Cottage was lovely but cold because of the Antarctic weather front. We sorted that out with the reverse cycle Air conditioning first night and log fire second night. Site is amazing with glorious views. Road up is very steep - just for info. We arrived in the dark - could have been disappointing, but we saw so many wombats, wallabies and kangaroos as a result - wonderful!

One side of the electric blanket doesn't work in the en suite bedroom - lights up but doesn't heat. Made it a cosy/squashed sleep!

Great stay. The location of the cottage was amazing. Being in the middle of nature surrounded by wildlife. Perfect to switch off after a busy year. Have to come back one day. The cottage had everything that you would need - even WiFi was provided.

absolutely astonishing every time of day view on faraway valley and ideal location for people who appreciate solitude and calmness of the time spent in such a beautiful mountain place.

nothing I would have complained about, but one who can’t live without novaday communications has to be warned the mobile reception is not the greatest in this remote place. we had 3G most of the time there. wifi was seemed broken down on second day of our stay. hopefully it’ll be improved.

Cleanliness and comfort levels were poor

Comfortable cottage set high up in the valley with magnificent views and total peace and quiet. Bring your supplies and there’s no need to leave!! Great to disconnect, relax and just be. Highly recommended.

Nothing we didn’t like, but more to be aware of a couple of things.... there is no internet, and for me very spotty phone signal - we were told there is no internet so it was not a surprise, but it’s easy to forget that it’s not just emails you cannot access! Kangeroo Valley is close but the road back down to the village is pretty narrow - more a track so it takes a little longer than it seems on the map. Worth the privacy of the cottage, but just to be aware.
