They got us discounted rentals and lift pass.

I found the bed hard but I asked for a futon to put on it, and it was comfortable with the futon.

トイレが共用であり、トイレに行きたい場合は１回部屋の外に出ないといけなかった所です。

Quiet and close to everything

The internet was extremely slow could not stream Netflix.

Amazing location, about 2 minutes walk maximum to the gondola. 4-5 minute walk to a lovely public onsen with an outdoor area. few minutes walk to restaurants in the area. The host lady was phenomenal, so helpful, kind and friendly. She recommended to get a taxi from the stop before Yamagata as we traveled Friday night and there was no buses. Booked our taxi and it was very cheap. Room was comfortable and we enjoyed the Kotatsu in the room. Hot bath area was fine :).
