Too long check in and paying separately for restaurants and spa- no option to put all on the room (you always need to carry cash or card)

You should be aware they would ask 200 pl zl per day as the deposit. And it is not written on booking. They asked additional 800 zloty for the sea view but you actually can't see the sea because of trees between the beach and the hotel! They dont have a sea view! It cost 200 EUR per night, it is not worth this money. I dont understand, at least they could have upgraded to give us a room with a balcony. The bath robe was torn...they position as 5 stars but the staff does not even speak proper English and no customer skills. They do have free rooms on our floor with the balcony but they did not give us...sorry but will never return. Poor service. We had a feeling the charge for every single thing.

Excellent hotel, very clean and friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast we received was outstanding. I was collecting a new puppy and they were able to accommodate my request of having a puppy with me. I have booked again to stay in 2 months time.

The interior of the rooms was lovely. It is was a nice touch that there were robes for each of us; even a small one for my four year old! The breakfast buffet had a large assortment of food. We also ate in the restaurant one night, and it was delicious. The proximity to the beach was perfect, and there is a little snack shop just next store to grab a few things to eat on the beach.

The hotel was fully booked the weekend we were there and it was obvious. Parking was crowded, the hallways were crowded and masks were only required in the dining area. We were extremely uncomfortable with that option. The hallways are narrow and you were much too close to someone else to not be wearing a mask. Additionally, the staff seemed harried and overwhelmed. While it is wonderful that they have an indoor pool and toys in the playroom, the pool was dirty and many of the toys broken. It just feels that they don't have enough staff to keep up with everything for the number of people that are staying at the hotel. Lastly, their check-in process is a nightmare. It took each person at least 5-10 minutes to check-in and resulted in people waiting a ridiculous amount of time. Further, the check-in area is small and in the middle of a walkway to the beach.

Restaurant and bar staff are exceptional, food is some of the best in Kołobzreg. Make a real effort to speak to me in English, feel welcome and nothing too much trouble. Location is right next to the beach, parking on site, generally clean and well presented throughout the hotel. Pool and spa facilities are good.

Front of house staff are not that welcoming and this is the third time we have stayed, always been the same and a shame for a 5 star hotel. No ironing faculties in the room and the ironing room needs updating or repairing.
