The owners are friendly and helpful and the room was superb. Breakfast was copious and there were plenty of choices.

There are steps to the room and two sets to the breakfast area which made life a little more difficult for me since I am disabled. There was some traffic noise from the nearby main road, though it was quiet overnight.

This is a charming place with an established, serene garden. The location (between Woodstock and Cradoc) is perfect for exploring the charming towns in the area. Maria and Wayne are keen to ensure your stay is pleasant and go to great lengths to accommodate your needs. Sweet wallaby pups bounce around the place along with cheeky little honey eaters, making it feel like Beatrix Potter territory :)

The location was great; close to Cygnet and Huonville but still in quiet countryside with a stunning view up the Huon River. The room was very comfy and beautifully appointed, as was the guest lounge and kitchenette. The hosts were genuinely friendly and interested in their guests - lovely people!

The garden was amazing. Loved the breakfast.

The place was immaculate and the grounds were so pretty with a picturesque scenery. Hosts were super friendly and accommodating, and breakfasts were plenty and tasty. To top it off they provided some port for a night cap in your room to settle you for bed.

Room was clean, owners were lovely, breakfast was more than expected.

Seemed like there was no sound proofing. You could here banging, dryer, noise from base music when owner playing guitar.... would have been lovely if not for that. Wanted to just chill in the peace of the country. Hot water wasn't very hot.

The breakfast was homemade and absolutely delicious. Best chutney I've had to date and a wonderful dining room too. Beautiful views of their gardens and comfy room, very warm and cozy.

Honestly I don't know. It was genuinely one of the most hospitable and fun stays/experiences I've ever had with accomodations. Thank you Maria and Wayne!

We enjoyed our short stay at the Hillside B & B. The hosts Wayne and Maria were very friendly and enjoyed a chat. We stayed in the River room which had a good view of the Huon River. The room was clean and had everything you need. Nice extras like the Port. Breakfast was delicious. If you are staying in Winter have Wayne's porridge it's very good.

Lovely view from our room. Well maintained gardens. Despite being on a main road it was quiet. Good location for travelling around Huon Valley.

Although lovely breakfast options, l had thought we had a choice of a cooked breakfast/ fresh fruit. Disappointed with reconstituted orange juice rather than fresh juice. A firmer bed would be nice. All 1st world issues.

Hillside B&B was located with 5 minute drive to Huon, 10 minutes from Cygnet. It was easy to find. Our hosts Marie and Wayne were very welcoming and friendly. They were more than helpful in assisting with things do do, and places in Huon to eat. (We decided on the pub - meals were great) Our rooms were spacious, beds comfortable, and breakfast fantastic.
