The location was lovely and there was parking which was a bonus! The rooms were clean and nicely fitted out and there were some lovely shared rooms (lounge and kitchen) for all the guests.
The breakfast was extremely disappointing - there was not a great deal of choice e.g. on the first morning of our 3 day stay there was only one croissant and during the next 2 days no more were bought. The lady who worked there apologised nicely but ultimately I guess her hands were tied by the owners. The online checkin failed us in that we never received the email with the relevant information on it despite emailing the hotel - their reply was simply that its been sent by booking.com. Upon our arrival there was no one to help and eventually the guy in the restaurant phoned the owners for us as the owners were not answering our calls (there is even a notice in the restaurant saying their staff cant help hotel guests!). Eventually it got sorted but not a great impression when you are tired after a days travel - The room was smaller than expected - I guess we should have realised that as the size was stated on the advert. Security was also a concern as it appeared that the outer doors were never locked. Overall the lack of staff to deal with any issues esp the booking in made it feel like a room in a shared house and not a hotel. In our opinion it was poor value for money.

Wir übernachteten Mitte Dezember dort. Zimmer neuwertig, sehr sauber, schön und liebevoll eingerichtet. Aussicht direkt am und über den See ist genial. Per Mail konnten Frühstück/Parkplatzbedarf organisiert werden.

The hotel is on the water which is very nice. The view was great as was the food in the restaurant.
We had written in advance that we would be coming with electric bikes that we would want to charge and store safely. We were told that there was a garage for the bikes. However, there was no garage to store the bikes. Instead we had to leave them outside and there was only one outlet available there.

It was recently remodeled and very nicely furnished. Right on the lake. Convenient restaurant on the lake. We did complain about the view and the host was very quick to respond so that was nice - apparently they didn’t have any more rooms.
We paid for a room with a full lake view. But the view was actually from the side. We had more view of the road then the lake. The room was very small. The price for this seems high compared to other places we have stayed recently.

We had a lake or sea view room which was comfortable and the view across the lake was great. Limited on site parking, but we found a space. Non lake / sea view rooms face onto the busy road…..
We booked room only, yet the information on the booking.com web site does not mention breakfast at all. So thought it was included, but it wasn’t, so be warned! So no breakfast is included and if you want this, it’s 15CHF per person and you only get one cup of coffee, a small fruit juice, if the waiter remembers to bring you one and a small sharing plate of cold meats and cheese - not much for the amount this is charged! Served by the restaurant that is nothing to do with the hotel. We found this rather misleading compared to all the other hotels we have stayed in…..

Restaurant stuff is not too nice, slow and we felt food experience as an only weakness. Breakfast is very limited and for everything you have to ask and they do not like it. Our feeling..

Very nice environment with lake thun behind the hotel.
I booked the hotel with balcony which is much more expensive than the normal room. But I was disappointed to find a tall tree blocking the view from my balcony. For the first 2 nights, some Indian family gathered at the balcony beneath my room and talked really loud till late night and I couldn't rest well. There's a small kitchen but no plates or even forks/spoons available. I had to borrow from the restaurant. And there's bird droppings everywhere on the balcony floor and table. Pillows are very uncomfortable. The room and toilet is very very small and I can't even move around the room with my 2 luggage on the floor. The cleaner ruined my nubra with tissue on the adhesive side. Pillows uncomfortable can't sleep well. For the price I'm paying, I'm really upset and disappointed.

Lovely hotel with amazing views and clean rooms. The staff was really accommodating and friendly. Nice communal kitchen with a good coffee machine, water and fruit.
There isn’t anything we didn’t love about the property, maybe only suggestion would be to have other variety of fruit in the kitchen other than apples

Location is perfect, right on the lake front and the main road. There's a great dining room with a view over the lake, as well a short private dock you can walk on. The room was nice and clean, as was the bathroom. The lady on the other end of "digital reception" responded very quickly to my questions through Booking.com after we arrived.
The restaurant is very poor quality and terrible value for money. Despite this, it's still inexplicably popular with non-guests on Friday/Saturday night, which makes parking difficult as there are no dedicated guest spots. There is no breakfast available. The room was sold as "lakeview balcony," which it is a bit generous as most of the the view of lake is obscured by a flourishing tree. (It's nice tree, don't get me wrong, but you can't see much of the lake). Very little hanging space in the room, and there's no iron. The communal coffee machine broke down.
