Our family stayed for 10 days and enjoyed the home. Overall we were very happy with the neighborhood - close to restaurants, shops, and quiet. The house was comfortable, especially the beds. There are several outdoor spaces to relax. Our only drawbacks were that there is no indoor dining table and no desk, so working on a computer or doing zoom calls was challenging. Also, there's no shade on the late afternoon.

This property was exactly as described and all that we wanted it to be. We celebrated our wedding anniversary there with our children and our grandson and our in-laws. Steve was very responsive and helpful in explaining how everything worked.

This house is beautiful, clean and well equipped. We enjoyed the pool, spa and outdoor seating areas so much, that we skipped going to the beach most days.
We had great weather so eating all meals at the outdoor table was fine, but renters should realize there is no large indoor table for family meals.

House was exactly as advertised. It was very clean and Steve was extremely helpful if we had any questions. The neighborhood is beautiful and there’s plenty of nearby shops and restaurants. it was a perfect location. Overall, it was a great experience!

We rented this house for our two kids and their kids. There is ample space for kids to play, adults to have some "quiet" space, outdoor space is fabulous, pool was great for kids and location can't be beat with easy access to all SD attractions and nice views. Steve was our contact and super responsive to any questions/issues. The furnishings and electronics are all up to date and the kitchen is well equipped. It is a premium price property, but delivered on all that was promised. Also, pet friendly which we needed and is hard to find.

This property is the first time for me that a property has lived up to its billing. In fact, it exceeded expectations. Towels, soaps, paper products, etc. were well stocked. Everything we needed as far as cooking ware and utensils was where it should be. The house comes with high end entertainment system's. EVERYTHING WORKED. (Never had that before.) I have stayed in many different properties but this was the best experience by far.

We loved staying at this beautiful property. ALL the best amenities including spa, pool, fire pit, outdoor fireplace, plush beds, and incredible views. We could not have been happier. Would highly recommend this house if you are lucky enough to snag it.

Stayed here with our two kids and grandma. The location is convenient to everything in North County and close to downtown. We've stayed in the area a number of times. The house was well equipped. The pool and hot tub were great. Wonderful outdoor kitchen and dining space. Nicely renovated but not so precious you feel on eggshells in someone's home. Would definitely stay again

I love this home in Del Mar. Such a beautiful property with so much to offer. Absolutely comfortable, we slept so well! Love the outdoor fireplace with heat lamps! Can’t wait to come back! Thank you Steve!

It was a wonderful place for our family to get together. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub immensely. House is stocked well for daily living. Location is so close to the beach and other things to do. Steve was quick to get back to us with our couple of questions.
2 things from our group: Listing says 5 bedrooms in 2 spots but you have to read entire listing description to see that the 5th bedroom costs more, so it really is a 4 bedroom house rental. An easy use manual for using the electronics and pool would be helpful also. Nothing major to detract from our stay though. We loved it! Thank you!

San Diego Pool/Spa House
Great location. Zoo, Del Coronado and all the restaurants we choose within 30 mins or less from the house. Disney Land an hour away. Beach towns a 5 min drive away. House is beautiful with a great kitchen and beautiful bathrooms. Beautiful view of the Pacific and sunsets. Perfect weather. Wonderful time in an absolutely gorgeous home.

Wonderful, Relaxing, and Beautiful!
Our vacation was just wonderful, and the house, grounds, and surrounding areas beautiful! I only have a few suggestions to better the experience. We were a bit put off that the cleaning staff was still there until 6:30 pm the day we arrived. We could not relax or unpack until that time, over two and a half hours late. The house really could stand to be updated/freshened up in the ways of paint, carpet, bathroom counter tops and the like. There were features of the house that were not working like lights outside. Frankly, we thought there were far too many switches, bells, and whistles to work basic things. All in all, though, a really nice vacation. Steve, the host, really worked with us when the downstairs air conditioning wasn't functioning. It was a lovely time.

California Dream Home
The house is great. There were tons of towels, extra blankets, plenty of cleaning supplies. Having two master suites is great. The outdoor area is spectacular with outdoor heaters built in. Sidewalks allow for a safe walk to shops at Flowerhill Promenade. Highly recommend!

Fantastic Stay at a Luxurious Property
Zero complaints or issues. What a beautiful property with a great little touches which really make it feel like a five star resort. Steve was super responsive.
We loved having drinks and watching the sunset every evening. The pool is fantastic and the smart home gadgets were great! Will definitely come back again!

AMAZING AMAZING STAY
I usually do not write long reviews but, for Steve and his property, I will. Steve was accommodating to my party and me from the very beginning, even before we booked the home. There were some issues with VRBO with our initial booking and Steve made sure these issues were taken care of graciously. The property itself was beautiful, even better than the photos! Everything stated in the listing and with the home is all that you can hope for. Indoors is beautiful and the outdoors are magical! If I could give more than five stars I would. Steve is the nicest and best host! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home for a beautiful family Christmas!

Perfect Thanksgiving quarantine getaway
We moved our quarantine bubble to southern CA for 2 weeks at Thanksgiving, and this house provided the perfect setting. Clean, well-stocked, good location, great amenities, lovely outdoor eating, amazing sunset watching, and great space in which to move around. Steve was very helpful and attentive. Highly recommend this property!!!!

Rad house, close to many great amenities, and Steve is 100% a superhost!
We live in a very nice home, and this home was so well-appointed with accessories and first rate finishes...my family didn't want to leave. You will not regret staying in this home, it is first class all the way, and very convenient.

Perfect Summer Get-Away
We had a great week. The house was perfect. Great indoor space for us, gorgeous outdoor areas, beautiful pool. Exactly as advertised. Perfect for a relaxing weekend for four. Also very convenient to grocery stores, dog beaches and other amenities. We’d definitely go back!

Amazing property!
Our family moved our quarantine from Henderson, NV to Del Mar to pretend like we get some sort of vacation this summer and this was the perfect house for it. Our kids had a blast and we thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the property. Would most definitely return.

Fantastic Staycation & Entertaining Home
Needed a temporary place for our family during a kitchen remodel. The house is set up for vacationing and entertaining. Great flow and lots of doors that open up to the amazing outdoor space and views that are fantastic for both kids and adult gatherings, especially during Covid. Steve was super flexible and easy to work with and checked in periodically to see how things were going and to make sure we had everything we needed. It’s also walking distance to the shopping center with lots of eating options. Highly recommend!

An amazing place, that came to our rescue at a difficult time.
We are so grateful for Steve for his flexibility, as we needed to rent a house at the last minute for my family to gather after my father died. We ended up staying at the house for about 9 days, and the house was perfect for us. Everything looked at beautiful as it did in the pictures, and everything worked (heaters, fire pits etc...) as expected. This wasn't a vacation for us, but it was a wonderful place to stay and we felt really comfortable there. Thank you for everything.

Great Experience
This is an extremely well designed and maintained property. Great for our family stay.
Has all the amenities you need to be happy staying in and is in a great location if you want to get out. Views of the Pacific are spectacular. Wonderful outdoor spaces for cooking, eating, swimming and hanging out.
The property owner/manager is extremely responsive and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay.
Very close to a variety of restaurants and shopping and, of course, to the racetrack and the beach.
If you are considering this property, I highly recommend it!

Wonderful Property
This property was even better in person than the pictures. We loved everything about our stay. We spent most of our time in the wonderful outdoor firepit. The sunset views daily were unbelievable. Super comfortable beds. The house was very well equipped for cooking as we hosted a few dinner parties during our stay. Steve was super accommodating, and easy to contact with any questions we had. We will be staying here again when we are in the area!

Phenomenal
I had an unbelievable experience at this rental property. From start to finish, the host was responsive, supportive, and welcoming. The property itself was very impressive. Positioned on the hills of Del Mar, the view of the lagoon, race track, and ocean was beautiful. The large pool, jacuzzi, barbecue area, lawn chairs, fire pit, pool table, and large kitchen were perfect for entertaining. The large living room and bedrooms with walk-in closets made it perfect for large families. I would definitely rent this property again if I were back in the area!
