it is well located in Esquel

a very tired hotel with threadbare carpets, worn furnishings, old fixtures, indifferent staff the breakfast was terrible and they had no record of our room stay, tried to say we weren’t staying there. Our room was expensive for the tiny size and bad furniture but was supposed to include breakfast. The meager offerings included nothing fresh, canned fruit, and they charge extra for prepared eggs. No eggs are provided in the $153 room charge. Our toilet ran on, the bathroom is so small that it is impossible to open the door when someone is inside. I would NEVER stay at this place again. To make matters worse, they charged for parking my motorcycle, in a terrible unsecured gravel lot a half block away. Just no on this sad hotel. There is no restaurant despite the listing claim. probably for the better.

No-frills hotel, but with recently renovated rooms (I'd stayed there in 2018 before the renovations). We weren't expecting much, and were pleasantly surprised. Comfortable beds, nice bedding, good-sized desk for my computer, separate desk area with an easy chair, lots of storage space including drawers (easiest way to keep small things tidy), large thick towels, fridge and hospitality tray, convenient central location, car park close by (separate fee but very reasonable). All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Good views of the mountains from the large third-floor breakfast room and bar. Several restaurants nearby.

The carpets in the corridors look tired and could do with an upgrade. Breakfast, while abundant, is mostly pastries. Freshly squeezed orange juice and fruit or fruit salad (it was tinned fruit cocktail with a little fresh fruit added would be great, as well as eggs.

Hotel location is good.

The bed is really comfortable and the view from the breakfast room is gorgeous. The bathroom is spacious. The location is central in Esquel, close to bars and restaurants.

The first room we were in was really noisy from a construction site next door (thankfully we were offered another room after the first night). Wi-Fi doesn't work (or at best very poorly) in the rooms. If you want strong signal, head to reception or the breakfast room. The check-in was a bit lengthy but check-out was even worse. The payment process had to be done in 2 payments and we were overcharged. The reimbursement ended up working out in cash. I think it has a lot to do with reception being staffed by one person, while a hotel this size clearly needs two.
