it’s spacious, we had an issue with the state of the property and this was quickly sorted as a cleaner was sent round to clean

A bit tired, door handle broken and shower faulty. Water wasn’t hot. Radiators didn’t get warm, even after sending a message it wasn’t fixed. later saw a small heater which we had to share between 3 rooms.

There no certain board rats poisoning in back yard where my kids couldn't go out to play door in downstairs bedroom no handle and living room door won't shut hole behind living room door kitchen door frame was missing and it was to dangerous for my kids to stay

great value, plenty of room, ease of parking, quiet location but very close to main routes, easy to get into city by car, had internet

this isn’t for you if you wanted the latest modern facilities, but for a family it had everything we needed

Location was great for what we needed tho the neighbours/drunks next door were not ideal and noisy.

Filthy accommodation, doors to bedrooms didn’t shut properly, windows that didn’t shut properly in bedroom. The chopping board in the kitchen with a years worth of mould on was definitely the low point.

Plenty of space in the house. Kitchen had what we needed. We were happy to find twin beds in 3 rooms in the house (twin beds are better than doubles for children sharing a room), although this was a surprise as the description said doubles.

It could be a really nice property but right now it needs some love. 2 bedrooms didn't have working ceiling lights, the others had some bulbs blown or dim but still overall worked. Flickering light in the kitchen. Door handle to one room was missing when we arrived. I had to re-assemble bathroom door lock when my son locked me in with no way of getting out. No shelves in the cupboards, no drawers in any of the rooms. Full & overflowing wheelie bin was left outside house despite no collections due during our stay. We'd also have appreciated another chair for the dining table- there were only four.

Absolutely nothing

Where do I start? Filthy house, stained furniture, kitchen a disgrace, stained tea towels, dirty cutlery, uncleaned microwave and cooker, no cleaning products, food left in cupboards and in freezer, uncleaned fridge, no blinds or curtains in the kitchen meaning neighbour can see in at all hours, back garden was filthy, full of weeds, bins overflowing, smelly and fly-infested, dog mess and half-eaten food strewn everywhere, lights not working, doors wouldn’t close, one door propped open with a paint tin, no fire extinguishers, no smoke detectors, the light fuses blew five times on the night we arrived and the following day meaning a treacherous journey into a damp unlit cellar to throw the fuse box back on, piles of damp laundry at the top of the stairs and a discarded pair of men’s underwear, the door leading to this cellar totally unguarded meaning it would be a death trap for children, stained bedding, duvets, pillow protectors and sheets. Awoken each night by anti-social behaviour either from the neighbour or random drunks wielding huge knives checking car doors! Complained to the owners contact details on booking as soon as we arrived, tried to call 13 times, and left two voicemails, before she must have barred my number (later telling me just before leaving, that she locked her phone in a car all Bank Holiday weekend)! Also sent numerous messages on the booking.com portal none of which were answered! When she finally spoke to me on check out day, (after some very aggressive cleaners arrived 2 hours before check out time telling us they thought we had already left and we needed to leave now as they had people arriving early) she apologised, refused to entertain my request of a refund, basically told me my expectations were too high, and hung up! She then refused to give me a business address where I could send my formal complaint to, denying me my right as a consumer.
