Fantastic location. The rooms were great we had the Morrocan suite and Music room and both were extremely good value for money. The hosts and staff were friendly and very helpful. The food was excellent. Combined with the activities made it a very memorable stay!

Nice location, close to the barrancos de Gebas. Friendly and helpful staff Tom and especially Nina. Good food - breakfast, lunch menu and a la carte diner.

The pool and garden were closed, what a pity with the very nice weather we had during our stay.

this is a really lovely family run hotel in a beautiful rural location. the rooms are very comfortable with interesting decor and amazing views across the valley. the outside areas are comfortable and the pool area looks great but it was closed during our visit as we were early in the season. it’s a good location for the national park and even has some good walks that start opposite the hotel. a big highlight is the food. we had dinner twice and it was really excellent, so delicious and they have a good wine list. we loved it here very much

This place is splendid on every level. The location is ideal for hiking in the Sierra and the barrancos, for other activities, or just chilling in the garden. The hosts are delightful, very knowledgeable about the area, and create a very relaxed atmosphere. The room was cosy with great heating, the mini fridge handy for picnic supplies. The dinner I had was beautifully prepared and presented. I hope to be back sometime.

Lucy is the star of the show!

Tom and Lucy were really welcoming. We went for my mum's 80th birthday and they made it feel very special for her. I would definitely recommend La Mariposa.

Excellent value for money, very friendly and accommodating staff who pulled out all the stops to cater for 3 of us who are vegan (just let them know before hand if you are) - incredible, fresh and delicious food that exceeded all expectations. Lovely atmosphere too, would definitely stay there again!

The room was clean, the food was delicious & homemade, the staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic atmosphere, relaxed and relaxing. What more could you want? Can't wait to return.

In need of a bit of tlc, as a bit tired looking. But very pleasant. Too many wasps by pool. But can't do much about the wildlife! Maybe offer a snack menu at lunchtime as not everyone wants menu del dia.
