Rooms are absolutely beautiful and furnished with everything you could possibly need. Ideal if you're staying in town for a while! Complimentary breakfast in the morning has lots of options for all dietary needs, and the bar has a great selection too.
It is a little challenging and confusing to have an establishment with such modern facilities that doesn't support contactless payment in a post-covid world. Would love to see the technology updates that the bar has extend to the front desk.

I like that the location was quiet.
-I room felt dirty.
-bedroom door wasn’t working properly
-bathtub caulk peeling off
-bathroom wall paper peeling off.
-two -three towels and wash cloths.
-they was short for two days at least.We had to use pool towel to wash up smh.
-front desk staff was ok,Some days smiling other days not.
-they were doing interviews.

I was expecting a bit more services. We reserved it for four adults and the Couch which was a convertible bed was absolutely uncomfortable. Requested for extra pillow for two adults, and they did not have them and instead we were provided with some back cushions. No other amenities provided in the bathroom. The Shampoo/body wash was very ordinary.
To make it more Marriott standard which to me was not!

The staff was courteous.
The expectation of a comfortable night was not met. We had three children who were tired. We had to wait in the lobby for one hour for our rooms to be ready. The swimming pool was closed, the toilet in one of our rooms backed-up and would not flush and the bathroom in one of our rooms was not well cleaned and had hair in the sink drain.

The hotel room itself was nice. It had a very comfortable king bed and an equally comfortable pull out sofa bed. Perfect for a small family of 4. However, late night staff wasn't very helpful when trying to figure out issues, the hotel refused to take my card, there wasn't very many options for breakfast and the pool was closed for some reason, so they were sending people who wanted to swim to another hotel. The price on booking also didn't reflect the actual price once we were there. Not sure this hotel is worth almost $500 for 2 nights due to those issues we had.

When I made the reservation I booked a room with a court yard view. Well as it turns out I did not get a court yard view also after looking into to why I did not get that I was told they do not even have a court yard, They have a patio no court yard. Our court yard view was the back yards of the neighbors yard.

The location was near where I needed to be.
There was an extra nights charge on my bill. Had to make two attempts to get it cleared. The room has been updated very poorly. Looks like they found the cheapest workers around to actually update the rooms.

The breakfast was fantastic!
Mobile key was useless even though it was supposed to prevent going to desk, we had to anyway to get real keys and pay $40 for incidentals. Had to switch rooms twice due to broken sink then hair in bed. Many fixtures in room poorly installed. Bed was not comfortable.

I liked the space and the staff was polite. The breakfast area was clean.
If you really want to improve your guest's stay, there's a couple of little things that you could do. For example, I would have 2 waffle machines instead of one. Most of the places we vacation at understand that the waffle machine is popular, and having 2 in service makes the line go faster. When a guest checks in with 6 guests , there should be a minimum of 6 towels, six pillows, and blankets to accommodate. The showers should be cleaned, and dry mucus should be removed. The dirty tissues and build of dust should be picked up and wiped. A sofa bed should be opened up, and the linen changed and vacuumed for food crumbs.
I selected the hotel because of the Marriott Brand Name and what I thought was a trusted company to purchase vacation packages from. ( Booking.com).... but our experience was more like a suite in an inexpensive Motel.
I recently booked another trip with booking.com. To Dominican Republic with another family, A package of over $15000.00 dollars for one week; if I would have known that booking.com is not accountable for who they represent, or that they don not stand by their customers, I would have taken my business to a tavel agent. The King Studio was so roomy and felt like home. Very comfortable overall. The front desk staff was very helpful and welcoming.
The housekeeping could use improvement. We moved the sofa to find a toy for our son and there were socks and shoe inserts that did not belong to us. Led me to think they weren't very thorough when cleaning the rooms. Also, the pool had no towels available on Friday evening and when we did get towels, they were the size of a large dish towel. Definitely not big enough for an adult or even a small child.

Cute set up, even though we only stayed for the night it was a convenient spot.
Pillows were not comfortable at all and the bed was a little too hard for our liking. I would also recommend the cleaning crew to check under and behind the rooms with couches, our room had towels and trash under ours.
