Such a nice and comfortable little cottage to stay in! Nice hammocks on the terrain to chill. Also: the food! Very good dinner and breakfast. People were very friendly and very easy communication in English.

Amazing safari and safari guide

The facility is cool and it is located near the elephant transit home (about 7 min). We took a halfday safari tour. It was great. I suggest to have this experience if you don't hurry. It starts at 6 am and finishes at 1 pm. You will explore the udawalawe national park on the jeep (toyota hilux). The breakfast will be arranged in the park. The price for this tour is 70 dollars per person. It is absolutely worth it. Owners are hospitable and polite. You may also ask to wash your clothes. The breakfast and dinner are awesome with a big portion.

The standard shared food too bland, but realise this is done for the majority and once we asked they cooked us great traditional curries.

We stayed here for just 1 night, but it was perfect. The owners were so welcoming, they arranged an AMAZING Safari in their jeep alongside 2 other guests. This was really good value and our driver was great at spotting the animals yet respected the animals and their space. We paid for a lovely buffet dinner where the owner had created a variety of tasty dishes and breakfast also enabled us to try a traditional Sri Lankab sweet breakfast. They were incredibly kind and let us use the room past the official check out time while we waited for our taxi. The guest house is also a close walk to the elephant transit home which was a plus too!

The couple that own it are lovely, the food was delicious- we recommend the buffet dinner. Good aircon which you will need and a fridge to keep water cool. The dining area and the whole place in general were pretty.

The owners were incredibly kind and served an amazing homemade Sri Lankan buffet dinner (including dessert!) for only $5. They arranged a safari with their driver who was very diligent in trying to spot as many animals as possible. Overall, great value and a wonderful spot from which to explore Udawalele National Park!

Loved the hospitality and casual nature of this small family run business who were affected like all by the pandemic. The food was amazing and a nice change from all the fried dinners I have been eating. Nisala has attention to detail and this place was excellent value for money. They arranged a 4 hour safari for us where we saw a lot of elephants, birds and 2 mangooses. There was AC and a fan, mosquito net etc… I was very comfortable.

A very warm welcome with a drink and all the informations we needed for our stay. Its a small beautiful place very central, busstation and the elephant transit home easy to reach by walking. we did book the early morning Safari with the resort and everything ws working perfectly on time. Also i would recommend you to eat in the resort dinner! the food was delicious from a buffet for a very good price.

Very nice place with kind and helpful hosts. Sri-Lankan breakfast and dinner have a good taste and invited juice was very pretty surprise. Close to the elephant place, hope that back to this place again. If you need hosts can organize safari for the guests.

OH MY GOODNESS I cannot emphasise enough how lovely our stay was in this small rural idyll. We were the only people staying in the resort during our visit and we had everything catered for perfectly. The incredibly kind owners treated us to a delicious home cooked buffet which was by far some of the best food we ate on our trip. we organised a safari trip with the resort and it was perfect - the guide knew so much about the flora and fauna of the national park and we really got our money’s worth. Could not recommend this entire experience more.

We stayed there for 2 nights. This resort with 3 beautiful and clean bungalows is run by a super nice young couple. They also arranged the safarl for a reasonable price for us. You can book the dinner option without any concerns. First there is not that much arround but also second it is very delicious! We would describe it as local authentic Sri Lankan food suitable for Europeans and Americans (not too spicy ;) ) All the best to the owners!

We had a great stay at Green view safari resort. We were welcomed with a drink and early check in. The bungalow was perfect for our needs and very clean and tidy with good Air- con. The lovely couple who own the place were so welcoming. We had a superb home cooked evening meal with choice of 4 curries. Good mini bar choice also. They arranged a brilliant safari for us which was great value and with a really knowledgeable driver. We highly recommend for a 1 or 2 night stay.

We received a very friendly welcome. There was a welcome cocktail right away. The room was even air-conditioned on our very warm arrival day. The room was very clean and comfortable. We had booked half board and breakfast and dinner were fresh and tasty. The family was available all the time and very friendly and helpful. We felt very comfortable and can highly recommend a stay there

I have only good things to say about this place. Very good price and super serviceminded hosts. Walking distance to the mainstreet but still very calm which we liked.

The couple that owned this hotel were so lovely. The room was big and clean and they brought us delicious welcome drinks.
