Nothing not long enough stay

The house and the room are both spotlessly clean. The room is spacious with an en suite bathroom with all the amenities you need. Both the garden and it's view is stunning - a lot of sheep and chickens. The location is amazing, the bus stop is literally 10 steps away, the train stop is a short 2-minute walk and a taxi can be easily called. Lilia was an amazing host. Welcoming and caring. She really went above and beyond to make our stay in Northern Ireland as comfortable as can be. She made breakfast every day and it was splendid. Her Irish breakfast is really tasty and fulfilling. Everything was perfect!

Excellent choice of fruit and homemade pancakes as well as a full cooked breakfast. Fabulous view of the mountainside and Lilia's Rose garden from our window(room no.2). Only a short distance to Carrickfergus and not too far from Belfast and the North Antrim Coast.

Nothing to dislike.

Excellent breakfast, varied, with a nice wiew over fields, mountains and cheeps. Fox Heaven is an excellent and quiet place to visit Belfast : 2 mn walk from the train station, 2 trains/hour from early morning to 23h30 to join the two main train stations in belfast center in 20mn (45 min to city airport). So you dont need a rental car for your Belfast Visit..

the property was in an ideal location. beautiful surroundings. we stayed there for 3 nights. the train station was less then a 5 minute walk. even though the host lived there. they was very welcoming and done a lovely breakfast (using there own eggs for breakfast). normally we stay in the premier inn when we visit Northern Ireland but not no more. we also had home made muffins with our breakfast 10/10. really clean and well presented. would definitely recommend.

It was great fun playing 'catch' with her :) - secure parking on the driveway - lovely views

The house is absolutely beautiful. My room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. Lilia is a delight, a truly lovely host, so friendly and helpful. Very tasty breakfast, too! Well positioned for access but looking out over the countryside, the location is perfect. I'd definitely come back and would highly recommend the place to others.

Everything here is bliss - the mountain ⛰ view, the nature, the garden, the cleanliness. The host is super friendly and helpful. It's definitely where I'm staying when next I'm in the city.

Our host Lilea was excellent - she cooks a mean breakfast (ask for her egg and bacon sandwich) and she is helpful wrt local knowledge. My partner and I had the room at the top of the stairs which was comfortably furnished with an excellent view. The room overlooked the farmyard/ garden and we could hear the chickens, goats and sheep at various times throughout the day. I enjoyed the sounds but Lilea does offer earplugs if this is not your thing.

The room is equipped with a kettle, mugs, coffee, various teas and biscuits, but no milk. I think this is because we were served fresh farm milk at breakfast (yum) but it would have been nice to make a cup of tea before bed. To be fair, we didn't ask for any and I'm sure Lilea would have been happy to provide.

We truly loved everything about Fox Heaven and it certainly has the name to fit. Not only is it is, 'Fox' heaven for the outstanding prize winning Game Fowl that are resident, each with their unique characters and individual names; but also, 'Heaven' for the delightful surroundings, relaxing atmosphere and stunning views which go past the delightful rose gardens to the front and rear. Our room on the first floor was spacious, very clean and so very comfortable. We had access to the 2 bright and airy lounges on the same floor with stunning views over the green and picturesque scenery to the rear of the house and sea / causeway views to the front. Liliana and Martin welcomed us on arrival and opened their delightful home to us both. Breakfast was of your own choice with anything from a full English / Irish, to cereal / fruit, taken in their country cottage kitchen conservatory. There was a choice of hot drinks with fruit juice and we were even treated to homemade fruited scones one day and Liliana's special Russian pancakes using her Grandma's recipe. A must are the, 'fresh' scrambled eggs and Liliana's take on an open bacon sandwich. This is not just your 'normal' bacon sandwich but you'll have to stay there to find out needless to say it's pure, 'luxury'!!! Liliana even sent us on our way home with Russian pancakes, homemade blackcurrant jam and fresh melon to share with our daughters, and a small gift. Although you are in Liliana's kitchen she will either leave you in peace to enjoy or, as we preferred, chat and make you feel entirely at home. Liliana is a truly beautiful lady with a heart of pure gold. Nothing is too much trouble and she both will go out of their way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. We've already decided to go back very soon before leaving, ie. August / September.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike, in fact this is by far the best Guest House we have ever stayed in.

Better than a 5star hotel, great welcome on arrival, lovely food, friendly people and a lovely playful dog Victoria, so relaxing
