Wonderful, fabulous location and view! Air conditioning worked perfectly, very nice!

The apartment and especially the location was perfect for our needs. Flat walk from ferry to apartment. No need for a mule to carry luggage. Only 15 steps up to front door. Supermarkets, restaurants roght outside front door. Swimming off the rocks at Spilia or Hydronetta only steps away. Endless entertainment watching boats, people, mules, cats,
sunrise and listening to bells chime from our windows. When windows were shut the apartment was virtually sound proof and the air conditioning was excellent and much needed. The lovely Maria from Studio Hydra helped us to the apartment and we could store our luggage after check out while we waited for our ferry to depart. Would book this apartment again in a heartbeat.

Location was incredible, right on the port, we had the most amazing view on the balcony. The accommodation was so spacious and well equipped. The best place I stayed on my Europe trip. A little pricier than I paid elsewhere but well worth it.

Hydra is beautiful, and this apartment is the perfect place to stay. The location is excellent, right on the harbour front with barely any steps to climb! It has wonderful views, especially from the balcony: the perfect spot to enjoy a coffee and watch the world go by.
It has everything you could need, and the owner was so helpful…she alerted me to a ferry strike a full 24 hours before the ferry company! All questions were answered quickly, and when I couldn’t find some bags for the kitchen bin she had some sent over in 5 minutes!

Proximity to harbor, shops, restaurants, groceries. Loved the balcony to relax in the evenings. Nice shower, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen. Good communication with the owner.
This is a very minor problem, really, but the proximity to the harbor brings all its noises: the boats in the mornings, and the bar music and patrons at night, especially Friday. With the doors closed and a/c on, it’s not too bad.

The location was amazing. very well equipped, clean and comfortable. Balcony overlooking the harbour makes for great viewing of fishing boats to super yachts

great view! great location, was at doorstep to everything, port, shops, restaurants! Cute verandah from top bedroom only, great to unwind & people watch! self contained so could wash clothes & cook if desire!
NOISE FACTOR! unfortunately close proximity to everything means you will hear everything. Loud music from nearby bars & people's voices. So if you can sleep through this, then should not be a problem. I thought expensive $400euro per night for what you get, so just an apartment (no pool, gym or other facilities or cleaning) It was not conveyed properly that it was more air bnb accommodation. And View from main living is only from 3 small windows, you need to go upstairs to bedroom to get better view and use balcony. all in all lovely though

Hydra is a magic place and this apartment is a really wonderful choice. It is in the middle of everything and watching the boats and ships come and go while sitting on the private balcony is very inspiring. It feels like being in a premiere lodge in a huge opera house around the clock.

We loved the location. It was close to shops, restaurants, and a market. The home was clean, attractive and very well equipped. The host was very easy to communicate with and check in and out were easy.

I have been coming to Hydra for many years and have been trying to book Hydra’s view on three occasions. To be on the harbour front on the cooler facing side was especially delightful. What surprised me was how quiet it was. The apartment is spacious with what appears to be a recently refitted bathroom with a nice airy shower. The beds were comfortable with plenty of wardrobe space. On this occasion we were allowed to check out late which was so appreciated but I suspect this was a one off.
I think the electricity should be put on a higher tariff as it kept cutting out. Perhaps this might be rectified with the simple addition of an electric toaster. It was not a great problem but might be off putting if you are not used to such vagaries.

the extreme noise of churchbells starting at 6 am is daunting, no place to sleep into a cosy morning.

The view, location and very good space of the apartment. We were really enjoyed our stay. We recommend this other people.
Sometimes noise, but this apartment is in the center of Hydra, so it is obvious that is not a quiet part of Hydra.

Very central. With a lovely view on the buzzing harbour. You can sit on the balcony and just watch for hours whats happening with a constant flow of ferries, sailing boats, donkeys, people…
The windows are well sound isolated. But one should be aware that the harbour is busy from early morning to late night, so it is not a place for someone who expects a calm place.

What a WONDERFUL space with an increadible view of Hydra harbour! Not a second of boredom! The BEST restaurats and shops a view steps away! The house has generous dimensions and is FULLY equipped with everything you could wish for! The host is a GEM! Without her help we wouldn't have even know HOW to best get to the island.
Wen we send her message with our arrival time she called the port and found out the ferry we had booked from Ermioni had departed two hours earlier than what our tickets showed and redirected us to the Mitochi-Hydra ferry. A WONDERFUL experience! We can't wait to be back!

‘Hydra View’ is simply a stunning and authentic Hydra property. It’s location is excellent providing beautiful views of the port. The property itself, is a combination of both contemporary and traditional facilities, all of which are presented in excellent condition.
For a visit to Hydra, I could not more highly recommend, this property.
This is not something that in any way impacted my stay however, I would not consider the property to be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. This is due to the steps leading to the property and the internal stairs.
