The Excellent: - Most comfortable bed we've ever had at a B&B stay! - Fantastic 1 block walk to beautiful Beach with provided towels, chairs AND suntan lotion is a godsend since we didn't want to bring that packed! - Full sized fridge with washer/dryer came in handy and worked great! - Everything was VERY clean when we arrived-- downright spotless! - The 2 welcome gifts were a nice surprise and gratefully used! The Good: - Mostly quiet location. NO ROOSTERS heard which is a feat in Hawai'i. There were children playing outside in the afternoons but it quieted down after dark. - Plenty of kitchenette supplies to use including welcome zipper bags (quart and gallon sized) and even the paper plates were welcome! Only thing we found lacking was a measuring cup but I believe that will be rectified for future guests. - Our host was very quickly responsive to when we noticed 1 item missing (a Kleenex box) which was rectified within minutes! Towards the end of our stay a lightbulb burnt out and I texted when we left that morning about it and it was all fixed by the time we returned! - Our host was not constantly checking on us and we essentially rarely saw her which I find very nice-- just left us to enjoy but was there if we had questions! The only bad: - getting used to footsteps from above, kitchen noises and wonderful cooking smells. OVERALL just a great stay. I could care less about the dated interior others mentioned because everything functioned and was part of the charm

Andrea has put much thought and effort into outfitting her studio so that your stay is warm, welcoming, easy and memorable. The closet is stocked with umbrellas, grocery bags and snorkeling gear. The bathroom has essential products available (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, bug spray, beach towels and even sun care products {pre and post exposure}. The kitchen has enough amenities to make simple meals (microwave, hot plate, cutting boards, bullet blender, toaster and a large fridge/freezer). The bed is super dreamy!!! Yes, you may hear some activity from the main house, but it's not a big disruption (ear plugs work fine). The location is fabulous...off street parking, a very short walk to a gorgeous beach and very private setting. The coffee and chocolate macadamia nuts that welcome you are the cherries on top! Thank you Andrea for such a wonderfully memorable stay in Kailua!!

We had a lovely stay. The place had just about everything we needed. It is clean and in a quiet neighborhood as mentioned and just minutes from the beach. Andrea is very friendly and accommodating. The only thing that fell a little short of our expectations was the occasional noise from the main house during off hours which sounded like it was mainly kids. Other than that this a wonderful place and we would love to come back again. Mahalo Angela for the aloha welcome!

One Block from the Kailua Beach!!! Less than 30mins to Waikiki, Honolulu, Pearl Harbor. Andrea (Host) was very accommodating, helpful, and nice. The place is clean, roomy, and the bed is very comfortable. It was a great trip!!! Would definitely book again.

Spacious room with a really comfy bed. 1.5 blocks from awesome Kailua beach in a quiet neighborhood. Everyting we needed for fun at the beach was provided. i.e. boogie boards, beach towels and chairs. Furnishing was little dated, but all were clean and everything worked. Communication as to the location of the house could've been better. Didn't get phone comms, so had to walk around the neighborhood a bit to find the actual house.

We had a great experience staying here. The owner was great. She was very flexible with us. Location was great only a block away from the beach. Off street parking is a huge bonus. Absolutely would recommend Andrea’s house to anyone looking for a nice studio.

I cannot thank Andrea enough for her hospitality and for letting us stay in her beautiful studio. Andrea was very flexible, approachable and welcoming. The apartment very spacious and comfy for 2 people, came with an enclosed yard and BBQ grill. Full size fridge came very handy for storing all the ice cream and cold drinks we consumed during our stay. Bed was nice and soft and curtains thick enough to block out the light, we definitely slept really well. The washer/dryer that came with the unit was such a gem, helped us go home with freshly laundered clothes. Andrea even had umbrellas prepared for her guests for those unexpected rainy days! Thanks to her, we finally got to explore Kailua and Kaneohe on our 4th trip to Oahu! Mahalo!

Andrea’s place is perfect! It’s closer to the restaurants and the beautiful beaches. She was very welcoming and check in process was smooth.

We wanted to experience Ohau away from the crowds and was so happy we did. We chose this listing due to its walking distance to the beach and location on the east side of the island. The hosts were very gracious and checking in and out was nice and easy. It was nice to be greeted with some complimentary coffee and chocolate covered macadamia nuts upon arrival. We really wanted to stay somewhere that would give us the feel of what it might be like if we lived here, and that is exactly what we got. It was really nice to have a washer/dryer and full size utility sink along with an assortment of things we could take to the beach for entertainment. A full assortment of towels and sun protection and skin care products were available, and the space included a nice private patio. We enjoyed all the things the island had to offer, but also really enjoyed our downtime here at the rental and we’re able to relax and just enjoy the local area. We feel like we got good value for our money and would stay again without hesitation.

We always enjoy staying at Andrea Kailua's property. This is our 5th time staying with her. We have everything that we need to enjoy our Hawaii trip at this large studio unit. There's a nice size place to cook both indoor and outdoor, laundry area, relaxing 2 recliners, firm & comfortable bed, and large closet/storage. There're also boggie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkeling gear, beach/grocery bags at the unit. We already made our future plan to come stay at Andrea's property again. We can't wait to enjoy our time there again.

We loved staying here! It was SO clean, I couldn’t believe how pristine everything was! It’s location was perfect as well, within walking distance to a beautiful beach and other beaches were just a short drive away. The room was very quaint and coastal cozy! I would definitely come back and stay here!
