Cozy, clean and thoughtful cabin property. Good value for price. Convenient location for visiting local attractions. Rustic, older decor. Lovely host! You can't GPS this location's address, however the host provided clear driving instructions prior to our arrival. Unique situation with the shower outside of the cabin, but we didn't mind.

Mini refrigerator door was broken, however a second refrigerator was provided (prior to arrival) by the host which made the problem a non-issue.

The property is in a beautiful and convenient location. It has a large meadow surrounded by greenery. The apartment in the main house is very spacious and well equipped. It looks smaller in the pictures than it really is. The kitchen has everything you need. All conventional kitchen appliances and additionally there was also coffee and tea, dishwashing liquid and tablets, cloths, tea towels and soap. There was even a welcome gift waiting for us in the fridge. The living room has a large and comfortable couch and a big Smart TV. WiFi was working and available in all rooms. The beds are comfortable and spacious. In the shed next to the house there is a grill with charcoal available and ready to use. The hosts were particularly friendly and helpful. They do everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Mikael for example brought us the tastiest strawberries we ever had in our life. And Marita did some research to help us. The communication before our arrival also went smoothly. We had a great stay and would come again, so we highly recommend this accommodation. Thanks a lot for everything

Everything was so clean, also the appartment was fully equipped. It gave a feeling of home. The price is a steal.

Nothing, everything was above our expectations.

The idyllic location, the friendly and helpful hosts (Marita made us feel right at home), the well-equipped apartment (appreciated the kitchen a whole lot), how close it was to the different sites... and so much more. We really enjoyed driving through the countryside, being at one with nature, and exploring the remnants of the Scandinavian Bronze age around Tanumshede. The house is located a short car-ride away from the Tjurpannan, which provides breathtaking views of the North Sea. A brilliant experience overall!

The location was perfect as we wanted to visit Fjällbacka, Hamburgsund and Grebbestad. The house is next to a train line and a road but there were never any noise issues with either trains or cars. It was a very peaceful and tranquil place. We stayed in the log cabin and it was perfect for a couple or a small family. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need. We only ate breakfast there on a wonderful sunny terrace on the back of the cabin; as we were out sightseeing for most of the day. The hosts live next door but it was very private and they were always on hand if needed i.e. log supplies for the fire. The sauna and shower worked perfectly though it is located in the property next door but certainly worth the experience!

It is good to note there is no shower in the log cabin for those who prefer it to be. However, this did not cause any problems for us, as it is very closeby. I would not be comfortable bringing toddlers to this property as it is not gated and it would be very easy to run onto the nearby road and trainline but perfect for older children. As it was April, the log cabin was very cold at night. It was warm during the day due to sunlight but otherwise the fire had to be on every night. The hosts brought us extra heaters which really helped and extra firewood but once the fire died, so did the heat in the room! We were glad that we brought our own heavy quilt as it was needed! In hindsight, the log cabin is best suited to the summer months. However, if you don´t mind wrapping up at night then it´s fine for spring and autumn too but probably not winter. Whilst the morning sun is glorious when it shines through the windows of the cabin, a sleeping mask is definately recommended for the occasional lie in.
