Excellent location a mile and a half from Cloud 9 but quiet with a small private beach perfect for watching the sunset. The villa was clean and very comfortable and Nick and his family did everything to make our stay an exceptional one. We will definitely be back again!

Everything was very nice and even way better as aspected. Very friendly and allways helpfull host. You enjoy privacy as you wish but if in need of any help mik and family will be there to help. If i will return, i know where to stay. Highly recomended!

Mick and his family and staff were wonderful. So helpful and we really enjoyed out stay.

This is not the owners fault. The shuttle bus didn't drive down to the property which meant I had to find someone to help with my bags. Make sure you tell the driver to take you down the dirt road to the property.

The best place I have ever stayed. From the friendly customer service to how they made me, and My husband fill at home on our honeymoon. I think that they help make our honeymoon the best memory of a Lifetime. Can't wait until next time.

My wife (Filipina) and I (Canadian) spent 6 nights at Sunset Bay, a wonderful accommodation. Our 1 bedroom villa was spacious and bright with large windows and sliding glass doors, comfortable queen bed, split AC, reliable wifi, top quality bedding and plentiful towels.The kitchen is fully equipped with full size ref, induction stove, microwave, rice cooker, toaster, kettle, large water dispenser and full set of dishes, pots, pans, utensils, sharp knives and cutting boards. The living area has a couch, coffee table and chairs. The deck is spacious with comfortable chairs and a table for outdoor dining and morning coffee. There is also a large well equipped grill area.  The resort grounds are beautifully landscaped and include a warm and very clean pool with extra towels and comfortable loungers.Complimentary stand up paddle boards and a kayak are available to use in the sheltered mangrove lined bay at the back of the property. The resort is located about 5 minutes drive from the famous Cloud 9  beach/surf area and 10 minutes from the town market which has a good selection of fresh fish, chicken, pork, fruit and vegetables. Being just on the edge of town the resort is very quiet, not a single rooster or barking dog! But best of all is the family (retired European/Austalian mom and dad and their son and his Filipino family) who designed, built, own and operate the resort, more as a labour of love than a business. You can never go out without them asking if everything is all right, what do you need, how are you enjoying your stay? My wife and I  have traveled extensively in the Philippines since I retired 6 years ago and Sunset Bay is one of the best accommodations we have found. Not the cheapest, but excellent value.

There is nothing not to like at Sunset Bay

The private beach just a few steps away is awesome!!! Our family loved waking up each morning to the beautiful landscaped gardens and sound and sight of exotic birds. Although the weather was bad, you can still Kayak, Swim and do SUP all for free!!!!

you have to take a tricycle trip every time you need to get anything. There’s no walking distance stores.

Location was excellent - right by the waters edge. Host was excellent - helped us out with everything from food to transport to tips etc. The facilities were also really great - tasteful design, pool nearby etc.

Nothing. It was a dream stay. No dislikes at all. Mitch you are as generous as you are hospitable. Felt like I was staying with a friend.

The people who own this property could not be more helpful, kind and friendly, Family owned business. wanted us not to have any concerns, completed our washing, organised our transport to airport, hired our scooter. Anything we asked or wanted, they were very happy to help us.

No Aircon in the Living Room

A very quiet resort, great access to the beach, great pool, a very welcoming hosts, they did everything to make our stay the best one. Everything was very clean and very well maitained. We felt at home😊

Has a beachfront,private pool,has a free paddle boarding and kayaking. The owner were very attentive to our needs.

Owners are very accommodating, family run business and are genuinely hapoy to see that we’re enjoying our stay. Highly recommended. rooms were tidy main pool is warm and there’s a beautiful sunset from the beach right in front of the property I would also recommend using the kayak to see the sunset. You can’t beat the unique view and its free to use its a short paddle to the bridge. where people gather to get a view of the sunset.

Sunset Bay Villas is a really chilled place to spend a holiday. The hosts are so friendly and want to help you with anything you need. Even arranged a moped to get around on. It's location is a little outside General Luna, but next to Sunset Bridge which does exactly as you would expect. Sitting at little bay at the bottom of the property and watching the sunset surrounded by trees and plants was a really relaxing experience. The resort is very quiet, the villas are impeccably clean and comfortable - all the things you could need - kitchen, snacks, coffee, water etc. It's about 1km from Cloud Nine and then only a short hop into the middle of General Luna. Definitely recommended for a relaxing break and chilled holiday.

The villa was surprisingly nice with living room and kitchen equipped with basic cooking utensils and stuff. I like the private pool too! It is located in an area away from the crowd. We enjoyed the good walk from the cloud 9 and the restos. Perfect place for the most needed rest and relaxation. Best place to watch the sunset too! Highly recommended!

Water pressure was the only issue we encountered.

Maybe one of the best place where I stayed so far. Everything is perfect. The owners are lovely , so kind and helpful. The apartment is super super clean, big, quiet with everything you need. They have even a private beach. So I strongly recommend this place. Margherita
