We loved the location and the ease to get to the slopes. Walking around to shop and eat was so easy. The bus came by frequently to make getting to Vail village a breeze. Everyone was so kind. Our unit was easy to get to and enjoyed the hot tub. Some things in the condo needs some attention and things in kitchen replenished. Overall it was great.

Located a short walk to the gondola, ultra convenient, quiet, peaceful, clean, well equipped. Master bedroom has unfortunately a window that opens onto a shared hallway, but an otherwise excellent experience .

The unit is quite lovely and is in a great location but something’s are worth mentioning. It’s in a building further away from the pool, so you do have to walk across the street to get to the pool. However this unit is very quiet as it’s at the end of a hallway and has a lot of privacy. The second bedroom is very cramped but worked fine for my daughter. Overall it’s very nice and well kept.

If you have nowhere to go this property is somewhat useful. We’ve stayed in other condo in this lodge during the winter with a way better management company, more responsive, similar price, and offering better services.
CONS:
No housekeeping, no cleaning, unless you pay extra.
No robes
TVs do not work. We called few times and no one came to fix them.
You have to clean your trash can on your own.
Awkward layout. Bedroom n 2 is very small
Shower head bedroom 2 does not work well
Very hot inside the condo as there is no air conditioner, just fans.

Useful if you cannot find other places to stay.

Great Location - Summer visit
Was our family's first time to visit Vail and this condo was located to where we pretty much kept our car parked the entire time (we went back country hiking one day and also drove to the Gerald Ford Amphitheater - both short drives). The gym has a peloton bike for any other members out there - I didn't use it since the weather was perfect for running outdoors, but I always like to know when properties have one. It is a small unit, but it worked great for our family of four (our kids are young). Our family enjoyed the unit and being in Vail.

no issues with the property or location, photos 100% accurate, the only issue was when we checked in the management company used by the owner had not informed the building of our booking or arrival , so it took time to resolve.

Excellent Lionshead location
Great condo, updated and clean. Wasn’t treated super well by the Lionsquare Lodge team as we rented through Berkshire Hathaway and the Lodge team told us they wouldn’t service us. Location is fantastic! Hot tub location stinks - your view is a wall. Main building has a much better hot tub. I’ve stayed in MANY Lionshead properties and this is definitely the nicest.

Condo had everything that one needs for ski vacation. However, the decor can use some updating. The second bedroom should be reconfigured as one of the twin beds impedes access into the room.

The facility was lovely, however the space in the second bedroom was very crowded with two beds. Also, some instruction on the operation of the light/fan in the second bedroom would have been helpful The light turned itself on both during the day and at night.

It was hot
If you are planning a summer visit, please be aware there is no AC in this unit. I was surprised to find this out after arriving and a very hot first night. We learned quickly why the unit had so many fans.
Besides this, the pool is amazing, and the location cant be beat. Loved trail access and all of the great restaurants within walking distance.

Great location in Vail - tired condo
Advertised as W/D but the W/D was in the building, not the condo. Furnished with very tired chairs / tables / sofas. Second bedroom poorly laid out - one of the twin beds partially blocks the entrance to the room.

Very cramped
This condo is in an excellent location, but I felt like it was very cramped. I suspect that this was originally a one bedroom condo that was turned into a two bedroom. The main living space is really unusual. There were an odd large number of dining chairs. The second bedroom was super small. The master bedroom had a large piece of furniture that took up a pretty good portion of the room that was unusable and held together by tape. I felt like I way over paid for what we got.

February Ski trip
The location couldn't have been better. All of the resort's staff was so kind and helpful. All the amenities ( hot tubs, pool, shuttle to Vail Village) made the stay that much more enjoyable.

Great place, great location
We really enjoyed the location and the view. The condo was updated. If there was a downside, it was the small common area, but it worked great for us because it was just me and a friend. Practically ski in ski out, just a short walk through a breezeway and you’re at the gondola and chair 8. Great shopping and restaurants just a few minutes walk. Very friendly and helpful ski rental place on the ground floor. Berkshire Hathaway services was constantly checking in via text to make sure everything was going well and quickly responsive to my comments and questions.

Great location
Loved the unit, very well equipped and comfortable. The communication with Berkshire Hathaway was terrible. I called them regarding an issue with the internet and I was not able to get a response. Also their is little communication with lion heads itself since they don’t manage the unit.

Anniversary Get Away
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The location is great. Check in and check out process was easy and convenient. Indoor parking was free. The property manager kept in contact via text and answered any questions promptly. Only negative is that the carpeting is really dirty. That’s why I only gave 4 stars for cleanliness. The rest of the place was great!

Had a wonderful time in Lionshead and within walking distance to vail village. Gorgeous area and lots of outdoor activities! Condo was good but needs new carpet. 2nd bedroom was very small but overall good stay.

Nice kitchen. Nice location. Very dirty-mouse droppings in the dresser, blood on the comforter and quite a few texts and emails about checking out on time.
Very little welcoming, no accountability for the condition of the property. I would suggest just booking directly with Lions Square lodge for a full service experience. This unit was managed by Berkshire Hathaway and not the hotel although the same name
