Damos la bienvenida a este lugar mágico al caer en cascada las cascadas de agua, también conocidas como Dad's Place, creando un sonido relajante que seguramente eliminará todas sus preocupaciones. A solo 5-10 minutos de todos los restaurantes y tiendas locales en Boone. A solo 15-20 minutos del centro de Blowing Rock. Our cabin for 2 was just what we needed. The location was on the creek and we spent most of our time on the deck, playing cards, cooking and eating and just enjoying the beauty and sounds of the creek. Short drive to Blowing Rock and the Blue Ridge Parkway, where we took the Southern route. Loved all the breathtaking overlooks, hiked to Linville Falls and ended up at Hwy 221 where we enjoyed our favorite meal at Famous Louise’s! !

Used to have a home in Colorado but had to sell due to high altitude. Checking Boone out to see how the weather is in the summer time. Very impressed with the area. Has lots of activities to offer. Property was as advertised and we especially enjoyed the bubbling creek out the back door. House was a great location to Boone. Very clean. Every thing you need in the kitchen. We definitely will be back.

What a delightful stay we had at this gem of a cabin. It was just right! The gorgeous mountain stream and hot tub on the deck were perfect ways to reconnect with the mountains in a place convenient to town that conveys a feeling of remoteness.

Dad’s Place was wonderful getaway for us. The place was clean cosey and the constant roaring of the water soothed our mind and body. “Loved it” and can wait to come back early spring and summer.

The bed was a little squeaky also. The hot tub was small but comfortable for 2 people. The back yard has a firepit, well stocked with wood. Rustic and a great get away
My wife and I were looking for a quiet and pleasant get away.
We found a real jewel. Close to every thing in Boone.(with in 5 minutes) The water falls are so relaxing and soothing. Very simple cabin and thanks to very small tv, we didn't waste our time watching it. Able to read and relax and appreciate each others company. Recommend it highly!

Beautiful view but not great stay
We wanted to love our time at this cabin, but it was quite outdated, the AC did not work for our entire stay, and the grill grates were completely rusted out. The view and sounds of the creek were wonderful though. We would loved to have stayed here again, but we will find a different place when traveling to Boone on our next trip.

Comfortable. Relaxing. Close to many opportunities for exploration.
We were celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary. It was very comfortable. The hot tub so relaxing. The constant cascade of the creek soothing while having morning coffee and outdoor dining with no mosquito intrusions. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Photos were a little miss leading
The cabin was very nice. The photos made it look more secluded. The other 3 cabins on top of us was not very romantic for our anniversary. I know there’s a lot to do, but the TV was 12” and hard to watch. Was just a little Disappointed. I’ll do more research next time.
