Due to the circumstances I cannot identify anything about this property that is acceptable. I strongly recommend against booking this property.

Due to the circumstances I will keep this review very factual but given the situation I experienced, and given the comparable amount of accommodation around Noosa Heads, I strongly recommend not booking this accommodation and finding alternative accommodation. I booked this property as a last minute deal, non refundable. I paid $2156.61 for a two bed apartment, deluxe view. The day before I arrived, I received a phone call from Maison Noosa advising they could not honour the deluxe view and offered a pool view. They gave two explanations for the change - one, maintenance issues and two, water issues. They said I would be offered a refund of the difference. I asked them to tell me the refund amount - the young woman put me on hold for several minutes and came back and said $469.62. The other option was they offered to refund in full (despite it being non refundable) but I would have to find alternative accommodation. With 24 hours to go before I arrived, the best option seemed to proceed. I asked for email confirmation of the change in room and refund which never arrived. When I arrived I asked about the email confirmation and the refund. I was told the manager was travelling and he had to authorise the refund. I was mildly concerned that the refund would only arrive on the day I left but I decided to let it go. The front desk staff did offer to email the manager directly and I said I wanted that to happen. Also, when I saw my “pool view” room it had no view at all, looked directly out onto a path with the pool down the path and around a small bend. So the difference between a deluxe view and pool view is high. On the second day I again asked about the email confirmation and the refund. Same message as day 1 - but on that day the ‘push back’ on the amount to be refunded started in earnest - there were comments made by one of the front desk staff about the refund being “probably less than I was told”.

Location was excellent, view was great, and the facilities were excellent. The room had everything we needed and was clean and modern

The location is perfect. The pool and hot tub are amazing. The access to the beach is brilliant. Shops and the world best cafes are right next door.

The bed was a little hot.
