We had a wonderful stay at this property. The home was just right for our family. It is clean, beautifully decorated, and has everything you need in the kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms. Let's not forget it's located on the golf course with amazing views. The deer were a sight as well! We would love to return in the future! It was the perfect lil' getaway!

This house is awesome!! Everything was just as described. Kitchen was WELL stocked with anything we needed. We used fire pit, pool, golf course (you can rent clubs and a cart) the gym. We did it all. The “caddy shack” at the golf course had nightly entertainment - bingo, trivia, music, food truck etc. and the locals were so nice to us. We loved it all!!

We really enjoyed staying here. Close to family and very clean and neat. Enjoyed watching the deer and squirrels everyday. My suggestion if you may want to bring your own leftover containers or storage baggies. Evidently these must "walk" there were none. Borrowed from our family that lived nearby. Not a big deal. We rented in November so we didn't use the pool. Great fall weather. We would rent again!!

The house was very comfortable with a lovely yard in a great community. My 6 year old grandson especially enjoyed the private community beach( we went twice daily,) and the frequently visiting deer right outside the fenced in yard. The house was clean, well stocked and check in was simple. We had a wonderful stay!

Beautiful property! The abundance of outdoor areas to enjoy nature and watch the deer were fantastic. The stone terraces and artfully landscaped property were a joy to explore, and the fully fenced yard was much appreciated. The house itself was very clean and well-equipped. The master bedroom was delightfully dark at night, and the bed was quite comfortable. I can't think of anything I was missing!

My mother and her two sisters stayed here for a peaceful sister's getaway and it was perfect. The house was comfortable with everything they needed. They loved sitting outside in the back, in the quiet, and seeing all the deer and the baby deer. The surrounding area is beautiful with big trees everywhere and easy to get to town for anything else you might need. Internet worked great and the hosts communicated well, and provided easy info making check-in, access, and check-out a breeze. Would recommend. Thank you!

We had a great relaxing time at Hill Country Hideaway. Spent the majority of our time outside enjoying the terrace and yard. It was very peaceful and entertaining watching the golfers and wildlife. We would stay here again!

We selected this property and expected price was not over priced based on amenities. We wanted a property with hot tub which we were told day before check in it was not working
Also house had a beeping noise that would not stop something to do with alarm system. Also, personally thought it was awkward home owners came to the property twice during our stay and the trash cans were put out and put back up.

House & patio were delightful & we especially loved relaxing in the pool & watching very friendly golfers go by. But, the constant highlight was watching the deer, munching the grass or relaxing in the shade. One day over 30 of them stopped by & they were so adorable to watch. It's so serene & peaceful. Just a very special place to spend a week relaxing & enjoying the best of times.

The house could not have been better for our family reunion. Both the inside and outside were wonderful. The patios, hot tub/exercise pool, and view were fantastic. The development has many amenities of which we enjoyed many. There was something for everyone and the house had ample room. Tricia and James were incredibly accommodating. We stayed four nights and had a great stay. James and Trixie were fantastic at communication leading up to and during the stay. The property was excellent, right on the golf course and our family loved the hot tub and the tons of deer who were just outside the gate. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful property, great lake access, and so many deer!
We stayed at this home during a recent visit to some State Parks in the area, and a college tour at UT Austin. The home was spacious, nicely decorated, and really accommodated our group well. The kitchen has all the necessities, and the gas grill worked great. The kids (well, and me, too) loved the deer everywhere, and the neighborhood beach was gorgeous! I'm now ready to get a golf cart and move to Point Venture!

Great Getaway
The property was as described, if not better. Clean, well organized and a great layout for families. There is so much to do in the resort area, that you can stay far away from the Austin traffic. My kids loved watching the deer, the swin spa, and hot tub. Trixi is awesome and even brought us donuts!

Our hosts were amazing from beginning to end. They were helpful in tips upon arrival. They communicated well when the lawn care was scheduled to come by. And their place is gorgeous. Everything worked perfectly and the house was immaculate. Our favorite hosts by far of any place we have stayed.

The property is super clean and tidy. Plenty of supplies. Owners are nice and very responsive. We enjoyed the stay and the private park a lot. Nice and quiet neighborhood. If you enjoy golf this is your best choice.
For us, the only inconvenience is that we stayed for a week, and the food choices and grocery stores within 15min drive is kind limited. Closest nice grocery store (HEB) is 35 min away. So do need to plan well before the stay. :)

Month long start at Lago Vista
We stayed for the month of February 2022 and had a great time. The location and view on the 7th hole of the golf course was great. We really enjoyed watching the golfers, deer and the beautiful sunrises. Great neighborhood for walking or riding bikes and access to Lake Travis and beautiful sunsets. During the cold spells we wish the hot tub could have been hotter, but overall a great property.

The Perfect Getaway!!
My husband and I had a great time on our long weekend getaway!! The house was perfect for relaxing. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Every night we enjoyed the hot tub with its private setting, surrounded by decks and trees. The outdoor patios are beautiful, with lots of options on where to sit. During the day the side patio allows for you to watch the golfers without the risk of getting hit by a stray ball. Although the house is located in a neighborhood, the lot that it sits on is very large and allows for a lot of privacy. The neighborhood is also perfect for walking. We took advantage of the workout facility which is also quite large and has plenty of equipment to choose from. One day we drove down to the private park that is located right on the lake. Perfect place for a picnic! Although we are golfers we didn't take advantage of the course but plan to next time, as it looks like it is in great condition! This location offers so much to do, as well as a perfect setting for just relaxing!! We will definitely be back!!

The swimming pool & hot tub were at the side of the house - it was such a relaxing location & we spent our afternoons there. Loved the inside of the house, well decorated & charming. Great kitchen & we enjoyed having a bedroom on this level too. Wish we could have stayed longer.
