A really nice place in a very convenient location. The rooms are nice but the best part is the outside covered breezeway. It is a really great place to hang out in the evening.

This property is special. Great location to grocery store, elk rapids, hiking, lakes, and horse show. Super clean, cozy, spacious, great outdoor areas as well to congregate next to a fire. The bathrooms are huge and beds are all comfortable. Loved the whole ambience and can’t wait to come back. Check in was seamless and easy communication with owner and help. Just as pictured! Very clean and accommodating to an 8 person group. The beds were very comfortable! The location perfect between Traverse, Elk and Charlevoix. Loved downtown Elk Rapids! Would have loved an outdoor firepit, but the gas one was very nice also. No complaints!

Nice house for family fishing trip

When looking for a vacation home for a little getaway, we wanted a home that was clean, updated and close to Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes and Torch Lake and allowed pets. This home checked every box! From the beautiful interior that was squeaky clean to the kitchen that had everything you could want to make a meal or just a snack, it was perfect. The owners are very quick to respond to any questions about the area or the house and have made this a home away from home for us all. For anyone looking in the Traverse City area and want to bring your pup with you (this home has a small fenced in area off the primary bedroom for your pup!) look no further. We will definitely be back!

It would be nice to have more of a seating area with a couch and a bigger TV. Other than that the house was nicely stocked with supplies you would need.

This house was absolutely perfect. The location is obviously hard to beat but the house exceeded our expectations by a long shot! It was clean, cozy (it’s October!), a great spot to retreat to after exploring northern MI colors in the fall. We absolutely loved it. Dave was fantastic to work with, quick to respond, and even sent us a packet by mail with all sorts of maps and info about the area. You can’t go wrong staying here!

We walk in and the place is sparkling clean! The kitchen has everything you need. Really nice property everything's perfect! Only suggestion is to get a king sized bed in the master suite. Our one year old slept with us and there's just not enough room on a queen. We will be back :)

Worked perfectly for our needs

Great for two families. Lots of room upstairs for teenagers. Super close to Elk Rapids and orchards. Two refrigerators worked well. Remember to bring your linens and towels. If you bring a pet keep an eye out for the bottom of the fence not being secure to the ground and they can fit under it. Beautiful scenery however noisy road with lots of traffic. Overall a nice experience for a weekend away.

Great place just off if the water and close to Elk Rapids.

Our family really enjoyed staying at this beautiful home. It was only 5 miles from Torch Lake, half hour from Traverse City, and one hour from Sleeping Bear Dunes! The actual city of Elk Rapids is a small town with not much to do though. The nearby lake access one mile away is nothing special. You can go downtown though about three miles away to the public beach. The home was very nice and clean, kitchen is decently stocked, and he even had sanitizer and masks available at check in. The upstairs floor plan is open, four beds with an open floorplan, there is no privacy, just a small curtain. It's fine if you don't mind this type of setting, but don't expect privacy up there. There is a nice seating outside and a nice firepit. Also there is two fridges, which was very handy to our family. Also, there was a dog crate and some outdoor games in the garage. Overall, we really enjoyed this home, David was very kind and responsive. I would recommend his home to you!

Your home was very clean, well stocked with necessary supplies, conveniently located to beaches and Traverse City. We felt very safe and at home in your rental property!

Overall, great property and channels of communication with the property owner were excellent...he always answered any questions in a timely manner. We would definitely consider this property again with any future travels to this area of the state! The only issue, and a minor one for sure, was having to bring our own linens and towels...first time in a half a dozen VRBO rentals that this was required.....but did not influence our overall favorable impression of the property.

This place is amazing! We booked last min and the process could not have been smoother, David the owner was amazing. Beds are comfy, furniture is comfy, it's cleanliness is immaculate. When I come back, this is where I'll be staying. Book it now, you will not be disappointed!!
