Never sure what to expect when actually arriving, Sandy Toes suited us quite well. Very clean and bright inside and well stocked. Could use a bit of paint outside but would definitely stay there again. Owner was always quick to respond to any questions. Would highly recommend.

The space was perfect! Not only was the layout of the house exactly what we needed, but every possible item we could have wanted was in the house. It’s clear the owner has put tremendous effort into this property, and we absolutely loved our time there. With a public access to the beach just a few minutes (walk) away, we really couldn’t have asked for better. Very, very pleased and grateful!

I’m so happy I opted for this rental. Easy and quick walk to the beach, well stocked with lots of beach essentials. The home is very comfortable with great natural light and was very clean when we arrived! Nice porch with a swing where you can see the sunrise on one side and sunset on the other side.
Easy check in and check out process. Beds, chairs, couches are comfy. Super convenient for families - so nice to not have to lug a highchair, pack and play or kiddo feeding equipment.

The house was clean, and as advertised. The bed slept very well; the kitchen was well stocked; however, we didn't really use it. The location was very nice.
There was a slight musty smell when we first went in, but it seemed to dissipate with the air conditioner running. We did see one palmetto bug and one silver fish but called the property manager and he said he would send someone out to spray. It was a nice relaxing place to stay, and we enjoyed it. We will consider staying again if we return to the area. Thanks

Staying at Sandy Toes was the perfect intro to the Outer Banks for our busy family of four. Perfect location for activities, restaurants or just beach lounging. It really is such a quick walk to the beach and the beach gear provided was great. We’ve rented all sorts of properties through Vrbo from mountain homes to lakes and beaches and Sandy Toes is one of the best. So clean, well appointed and helpful, thoughtful supplies that make your stay easy. We’re already talking about booking again. And don’t forget the great screened in porch for watching the sun come up in the morning.

Not so easy to get to beach. You can see water from house off of the deck. Made the beach sound much closer then it is. your three rows back from ocean. Nice house has all you need and was quite with nice porch to see on.

Super clean, kitchen has everything you need. Property owners are super quick to respond and incredibly helpful. Little bit of a hike to the beach-take that into consideration if you’re not in shape. Only thing I missed was being able to see the beach. Next best thing is sitting on the screen porch listening to the surf. House is well located. Very convenient for activities. Overall would 100% recommend!

This place exceeded our expectations! The kitchen is well furnished with utensils and supplies. Each room is equipped for the comforts of home. We are especially impressed with the cleanliness of the whole house. The neighborhood is quiet. The house is within a 5-10 easy walk to the beach. The strategic location made our visit to Corolla to see the wild horses one day and to the Ocracoke ferry the next without feeling exhausted from the car ride. Owner, Scott was quick to respond to my inquiry even though it was past 9 PM. Appreciate the attention to details by the manager/hosts.

We enjoyed our stay here. It was interesting to bring my own sheets and towels but worked out. Location is close to the beach and easy to get too. It was clean but I am little on the picker side and so could be better. No regrets or concerns!

The property filled our needs. The beds are noisy especially the bunk bed which you could hear even with the door closed. The location is great just a short walk to the beach. The area didn't feel crowded. Smoke detector beeps when you open the bathroom door after showering until the steam dissipates. Took us a while to figure out why it was beeping.
