Right on the beach ----- though weather was not good when we were there. Room spacious and large modern shower room.

The breakfast room was very noisey with a lot of echos !

The location next to the beach was awesome. We had the window open all night, and loved the sound of waves pounding the beach. There is a gate from the hotel to the promenade with great views of the bay. The bathroom is newly refurbished, the breakfast was included, and there was a good selection of food. The staff were very helpful and positive. The hotel is one of many villas along the beach walk, all built in Ribadesella's play day as a destination for the wealthy.

The furniture is a bit dated - but the room was clean, spacious and very comfortable.

Staff and breakfast were superb!

We were very dsappointed that our room view was looking onto the neighboring construction site.

our sea view room was level with the pavement so it was hard to enjoy the view without loss of all privacy. An upstairs room would be better but we weren’t aware until we had arrived.

OMG! What an awesome place! I cannot wait to come back! It was like sleeping on the beach! Honestly, we all have sound effects we sleep to including ocean waves. Here, you get the real deal and if the waves clap just right, you will wake up and remember you are in the closest hotel you can ever legally sleep at next to the ocean. Wow! the waves woke me up but hell, that is heaven. As you lay in your bed, you will see the lighthouse light and now you know you are in heaven. I did not want to leave. awesome place! Oh, has a refrigerator and a bed! Ha! Seriously, a must stay on the Camino. A must stay in life! Thanks! Best hotel on the Camino del Norte! The Best!

Mediocre weather.

Breakfast was fine. Wide variety of breads, cakes and Cheeses, eggs etc. Particularly liked the Spanish omelette.

08.30 is too late to begin breakfast for those of us who want to enjoy a full day out. 08.00 would be a satisfactory start time.

Location is key ... you hear the ocean from the rooms. You are away from the city center so is quiet and perfect for a great rest. The city center is 15min walking crossing a beautiful bridge with amazing views. It is worth the walk and you can digest the wonderful lunch/dinner on your way back. The rooms have been renovated, showers are large and clean. We requested a late check out to be able to do some surfing and it was possible and made our day worth it. It was great.
