Just like all the other reviews say. The house, location, check in and communication with the owners are all great. Particularly ideal is the late checkout. I have a family of 8 and getting packed up and out of a house by 9am-10am like a lot of properties want now a days is a major challenge sometimes. I wouldn't look anywhere else for a stay in Laconia.

We went in March for a ski / snowboard trip and chose this cabin due to the proximity to Gunstock Ski Area (11min drive). We very much wanted an outdoor hottub which this cabin has (fits 6). The hottub seemed brand, was very clean, modern and had great features like lights in the water and multiple jet settings. The hottub area is also in an area on the back deck that provides plenty of privacy. Also, there are lights along the roof line of the back deck area that were a nice touch once we found the remote to control them.. The cabin is beautiful on the inside. Downstairs you walk in to a dining room to your left, kitchen on your right, and living room straight ahead. The kitchen has many plates, glasses, silverware, and a corkscrew among other things included. There wasn't no dishwasher but we did not mind washing our own dishes. There are two bedrooms down the hall to the right past the kitchen which are good size each with lage enough beds for two. One room even had an additional fold out mattress in the closet that could work for one person. There was a heat zone thermostat in one of the rooms for that area. Another thermostat was next to the living room area. The living room has two couches. One was slightly larger than the other (think 3 couch cushions and 2 couch cushions). We noticed thr larger is actually a pull out bed as well if needed. Plenty if pillows and even blankets in the foot rest. The gas burning fire place in the living room was easy to use and kept us cozy as we watched a movie and played some card games. That's right, we found some games in the upstairs closet in the hallway. There are two full bathrooms with one on each floor so people can be showering at the same time if necessary. The upstairs bedroom is where we slept. I would consider it the master. In that bedroom is a large bed as well as a set of bunk beds. We actually noticed a cute area that was set aside with an additional small mattress perhaps suitable for a young child. There was a washer and dryer on the first floor for laundry as well. The WiFi worked great and the cabin comes with Netflix on the TV in the living room and master bedroom. You can login to other streaming services as well but be sure to log out when you're done. There are plenty of well written easy to follow instructions with pictures for how to use all of the features the cabin offers but the owner is also very responsive if anything should arise. Super close to the lake and hiking as well.

Our family of 6, including 4 kids (4-11), had an amazing time. Close to Gunstock with nearby access to restaurants and grocery stores. The house was super clean with nice amenities to keep the kiddos entertained! They were sad to leave. Looking forward to staying again the future!

I rented this cabin for my friends and I. We wanted a nice place to stay for a ski trip, and this cabin fit the bill! It was so cute and cozy. We were able to all hang out, play games and enjoy the hot tub. And the hosts were so accommodating! Would 100% stay here again!

We had a great weekend at "Winnipecabin" with our close friends and found it was the perfect place for relaxing! We took a short drive to Twin Barns Brewing to enjoy great drinks and live music. Cold nights made for perfect hot tub weather back at the house. Winnipecabin felt nice and comfy inside as well for watching movies and playing games in front of the nice stove! Exactly the winter getaway we hoped for. Thanks Wendi & Bobby!

This cabin is amazing! My husband and I needed a mini vacation to just get away for a little bit and this was perfect! The cabin was super clean and everything was perfect!!

We had a really nice time in the area. Local breweries, the hot tub, and sitting by the stove were exactly what we wanted.

My friends and I were looking for a nice log cabin for a birthday weekend getaway and we were not disappointed! Everything was as described, the pictures don’t do the cabin justice. It was clean, easy to access, close to restaurants/attractions and it was easy to contact the host. I would recommend staying here for a log cabin feel with modern amenities. I like to visit different locations and don’t usually stay at the same place twice but I would stay here again in the future!

We would stay again! Went with our family, including two year old son. The property was perfect for all ages. We loved the hot tub and our son loved the cozy kids “bear den.” I loved the hot tub and outdoor lighting. Thank you to wonderful hosts/owners for being responsive and kind.

3 busy moms spent the weekend in NH to get away for a short time. Winnipecabin was cozy, welcoming, and so close to many activities. We were able to sight-see, shop, hike, and enjoy time at the cabin during our short visit. It was also very easy to settle into the cabin with all of the clear and convenient communication from the hosts. We've already talked about staying in this cabin again. We'd come back in a heartbeat! Thank you to our hosts for offering exactly what we needed this weekend!

Beautiful home,spotless,beautiful surroundings… only 2 minor complaints… when we arrived dryer was filled with sheets and towels… didn’t feel it was our responsibility to fold them and the smoke detector would not shut off!!! Every 8 hours we had to disconnect it because it kept going off….. all week long!!!! Even in the middle of the night!!!

We enjoyed a quick spring getaway to this great place. Perfect for our family of 4. Kids enjoyed the cabin themed decorating, the bear den, hot tub, yard games and quick bike rides and walks to the lake. Thanks for a great stay and for making everything so easy!

We can’t say enough about this charming cabin. Plenty of room for 6 adults plus kids. Convenient to all of the Weirs beach attractions located less than 10 minutes away. Excellent owners to work with and we will be repeat renters.

The cabin was fantastic! The ambience was beautiful and the house was clean. The hot tub was an amazing addition and we definitely recommend it!

The cabin was perfect! Wendi was such a pleasure talking to and was super helpful! We loved our time here so much we even stayed an extra night! It was quite, warm/cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend away. We can't wait to come back this summer!
