The location was good, right in centre of Mairoi. Lots of kitchen utensils and pans to cook.

Our room smelt very strongly of smoke. The wifi didn’t reach our room very well. For the price it was okay, shower was very small but room was spacious enough. Also wouldn’t hang your washing to dry on the balcony there is rust or something dripping from above, all of our clothes were stained bright orange when we got back from a day out. Also to note public transport in the area is shocking, all the buses are full whether you want to head Salerno way or Amalifi/Positano way and no one will stop. We waited at the bus stop 2 hours before having to get a 120eur taxi to Positano.

Excellent location (shops, restaurants, bus stop and beach 1-2 min walk, port 5 min walk), well equipped room with a kitchenette, friendly host Massimo gave us very useful tips and helped us make the most of our short stay. Highly recommended!

The apartments are located very close to the beach and with several supermarkets and restaurants within walking distance. The bed was comfortable and the shower had good water pressure. A big bonus is the free parking directly at the apartments. The response of the personnel on any questions was good and friendly.

Facilities within the apartment are a bit outdated, but we saw that on another floor modernisation of the apartments was in progress. The communication at the reception was sometimes a bit difficult, as not everybody spoke English very well. However, they were always friendly and willing to help.

We got a very nice 2-room apartment on the top floor facing the backyard (it is important as the noise from the street may be rather disturbing). The apartment had everything we needed and the air-conditioning was very effective. The staff didn't speak much English but was very helpful and attentive (we asked for an extra cup and someone went directly to a shop and brought it almost immediately). The location of the property is just 100 meters from the beach and the view from the common terrace is stunning. And as an extra bonus you get free parking in the backyard!

It would have been better if the light bulbs in the rooms were not that ultra-cold white kind. Warmer and more yellowish ones would have made the whole atmosphere much cozier.

Perfect location, beautiful view

We booked this apartment because of the free parking available and this is a real bonus for any visitor to the Amalfi coast (don't underestimate this extra facility!) . We were visiting well out of season, so there was plenty of space for our mid size car, however you'd need a small car to fit in during the summer. Our apartment had a lovely sea view and location was perfect. The hotel are doing up some of their rooms at the moment on the first floor and these will probably be great when finished for 2020 summer season. Kitchen facilities good, plenty of hot water for showers, comfy bed.

As other travellers have commented, the couch in our room was tired and a little grubby looking, and uncomfortable - this was the main negative and in the end we just didn't use it - changing this and a few small updates would greatly improve the look and feel of the room. The outer electric shutters in our bedroom were very difficult to open - they only opened 1 day out of 3 !
