Ocean view and no people around.
To ban smoking at the balcony. You are sitting, enjoying the fresh air and the view and someone comes out to smoke.

Great location, friendly staff, comfortable and cozy place to stay. Everything we needed for a perfect stay!

Room was in need lots of repair. Toilet seat was broken. Tv connection was very poor. Room advertised large double but it was just a standard double

Location within walking distance of the main street so access to restaurants, shops and cafes very easy. The view was awesome watching the sea, amazing full moon rise and rainbow. Room was compact and had everything you need in a motel.

Great location and view from the room. Second visit and the last.
Although the location and view are great, it's time for the rooms to be renovated. The bathroom requires a complete overhaul in order to justify the price charged. It took me 15 minutes to adjust the hot water in the bathtub, as it kept alternating between being too hot and too cold. Taps in bathtub are leaking. Additionally, the mattress was soft and looked like it hadn't been changed in a while. Unfortunately, the lady at the reception wasn't very friendly and seemed tired of her job, no smile, which made us feel unwelcome. On check out they haven't even asked us how was our stay.

Good position in the town
It looked a little tired and some of the equipment needed renewing such as the bath. Hand basin was not in the bathroom as the bathroom was very small.

The location is perfect - park the car and walk everywhere. Right opposite main beach. Room very clean and comfortable.

Great location in the heart of Lorne, and the view over Lorne Beach topped it off. We really enjoyed our stay.
Unfortunately the TV reception was not great, and only has a small bar fridge. But these were only minor irritations.

Central location, just across the beach and on the main road where shops and restaurants are
Flaky/weak wi-fi; bring a book bc tv reception is just as bad; hand basin doubles as sink and vanity basin; shower water mixer is not easy to mix and every now and then hot water cuts out, it is frustrating really. Bathroom/toilet is small and quite tight even for a small person like myself. Our room is old and bed is uncomfortable. My son's studio room is nice, bathroom is spacious and so much better.

*bathrooms were disgusting, little to no ventilation with horrible grimy tiles and grout. The shower was noisy, extremely loud high pitched noise when using it. Clearly huge plumbing issues that are being ignored.
*They didn't leave us enough toilet roll, soap and other items even though they were closed for Christmas day, it makes no sense.
*Lack of lighting (one light in the apartment)
*Why didn't you leave us our own religious book or ask us our preference instead of forcing the bible on us? Come on guys, it's time to move into the 21st century.
*No telephone to call reception
*No cable television, still living in the 90s with their DVD player
*Disgusting marks on the carpet
*Dead flies under the bed
