Excellent service, nothing was too much trouble.

The soy/oat milk I had requested on booking and been assured would be available was not. The only tea was Earl Grey which not everyone likes - including me! English Breakfast Tea would be a better choice. The bedroom was very grey with dingy lighting some pops of colour and a nice table lamp would make a big difference!

Very pleasant and helpful staff. A lovely peaceful atmosphere I'm an historic building.The breakfast was very good and the dinner was delicious.We slept in a separate annexe where most of the guest rooms are but we were happy with this arrangement

Excellent service. Beautifully decorated old buildings, lots of history and charm.

Lamp didn't work, so the room was pretty dark the first night.

Nice surroundings, quiet area, free parking. We had a superior room which was a nice room in the newer building.

Both the shower and the bath tub were clogged so it came water on the bathroom floor after use. A bit messy. It was fixed for the shower after some time...

Historic, well maintained main building from 1883 with old paintings and classic library. Modern, clean rooms in annex. Good breakfast, buffet and limited a la carte menu. Quiet location on former military base close to naval and photography museum. 15 minutes walk to town centre.

The three courses dinner was excellent, together with the wine packet. it was also wonderful to sit outside, joining a cup of coffee or a bottle om home brewed beer.

Hi. I was booked room in this hotel. But they ring from hotel and said they do not have any rooms free. But I was ring 5 hours after booked. Ikke bra!

Lovely breakfast! And lovely house with dining room and library:) From the wartime Norway and military books as well.

The room was not very big, and quite dark, but nice. We wanted a bathtub b ut did not get one. The dinner opportunity was not open, and we did not know this, the town of Horten had very few good restaurants in the evening. But we finally found one!(Centre)

Everything! It was comfortable, clean and quiet.

We booked Deluxe room with bath and payed price for that but get simple room and when asked about that reception worker lied that for room with bath need to book another room and pay another price but then check all booking possibilities it was booked correctly. Also, after check-in, there was a need to wait for the room to be ready and cleaned more then 15 min. Room is not as high standard as described. Window outside is very dirty. No door handles on shelves. Poor breakfast. Barely enough for two. On Sunday no possibility for dinner.
