Newest Condo @ FWB - Direct Walk Out to Beach/Pool
Blu es el proyecto de condominio de lujo más nuevo en la isla de Okaloosa y se abrirá en junio de 2019.
Lo que hace que Blu sea único, además de ser completamente nuevo, es que está en el extremo de la isla, directamente en el golfo de México, con más de 300 pies de vida frente al golfo. Compartimos toda esta playa con solo otros 46 propietarios de unidades. Las instalaciones de nuestro complejo a las puertas de la unidad serán las mejores en la isla, con dos piscinas grandes, una entrada cero, un fogón junto a la playa, una gran bañera de hidromasaje, un gimnasio de última generación, un sistema de seguridad privado y un área de parrillas.
Lo que realmente nos entusiasma es que nuestros huéspedes pueden pasar de la serenidad de la parte tranquila de la isla Okaloosa a todo lo que se ofrece en la isla Wild Willy's, The Gulf, The Gulfarium y BoardWalk en una corta caminata o recorrido de 2 millas. Solid spot to stay. Overall, the cost of beach rentals has gotten truly insane. But no complaints on this condo. Very happy.

Overall we enjoyed a wonderful stay at Blu 102 this year.
The unit was spacious and clean. The living room sofas were comfortable and there was room for all to sit, dining table was also nice size. The only negatives were: master shower heads did not work properly, linens were not the best quality, pool was dirty with black in corners and around edges.

Condo unit was on first floor with pools directly out our patio and the beach a few steps further. Rooms were spacious and furniture very comfortable. Our family of 12 enjoyed everything. Will be back in a few years!

The description of the property was extremely accurate. Beautiful place and loved being on the first floor to go directly out to the pool/ocean. Our kiddos had a great time playing in the pool and in the beach non-stop.

The condo was very clean & spacious with large bedrooms & bathrooms, lots of seating in the kitchen/living room, large patio with lots of seating. Perfect first floor location with quick, easy access to 2 pools, & the most beautiful beach. Safe underground parking. Everything was very comfortable for hanging out, playing games, watching TV, sunbathing, & making meals for our family of 6 adults and 2 kids. Rick was very responsive and easy to work with. Would definitely recommend!

Is this ground level property is fantastic for family vacation. Well lit pool for evening swims. Easy beach access and conveniently located close to pier and boardwalk.

Location was perfect. Great access to the pool and beach. Everything in and around the entire facility was immaculate. The owner and manager made it all so easy to enjoy our getaway. Looking forward to next year.

This unit had everything we needed for our family. Extra towels and even cozy blankets. Our boys loved the bunk bed room. The first floor balcony is absolutely key for enjoying the beautiful pool area. The rooms were a bit dusty as their was chunks of dust in the rooms and on the fans. The breaker continued to trip in the master bedroom for unknown reasons. The fitness center is exceptional and another great amenity. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!

The condo itself was perfect for us. Being on the first floor and being able to walk right out to the pool was great. The girls loved the bunk room. Rick was quick to respond to any issues.

We absolutely fell in love with this property and the entire condo resort. There were a couple of little problems but Rick was so quick to respond and address. The beds were fabulous, the long sofas were wonderful for our group of 10, and the bathrooms and kitchens were soooo nice.
A couple of suggestions would be some kind of chest or drawers under the tv in the bunk room bc there is no closet in that room, it would be great to have somewhere to put clothing instead of suitcases on the floor. Also, some hooks on the backs of bathroom doors would be nice!
We loved Blu 102 and hope to return!

Everything about this condo was perfect! Rick was very informative about the check in and check out process! The condo was very spacious and very clean. The deck that leads to the pool was amazing! We enjoyed our stay and we will be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Blu 102. We were a family of 6 with a 1 year old and had plenty of room. The beds were comfortable. The condo had everything we needed. We loved being on the ground floor with straight access to the pool- especially with a little kid. Very easy and quick walk to the beach. We will definitely be back!
Rick was very quick to respond to an in issue and was very apologetic.
One thing to note- the listing only shows a regular coffee pot but there was also a Keurig. I would recommend updating the listing. I had to pack mine because I didn’t know.

Blu 102 = Great Unit & Great, Responsive Manager
This unit was everything that the website said it was. We had 6 adults and 5 kids, ages 5-11 and had plenty of room. The unit was clean and spacious. Having the pool right outside of our door was perfect. Even though the unit was on the 1st floor we could still see and hear the ocean from our patio and the gate that leads to the beach was right next to the pool. We cooked every night and the kitchen was well equipped. I did contact the manager, Rick, letting him know of a couple of items that would be nice to have in the unit, such as sharp knife, more pots & pans, and a replacement toaster. I was not expecting to get these items during our stay (I just wanted management to know that would be nice to have) but they were delivered within 24 hours! Rick was very prompt in answering my questions both before my trip and during our stay! My family and I look forward to staying in this same unit during our next trip to Okaloosa Island.

We love Blu! This is our 4th time at Blu but our first in this particular unit. We had a fabulous vacation. We’ve already rebooked for next year!

Perfect set up for families with young children
We loved the ease of check in and check out. Being on first floor so close to the pool allows babies to nap but we were close enough to take turns outside. Nice to have a large table outside too for dining. Very clean and lots of sand toys in locker. Beach chairs with umbrella were a great touch!

Family Trip
The place was great, very clean and modern on the first floor. It is directly by the pool (with safety gates) and the beach which worked perfect for two 2 year old's and a 5 year old. It was very easy to get additional beach chairs with an attendant dedicated to the property. Rick was extremely easy to communicate with and very thorough with information on the property.

Florida Get Away
The property is in a great location and the beach was awesome. The condo was plenty large enough for all seven of us. Very nice. I was a little disappointed in the cleanliness. The important things were fine, bed and bathroom, but the floor in the living area needed a little more attention. Overall it was a great place to stay and we had a blast.

Return Visit
We vacationed at Blu for New Year’s last year. We loved it so much that we decided to spend Spring Break there this year! The location and convenience of the first floor walkout makes life with kids so easy! The finishes and interior are beautifully appointed, and the owner is extremely responsive and helpful. We will definitely be back (again)!!

I’ve been coming to FWB for 15 years and this is by far the best condo I have stayed. Everything is newer, built in 2019. Well stocked and great owner, he responded before and during the trip quickly. Will book again!

Amazing Location!!!
We loved staying in this condo! With a one year old and three year old, staying on the first floor made going to the pool and beach a breeze! No waiting on an elevator or dragging things up and down the stairs. We loved having the reserved beach chairs and umbrella all week; my husband even took advantage of the free hour of kayaking and paddle boarding each day.
All of the finishes in the condo were beautiful and very updated. The baseboards, light switches, and shower tile could have used a good scrubbing and there were some stains on the bedding, but overall, the condo was pretty clean. If you plan on cooking, verify with the owner ahead of time on what all is included in the kitchen; we made do, but if we stay here again, we will likely bring some of our own cooking supplies. Highly recommend this unit, you can’t beat the location or the beauty of this condo!

Wonderful stay in beautiful digs
Generally very good. The condo, pools and beach were gorgeous. Staff was courteous and helpful. Couple little things … the frig was sprung and cold air escaped. Lost all our frozen stuff and the repairman never did show up. No broom and could have been cleaner. No big problems. Would definitely come back and recommend to others.

Best week of the year 😎
The condo layout was perfect. Open kitchen with breakfast bar. We were poolside with oversized patio. Being beachfront is awesome. We enjoy the water during the day and crab hunting at night.

Great condo
I have to give the condo 5 stars…. Love that we could walk right out to the pool. There was plenty of room for all 8 of us. We were only slightly disappointed that there was no chest of drawers or dresser in the 3rd king room. Yes I said 3rd kind. This condo has 3 kings, 2 queens and a hide a bed. You could see the gulf but not the beach. That’s only an FYI. The walk to the beach is short. The owner pays for your first set of chairs, but the service won’t reserve your spot unless you purchase a 2nd set. Found that a little weird. The owner has additional chairs, umbrellas and beach toys you can use. These chairs are great quality. Was worried they might be the cheap ones, but they were Tommy Bahamas which are very nice! Oh…. Full size washer and dryer! Y’all this is the condo for a family. Loved that we could all sit at the dinning table, watch the grandkids from the patio in the pool and have a big kitchen you can get around in! And y’all…, the beach is prettier than the Alabama beaches. It has been years since I’d been to Ft Walton and had forgotten how beautiful it was. . Rent from Rick!!!

Family Vacation
The Blu condos are in a great location, perfect beach access without being too crowded. We also loved the pools, hot tub, grill, and firepit, they were perfect for our family. Blu is a very well maintained complex, we saw a maintenance worker daily taking care of grill/pools/etc. He was also helpful with questions that we needed answered since he was onsite.
Blu 102 is very spacious and set up well for families. Although overall the condo was clean, there were a few areas that needed attention (laundry area, stains down kitchen cabinets, pudding on drawer pull handle, etc). Despite these minor issues we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful home that we would love to return to
We enjoyed this condo so much! Bright and clean condo with plenty of room for 6 of us. Beds were comfortable and the patio door off the master was great. The patio was very nice and even if we couldn't see the ocean from there, it was a quick walk to the beautiful beach. My only "complaint" was we had to purchase extra toilet paper and garbage bags as there was only one roll per bathroom and only one extra bag. We bought a package of both and obviously couldn't take it on the plane so left it behind. Any other stay such as this had these basic supplies so it is worth noting there is nothing in the kitchen other than dishes and utensils. There is no basic supplies like sugar, salt/pepper etc. Otherwise - an absolutely great place to spend time at the beach!

Perfect for Families
This property is a gem! The first floor entry is super convenient, and you can still see the water from the patio. The direct access to the pool/beach from the patio was amazing. The kids would jump in the pool while we sipped coffee in the morning. All of the amenities were awesome, especially the mattresses...so comfortable! We are already planning our next trip to this lovely property! Oh, and the owners are fantastic and were super to work with. Highly recommend!
