Mark met us at the Guesthouse and showed us to our room. Stunning view and the property exceeded our expectations. No breakfast was provided but the rooms and bathroom were cleaned, and dirty crockery removed. Very comfortable beds and best coffee ever! And the location is superb. Will definitely stay at Bay View Guesthouse again in the future.

Attitude & manner of staff member (felt uncomfortable). She seemed uninformed about my booking and had a distrustful attitude throughout. The atmosphere was not warm and welcome.

Very well located in Somerset West Heldervue neighborhood. Spacious property with well-appointed common room with wonderful views of the Mountains and Ocean. Owner is helpful and courteous.

It's got far better views of the bay than the large and we'll known hotels in the area. It's very quiet for a business person, close to essential amenities, very neat, nice people and professionally run. I'm so glad I chose it above going to a hotel.

perfect spacious family room with safe parking and nice view. very friendly and helpful host who’s flexibility and good communication made us feel very welcome and allowed us to fully enjoy our stay. no breakfast on the premises but well equipped kitchenette in the room with good tea and coffee options.

Our rooms were located on the ground floor. It was perfect because we were with our kids
and older parents. The view from the guest house is gorgeous!

We loved the location and the layout of the room, the decor, the comfort of the bed.
Really appreciated our welcoming landlord.
We would have liked more comfortable chairs at the little table. The current ones are very upright and caught us in the upper back in an uncomfortable way. Cushions didn’t really help.
