Loved the location- easy walk to the beach or nearby park. Great central location for drives to whatever restaurants or adventures you go to. We chose to stay here over newer nearby beachside motels to have more space for the dog/family, to have a kitchen, and to have the extra bedroom for the kid. Happy with our decision! It was comfy and perfect for our needs. By the way, the beds were comfortable and we all had great nights’ sleep. (I saw a previous review that said the opposite- not sure if they were changed or not, but fyi we found them to be comfortable!) thanks so much! Was the perfect “last hoorah” trip before school starts back up.

This little attached condo has everything you need. The living room and kitchen were nicely appointed. However, we couldn’t figure out how to get the TV to work with the cable box (even Gen Y was mystified). The beds are basic and firm with enough linens and pillows to make them comfortable. They are on wheels and lack headboards, so sitting in bed to read was a bit strange as the bed would start inching away from the wall. Heat is provided by baseboard heaters that worked well. The condo is in a quiet neighborhood (at least in April) and is a 10 minute walk to nice restaurants, ice cream, coffee, bakeries, a performing arts center, book store, etc. Though, in April, not all of these places had hours that are conducive to tourists. The condo has a peak a boo view of the ocean and beach access is a 5 minute walk away. We did enjoy our stay!

Parking is great, and it's very quiet except for all the construction of new buildings nearby. The "ocean view" is a narrow area between motels. The cooking utensils really need updated, silverware was mismatched and very cheap, only one beat-up frying pan, one rubber spatula that looked like someone bit the end off, but good supply of dishes. Bed was comfy, spacious rooms, no info on TV with three remotes. The dishwasher didn't work but was fixed quickly. The washer & dryer is outside of the rental and requires a key, but we didn't know. A document should be left there with necessary information.

The location is very good. Close to everything in Newport and Nye Beach. You can see the ocean from the house. That's really nice. This is a very nice neighborhood, quiet, and really nice neighbors.

A block from the beach and only a few minutes drive to shops. Nice and quiet area. Home could use some updating. Some outlets need replaced so plugs don’t slide out. Also, needs bigger/brighter lights/lamps and bedrooms need curtains that can be drawn over blinds at night since shades have a gap in the middle. Overall a great stay.

We have stayed at this location 2 times and we like it as it is close to the beach and shopping. We were also able to walk to the local farmers marker with a variety of items for sale.

The linens were crisp, fresh, clean and well-made! This really impressed my wife! Everything was really clean! Everything worked. No complaints at all. There is pride in the upkeep and quality of this little gem. We will stay again!

Nice & Spacious, Needs new mattresses or mattress pads. It is a great home away from home. Could work more on the deep cleaning. Cobwebs in the corners, bookcase very dusty, area rugs were full of sand (we didn’t go to beach), cabinet doors need wipe down (I did some), etc.

Quaint Place
This property was nice to an extent. From the pictures it looks great. Its only a 2 minute walk to the beach and located right in the heart of Newport. However, when we arrived and walked in the front door we were hit with a very unpleasant odor. Its not that the property wasn't clean, because everything looked visibly clean, but there was the smell of musty air that was fairly unsettling. We ended up having to get candles and deodorizer to help alleviate some of the smell. The shower was also a bit finicky as there would be waves of hot and cold water and no amount of adjusting could fix that, in fact only made it worse. However, those issues aside its a lovely property.

Decent place but ....
VERY cold on check-in, took two or three hours to get warm, ran out of toilet paper on day two, no lights out front ( burned out ), condom wrapper under the cushion of couch, the towels felt like they were bran new and had never been washed ( and threw off lint), and only 1 of the 4 keys actually worked.
And there was a smear of some sort on one of the couch cushions - I shudder to think that it may have been related to the condom wrapper
On a positive note, I managed to lock myself out (that in itself should not be doable) and the local Vacasa team was very quit to come out and let me in.

Decent enough place
Fully stocked with dishes and cookware, this two bedroom, one bath 560 sq. ft apartment fulfilled our needs very nicely. It has a full kitchen, with a dishwasher, and a nice sized wooden dining table. A couch and reading chairs with an entertainment system rounded it out nicely. It has original oak floors. Only downside, baseboard heat, but no real big deal on that. Easy walk to Nye Beach and the eateries and shops there without having to drive. I'd recommend this place for sure.
