Das Zimmer sollte einen Balkon haben. War extra so gebucht! Aber nicht vorhanden.
Überall im Hotel wird des Frühstück inkl. dessen Zeiten Erwähnt. Bei Nachfrage gibt wird patzig geantwortet, das es das nicht gibt.
Die Dame des Hause war komplett unhöflich und war nicht gut auf Bookingcom zu sprechen.

The hotel is well located. Staff and breakfast was nice. Good service and clean hotel. It is close to a chemical plant but this did not bother me at all. Very quiet and good restaurants close by. I would stay again.

It was an easy walk to the promenade and there were adequate restaurants nearby. This host allowed us to store our bicycles in the garage.
The WIFI did not work in our room and we had to go downstairs in the hallway to access some WIFi. This made it difficult for us to access information we needed to continue on our travels.

Easy walking distance to town centre and Rhine promenade. good pubs and restaurants nearby. Owner Ina was very welcoming.

Quiet comfortable single room. Nice breakfast selection with warm rolls and soft-boiled eggs ready for our chose time. Secure parking for or Motorcycles and a lovely cold bottle of Pils from our very kind host upon arrival. I thought was exceptional given we had had a long ride In 37C heat. Excellent value overall

The room was very clean and well equiped, the bed was very comfy!

The room was clean and big. Location was perfect for us this time. There also was a bottle of water for us.
The shower could be a bit more modern and cleaner, there was a bit of mould on the showerhead. The room though looked pretty clean.

there is nothing I found that I didn’t like. the staff was friendly and helpful. the room had a lot of space. the beds were comfortable and the shower was nice and hot. after a long day this was a great place to stop at. we ordered breakfast too and it was done with care.

Clean, large apartment. Hot shower. Close to promenade and center.
Pity that the clean large apartment was totally offset by the very rude non-English speaking lady who greeted us. We felt very unwelcome, as if our staying there bothered her.
I asked for jam for breakfast and she snarled back that I only had 2 mins before 9h30 and that she had told me that the day before.
Finally I had upgraded to get a queen bed and instead had 2 twin beds set side-by-side. Not a biggie had she been civil.
Would not go back.

Close to the river Rhine, close to town center, good parking, internet. Just very pleasant.

The hotel is a lovely family establishment, more of a guesthouse really; the host was lovely and very helpful and the room was amazing- the biggest room (triple room)we’ve stayed in Germany, with a balcony, table and chairs for at least 4 people and a minibar/fridge. Free parking behind the hotel too, very rare!!
The town of Emmerich has a lovely Rhine promenade just a few minutes walk from the hotel with a few bars, restaurants and ice cream parlours; however, this is where it ends! The town itself is not very appealing and walking around the town we felt a little on edge as we encountered quite a few ‘dubious’ characters. I think we have been spoilt by other pretty, old riverside towns- this isn’t one of those. Shame the hotel is located here really. The industrial plant at the side of the hotel doesn’t add to the charm either, but this isn’t the worse part of the town!!
