Little Banks Barn was a fabulous stay. The cabin itself was spotless and a home from home! Would love to visit in the winter time as would be so cosy and festive!

It was a beautiful, self-contained cabin with our own private courtyard set amongst a perfectly maintained garden. Wendy was a fabulous hostess who, when we arrived a couple of hours before check-in, directed us to Smugglers Road in the New Forest, which was the perfect first-time experience of what the New Forest has to offer for my husband.

Nothing not to like, it was perfect for us.

I loved that it was very clean, comfortable and felt homely. It was a lovely cosy place to stay for a weekend away. especially for couples. we stayed for a chilled birthday weekend. The host was chatty and kind, very thoughtful and welcoming. I loved that there was lots of blankets and it was warm especially as it’s winter, I love the patio and the views.. it would have been lovely in the summer months to have a nice drink at the table. the decor was my cup of tea, really nice and very modern but quirky at the same time. I would most definitely stay again in the future if I’m in the area or wanting a lovely little get away <3 I didn’t take many photos, only of the decorations I put up. it looked very cute !

the only improvements would be a more powerful shower but it’s a barn so you can’t have it all and the lovely lady said about it on arrival but it would of been nice to have that luxury and also a hob but again I don’t know if it’s possible but could maybe supply an electric hob or something along those lines it would then be easier to make home cooked food especially as it’s the type of stay that you want to stay in go for a nice long walk and make some food at “home” but that’s if I’m being really picky as there is a microwave, kettle etc. but it didn’t affect the stay it was still a lovely little getaway.

Wendy & Phil were so welcoming snd friendly... nothing was too much trouble.

We loved the terrace! The accommodation was very clean and exactly what we wanted. Loved that the hosts gave us some snacks and made us very welcome. The location is great to access lovely walks and bike rides in the new forest. Thank you for having us!
