the outside is nothing to look at but the room was like entering another world. New FF&E, clean, comfy beds, great shower, big towels. I’d be interested in seeing the finished product. Staff was pleasant and helpful

This is a motel, they are updating it and trying to make it appealing but let’s be honest it’s a Motel 6 with a prom dress on.

We enjoyed our stay at Equus Inn. The staff was friendly and responsive.
The renovations at the facility are very positive and will make the property very pleasing when they are complete. As it is at this time, there is sawing, drilling, hammering and the sound of construction workers talking to each other that is disturbing. Since we were away most of the daytime the conditions were tolerable unless the construction persisted into the evening -which didn’t happen often. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Most staff was friendly and accommodating, especially Jim, Carman and Jeanette.

Did not get to stay
VRBO booked our room but when we arrived, there was no room. Facility stated they had been booked for several days. Still waiting to get my money back.

The toilet leaked and there were big stains on the carpet. The location was perfect, checking in and out was a breeze beds were comfortable
