we stayed in Playa Flamingo for 3 weeks and had a wonderful stay, the views are second to none from each floor. the pools were warm and had lots of space for people The condo had everything as mentioned, however could have used some pictures and things to make it more Costa Rican and give it a homey feeling. The area had lots of monkeys and Croti's wandering around during the morning. There is a very nice beach only 5 minutes away which we spent plenty of time at, beach chairs were provided but need replacing. The ocean water was warm and not many rocks which made it so inviting. The road into the Condo was an adventure and not as bad as I had been lead to believe. I would highly recommend the Area and this unit to others who want the best view in the area.

This condo is absolutely stunning with a perfect view of the bay. The space is so large and perfect for a family. The multiple balconies make for beautiful jungle, water and sunset viewing. The kitchen is well stocked with all accessories you may need. The appliances were all wonderful and the inclusion of a washer and dryer was wonderful. The staff on the property was helpful. Communication with the host was very easy and quick. Maria was helpful in any area needed. I would highly recommend this property to anyone traveling to beautiful Flamingo Bay.

The best thing about this place is the view! If you are looking for some solitude and a great view then this is definitely what you are looking for. Unfortunately we came after a decent rain and the road to the property was a bit of a nightmare every time we ventured out. If you are looking for wildlife, it’s not here, but you can book excursions for that. We had a wonderful time!

After having to reschedule earlier in the year (due to COVID) we were so happy to finally make it to Costa Rica. After hopping off the red eye flight, then experiencing the potholes along the drive, we pulled off onto the bumpy gravel road up to the place and I started to feel concern about the location I booked. It seemed secluded and I thought travelling that road multiple times would not be desirable. However Maria was great about setting us up to arrive early and be greeted at the place by the cleaner. The place is spacious and beautiful, and our kids immediately hit the pool and searched out the iguanas on the property. We stayed 7 nights and by the end of the week the road was not a concern. Every day we planned an activity away from the place (everything was within a 5-25 minute drive), then ended the day with pool time and sunsets on the balcony. A lot of our friends said Tamarindo was the place to book but we much preferred Playa Flamingo. We visited about 5-6 beaches while we were there and our favorite by far was Flamingo beach which is right down the hill from this VRBO. It has the best soft white sand and less people selling stuff. Our kids loved using the boogie boards that were included with the rental. Although the balcony is amazing to watch the sunsets, you MUST go watch the sunset while on Flamingo beach at least once during your stay! A really cool moment was when we saw 20+ monkeys in the trees right behind the property! Maria was very responsive to any issues we had. The king size bed was pretty uncomfortable and when we let her know that she delivered a brand new mattress topper within a day. That made all the difference. The property had times without water which didn’t impact us too much due to the plans we had, however if we had been around more often it possibly could have. One time was a 1/2 day outage; the other times may have just been when they were filling the pool. The air conditioning was wonderful. Many different units that could be set to different temperatures and ran quietly. The only thing Maria wasn’t able to accommodate was when I checked before the trip about reducing the stay by one night at the end. I was hoping this could be considered through a VRBO “change” since this was still a system option at that point but I can’t fault her for us deciding to change our plans to see more of Costa Rica. Overall we had an amazing trip and would stay in this area again.

Amazing view with beautifully renovated property! Maria was excellent in dealing with trip planning , check in and check out. Location is very central to many excellent beaches and restaurants. We appreciated the a/c that worked well , and the washer and dryer as well as access to beach chairs and body boards. More than enough room for our family and everything we needed in the condo was available. We took advantage of use of the two pools ( with unbelievable views) Coffee in the morning and a drink at night watching the sunset will be a lasting memory. The iguanas and monkey viewing was a bonus. Thank you so much for a great family vacation.

Maria was a pleasure to work with. She was very responsive. She also checked in with us to ensure that we had everything we needed as well as gave us recommendations for excursions and restaurants. The condo was recently remodeled and very comfortable. We enjoyed watching the beautiful sunsets.

The unit is in the smaller of the two buildings with unobstructed views of the bay to the south. Recently remodeled, beautiful inside and out. Two balconies as well as two pools just steps away. Saw tons of birds, coatimundis and an iguana. Short drives to two beaches, the one in front of The Palms is stunning. Unit includes beach chairs and towels. Hit Coco Loco for meals. Restaurants/cafes and markets a short drive away. Perfect location for a relaxing get away!

This condo was perfect for us. The views were incredible. We loved it. You can not walk to the Beach but it was nice to be away from all the people. The pool was awesome. Maria did a fabulous job communicating with us and suggesting different tours and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again.

Our family had a wonderful stay. There was plenty of room for us. The condo was clean and the views were incredible! We loved that there were games there for us to play in the evenings. We even heard howler monkeys a couple times! Loved having multiple pools and it was a short drive down the hill to the beach. We would stay here again.

We loved our stay here so much that we are considering purchasing a condo in this building. The view alone is simply incredible. We loved watching the sky and sea change at different times of day. The condo is fully equipped with anything you might need and we were grateful to have extra bathroom and kitchen supplies (so many other places only have a few dishwasher tablets or toilet paper rolls etc- we had plenty of the essentials and didn't need to run to the store for anything but groceries). The beds were all super comfortable, the rooms individually cooled and more AC in common areas- I was surprised at how cool it stayed even with AC off (very well insulated and thick walls, we never heard neighbors once). The 2 pools were awesome, and I loved sun bathing while the kids splashed around and we could look out over the gorgeous ocean. We brought our drone and got some killer shots gliding across the water and swooping around the hills at sunset. Easy access to beaches, stores, restaurants, but away from the busy tourist spots. Truly a wonderful place. Maria was beyond accommodating and extremely kind and helpful with very easy check in and check out. Her attention to detail and excellent customer service was much appreciated. We are a full time traveling family and this was our favorite spot so far. Thank you so much or a great stay!

This condo was perfect for our family of four. It was exactly as pictured-clean, spacious with incredible views. Air conditioning and washer/dryer are definitely a plus. The location made it easy visit to several beaches and nearby towns with restaurants. We couldn't have had a better host than Maria! She gave us excellent recommendations (as well as made reservations!) for everything from activities to places to eat. Her communication from the time we reserved the condo until the time we left for home were prompt and very helpful. We were also fortunate to have Maria's husband who is a chef, make a meal for us. It was fabulous! Highly recommend this property.

We absolutely loved our time at this condo in Playa Flamingo. The view is spectacular, the pools are refreshing and the beaches are wonderful. All of our needs were met - comfy beds, laundry available, well-equipped and beautiful kitchen, board games available - so many thoughtful details taken care of for us. Maria was the perfect hostess and was a great help in planning our activities and restaurant choices. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer! Pura vida!

We had a fantastic time staying in this condo and Maria is an absolute pleasure to work with. The area is one of our all time favorites and this trip did not disappoint! We will definitely be back!

This condo is beautiful! It had lots of room for our family of five and was a great central location for checking out lots of beaches in the area. The condo is located on a bluff above the beach with no other accommodations near it, so it is amazingly quiet and relaxing. There is a beach just below the condo, and Playa Flamingo is just around the corner from it (a 2 minute drive). It is also close to Playa Tamarindo, which was fun to surf at, and lots of other beaches as well. Can't say enough about the beaches! They are gorgeous with fine white sand and warm water. The condo has two pools, one of which you can watch the sunset from and is warm enough to walk right in. The kitchen is well equipped and the unit also has a washer and dryer. We loved our time here!

Maria is a marvelous host! If you need a tour, she can get many of them set up for you. The bedrooms are decent size, and beds are pretty comfortable. We will recommend this to anyone who ask. Playa Flamingo is about 15-20 mins from Tamarindo, so shopping is close and there are many places to eat. It’s roughly an hour from Liberia.

The perfect location in between every beach we love to frequent! And the sunsets were amazing. Condo was furnished with everything you need, from beach towels to plastic ware for the beach, to beach chairs. The only thing we think the condominium complex should add is a place to bbq. That would be awesome! Thanks so much Maria - we will be back!

The condo was perfect for our family of 5. Plenty of room for everyone. Amazing views and we loved the infinity pool! Great location...visited many beaches including Tamarindo, Conchal, and Flamingo. Would highly recommend!!!

Visited Tamarindo, Playa Grande, Playa Conchal is a hidden gem. El Castillo was our favorite dinner night.

This property is clean and comfortable. It feels very remote, yet is just a short drive to everything. Grocery store, beaches, and restaurants are all less than 5 minutes away. The view really is spectacular. We spent every morning on the balcony watching the birds, and almost every evening watching the sunset. We used the pools daily as well. Maria is a lovely hostess. She was very responsive and accommodating with all of our questions and requests. We were also fortunate enough to have her husband, who is a private chef, prepare dinner for us on two of the nights we were there. Not only is his food AMAZING, but he and Maria are just lovely to talk to! Overall, this was one of the most relaxing vacations we have ever had and we hope to be back.

We loved it here! The place was exactly as described. Amazing views. Comfortable and clean. A fun drive to and from the beach on the dirt road. Maria was wonderful and extremely helpful!

We had a great time!

This is our favorite place to stay when in Costa Rica. The condo is beautiful and spacious. It is well equipped with everything you would need to be comfortable. The views are breathtaking. It's a great place for adults only or a family. Our daughter loved staying here. The pools were great and used everyday by us. The beach is a close drive away along with great restaurants in the area. If you are in the area looking for a place to stay this is the place to choose you won't be disappointed!

This place is great. 3 bedrooms including a master bedroom with a private balcony with view of the ocean. The place has 2 floors too, with a lot space. The view from the first floor living room is fantastic and opens onto a balcony as well. The remaining two bedrooms are smaller but still comfortable. We were a total of 6 persons, including 3 children and 3 adults. The place is very well stocked with all the essentials you'll need to cook and enjoy. Maria was very helpful. Beach chairs and towels were available as well. Note- you will need a car, or at least having a car will make things easier. The location is fantastic, with a 2-3 minute drive down the hill to Playa Flamingo, one of our favorite beaches in Costa Rica. Playa Conchal is also nearby. Would certainly recommend this. Place is very clean, there are two pools that are nice to kill some time at as well. We were there in January the sunset was perfectly visible from the balconies :). We'll definitely be back!

The condo was a perfect choice for our group of 3 adults and 1 child. Everyone had their own private space and the common areas are large enough that had we spent much time indoors we would have been perfectly happy. The view is stunning and we spent most of our time outdoors on the large patios and at the pools. The location was great for us as it is so near to several beautiful beaches, great restaurants, and activities. We were “home” early most evenings and enjoyed the quiet away from the busy beach communities as well as the peaceful mornings to start the day. Great service from the moment we booked from the management company made everything so much easier for us. Would definitely book this property again!

A great family experience!!

We had a great time in Costa Rica, the condo is perfect, very clean, confortable, the kitchen has everything you need, the place is soooo relaxing and peaceful!( we were there 11 days) It is secluded but still you feel totally safe ( 24/7 security service) The dirt road to the condo is rough but is worth the drive, you wont be disappointed of this place, the view is absolutely breathtaking!! Also, I cannot say enough about Maria, she is the best! Very helpful and caring, provinding us with info about the area and making sure from time to time that we were having a good time, she is an excellent host.! We are already planning to go back next year! Pura Vida indeed!

My husband and I just got back from celebrating our first wedding anniversary here. We were extremely impressed with the condo and management company. Upon arrival (and after being delayed for a few hours), Maria greeted us at the condo with a smile. She offered outstanding advice on what to go do and what to go see. Maria is awesome! The condo itself is just as amazing. The pictures don't lie. What you see is what you are getting; a beautiful condo on the ocean with spectacular views!! We WILL be going back. PURA VIDA!!
