The vulture feeding station at Dronfield is fascinating. This place is also very quiet and peaceful.
There was no power supply due to a broken cable and so there was no electricity if the generator was not running. The chalet was also very cold (we stayed there in July)

Generator during loadshedding. Abundance of wildlife
There is no oven, only a hot plate. Kitchen utensils were at minimum. No scrapers or handles for the braai grid

Stunning siting of animals
Peaceful and beautiful surroundings
Close to town and can stay amongst nature
No cleaning was received during the entire stay
No wifi obtained from unit 6 due to distance from reception (would have requested a closer unit if advised as was empty)
Did not classify a 2 plate stove to be the stovetop
The 6 units are far from the entrance

well, everything.... from the accommodation to the various animals we saw (especially the bush babies). Peaceful, quiet and tranquil.
Best breakaway we had in a long time.
Nothing can be done about is but in Chalet 5 the aircon is positioned awkwardly which does not make it perform optimally.

To wake up with blue wildebeest grazing on your doorstep, is bliss! Here you find quietness and the beauty of nature with large herds of animals just a few kilometers from Kimberley. A fantastic breakaway destination!

Loved the peaceful quiet setting of the cottage.
The variety of wild animals - the vultures were a bonus!
Nothing not to like. We got way more than we expected. Wished we could have stayed longer.

Upon arrival we had a lovely drive to our chalet. We had plenty of ice, firewood, firelighters and coffee/tea.
The scenery and silence was so enjoyable.

Lovely, quiet location in the bush just outside Kimberley
A pity that there is a big metal cage trap at the Vulture Hide.

The chalet was extremely cold. No heated underblanket or other way to keep warm.
