This property is perfect for a family vacation. It is clean and has everything that you can imagine. The owners are super friendly and always available if you need anything. We had a fantastic Christmas holiday and we hope to come back:)

Look, Anna and Lauri are so nice hosts! They helped us with everything. They gave us skis and snowshoes to explore the surroundings. Lauri prepares great ski tracks to explore on the lake and in the forest; and there are even more, just ask him to show you on the map! We stayed in the Villa Ruoho (https://www.laplanddream.fi/villa-ruoho). And we were two parents, four kids at ages 16, 13, 8 and 2 and a gramdma. We had even space to spare! This villa easily can host even 9-10 people! You don't need to drive anywhere. All of the days of our stay we spent in the house or its vicinity. We travelled for a week in the mid of February 2022 and although it was quite cold outside on some days, we loved the location so much! It is so quiet and beautiful. Winter makes this place like from a fairytale. The house is equipped well, you will have your own sauna, a cozy fireplace with stocked firewood, fully equipped kitchen, washing machine and drier. The house has also heated floor and is very cozy even when the temps outside drops to -25 C. We had excellent internet connection! All in all, we enjoyed our stay not only because of the great location but also because of the great hosts. Thank you, Anna and Lauri!

While remoteness is something that is really nice, there is a price for that. For example, to stock up the food you need to drive something like half an hour. So it would be better to make groceries before you arrive, if your car allows to carry all the baggage and groceries. The roads are good, don't worry. Oh and that lamp above the small table in the living room - I bumped my head like 5 times :) Haha. But this is probably only me. :D

We loved everything! The property is very well equipped, its spacious and location is perfect for a peaceful holiday! We are a family with two children and certainly missed nothing from the property and hosts. Ski trails start from the yard and the property offers its guest skis and snowshoes. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful

Everything you needed was available, from sheets and towels to morning coffee and coal for the grill. The house was equipped with Finnish products and design and everything held high quality, no IKEA. The property was beautiful and a few members of our group enjoyed the wooden sauna and a swim in the lake. The host Anna was very helpful and responsive with helpful tips for activities. All in all this ticks all the boxes, it really is a Lapland dream!

The mosquitoes 😉 we were visiting in the end of June just when mosquito season started. Even though the windows were equipped with mosquito nets the small buggers still managed to get in somehow. After the second night we however figured out that our room was quite well ventilated even if we had the window completely closed.
