The Olivers Guest House is going to be a beautiful property. The room I had was excellent. Certainly one of the most comfortable beds and pillows I have found in a hotel anywhere. It was scrupulously clean and recently decorated. There is an excellent selection of channels on the TV including Netflix and Prime. WiFi is good though a little cumbersome to connect to via phone. The hosts were very welcoming and hardworking, doing most of the redecorating themselves.

Unfortunately, my stay coincided with the beginning of renovation works by the new owners which meant the kitchen was out of use, so no breakfast. The confirmation from Booking.com did not mention this, and most of the current sites on which you can book don’t mention it either, so be aware you may have to find breakfast elsewhere. My room was on the second floor, so wouldn’t suit those with mobility problems, and the water pressure was quite low - something the owners are planning to improve, but it had a pleasant view across North Hereford. There were no chairs in my room, just a stool, and it would be improved by the addition of at least an office chair so that anyone working away could continue. I didn’t see any USB ports, but they will probably arrive during the refurbishment.

The Oliver's guesthouse, was actually being refurbished where we have breakfast. The first morning, we got £10.00 ea; because they couldn't do breakfast that day. So my son and I had breakfast in town. Cath, (the owner), said that they'll be ready by the following day. I told my son, there breakfast are top notch. I normally give Chris and Cath a big 10. But I've given them a 9. But it's still good value for money. the owners and staff, brilliant. They were ready the following day.

Breakfast room was impeccable. Enjpyed breakfast and ambience. Good value for money . Would stay again.

If the shower room could have been allocated to the one room. Clear instructions on parking..

The location is good. Only a 10 minute walk to the city center Rooms were surprisingly big and clean with a good view out of the window
