You can enjoy a beautiful view of the volcano from their rooftop.

The room is spacious but could be cleaner. The staff was helpful but could smile more.

noisy in the morning, construction guy banging on the wall at 6:30 am and cleaning lady listening to music at 8 am ,

we weren’t able to use the kitchen which isn’t great especially when you are long term travelling. It was also more expensive on booking.com than at the place itself.

The owner was really friendly and had a decent level of English. She was also very helpful and booked us a moped for the day ($15 USD). The hammocks and terraces were also a nice touch.

The property was about a 15 walk away from the port. The room was a bit dated and could have done with a bit of refurbishment. My partner got so,e really bad food poisoning from some dodgy fish, so our experience would have been a bit more pleasant if the room was a bit more up-to-date. On a separate note, we met a few other travellers that got sick from the fish on the island, so be careful (this is nothing to do with the property so not part of our rating). The A/C was an extra $10 per night which was a bit annoying, but it seems to be standard practice in Nicaragua. The was also a surcharge to use the kitchen.

The staff was nice.

Not very social.

I stayed at hotel Casa Moreno for one night and I enjoyed it. Great staff and very good location. The breakfast was available, renting bikes and other things were available too. Staff was great help and could some English but we spoke Spanish mostly. The courtyard was wonderful place to take breakfast. I would stay here again. I liked the balcony which has a perfect view of the Volcano Conception.

it was very warm in the dorm - fans didn´t help that much, unfriendly owner, very expensive laundry service (wouldn´t recommend), although I ordered my breakfast very early to have enough time to reach the ferry, all the rich local weekend guests from Managua got their breakfast first before myself; WiFi didn´t work in the dorm most of the time, only outside, very annoying

Very clean place. The balcony was great and location wise it’s quiet, yet close to main things in the town of Moyogalpa. The lady advised us a good place to eat. Overall a good and comfortable place to stay.

Beds were a bit hard. The exchange rate dollars/cordoba was strange (tip: better to pay in dollars!). Would be good if they would install mosquito nets in the windows, so you can sleep with the window open (there is a ventilator though).

very friendly staff - one of them immediately brought me a glass of cold water, as it was hot walking the 800m from the ferry. They rented me a scooter with no trouble at all, and the breakfast was good. The places to sit were pleasant, and the view from the top balcony lovely.

This was a nice place to stay The room was huge and it’s quite convenient for the town, I didn’t have long in Ometepe. If you have longer o would reccomend staying in a more remote earlier but this was extremely convenient

This place felt more like a hotel than a hostel so harder to meet people

I like the balcony, the hamacas , the staff very kind, and also the room on the second floor, allow me to sleep with the windows open .

Nice, clean place very close to the ferry. Good internet and good staff. Great value for money.

They don't have insurance for they scooters. Somebody broke my rearview mirror while I was visiting a reserve. I had to pay for the demage in cash although I have insurance.
