The cottages were not my favorite, they need updating, and I would have liked to know I'm booking a room in a cottage and not an entire cottage upfront. We were lucky though, there were no other people booked at the same time as us. The venue and views are amazing. The restaurant and the spa is exceptional as well as the rest of the wine farm. Overall we had a great stay, next time I'll rather book in the actual hotel though.

Breakfast excellent. Unit spacious and comfortable

We attended a wedding at Langverwacht the location for that was fantastic. It is a beautiful setting, and we enjoyed the breakfast with the lovely view. The bed was comfy, and the complementary wine was a nice touch.

A map to the room from reception would have been helpful as we did get a bit lost. We asked for a late check out and was told that would cost us R200 less than a full nights stay. A long mirror would be nice.

We liked the pictures on the internet when we booked. I was so disgusted when my friends arrived and I gad to show them their rooms.

There was a smell of mildew in all of the three rooms. The cars that they picked us op to take us to the venue were so dirty. It was probably the most dirty car we ever got a ride in.

The restaurant and restaurant staff were superb. I would definitely recommend a visit to the restaurant. Leandre at reception was lovely. The setting in which these are is beautiful. I would visit again but would not stay over.

The room was dirty, dark and dated. The chair in the lounge was broken. The carpet had not been vacuumed in a while and there was a thick layer of dust under the bed and behind the headboard. Bathroom needs complete redoing as grout is missing and now filling up with black mould. Kitchen was dated and the little fridge needs replacing as door and shelves broken. It definitely does not look like anything in the pictures. There are no views from the cottages. I'm ok with the noise from a working farm but some may not be. The cottages have farm vehicles passing by throughout the day.
