Stellar location close to the beach on Lake Michigan. Plenty of space for 6 adults, 5 kids and a dog. Cute decor throughout the house, and the stash of beach toys was helpful. Front room gets the early evening sun and was a favorite hangout spot before we walked to the beach to watch the sunset. Splendid!

Very close to beach. Had great family night game nights in kitchen. Numerous areas to go and relax. Property manager very accommodating. Grandkids had a ball.

We were 3 generations - teens, adults, and grandparents. The house was spacious and fit us all with a nice dining area and outdoor patio. The neighborhood is nice and has easy access to the beach and also the restaurants and amenities in Michigan City. Check-in and check-out was super easy and it was easy to communicate with the owner via the VRBO app. We had no issues.

The home is so comfortable, we had 3 generations, and everyone had space to be alone, and space to all be together. We rent a house every year to have family time, THIS house we have rented twice and plan to go back!! it is so clean, comfortable beds, deck is amazing, very well stocked kitchen, very short path to the beautiful beach. So peaceful and lovely!! Christy is an awesome hostess, so helpful and kind!! We made so many beautiful family memories!! Thank you, Christy, for sharing your beautiful home!!!!!

Great space and location. Close to the beach. Place was perfect for our group that needed rooms for young adults and adults to play cards and games and just hang out.

Everything from start to finish was great. The property host was very responsive and extremely helpful. The house was cute, clean and as pictured. The beach was just a short walk away. The views were amazing. We went to Dune Billie’s Cafe for breakfast and it was good. It had a great atmosphere, the food was good, and they had live music. This property is a short distance from the zoo and outlet mall. If you’re looking for a great coffee place, check out “Fluid”.

We picked this house due to the walking distance to the beach. The house is older but kept up well and clean. The floors smell like they had just been Polyurethaned so there was a strong smell from that drying. Neighbors were a little concerning as one house across the street looked abandoned. Three mattresses were sitting at the curb next door for trash day. Overall the stay was good and the neighborhood around the house was walkable.

The house was a great size for our 3 generation family gathering. Plenty of space for everyone, and lots of different hang-out spaces to be together. It is super close to the beach. We came in the off season and so didn't get to enjoy the big deck, but it looked like a lovely space for relaxing. The host's communication was excellent and very helpful. We'd definitely recommend this place!

With 25 years of celebrating Thanksgiving together, this was the most relaxing one yet. Perfect late fall weather made the location on the beach incredible! The house was cozy, comfortable, and fit us just right. We used the fireplace and the deck, the "kids" who are no longer kids at all totally enjoyed the bunk room, we cooked and laughed, played silly games and made plans, and enjoyed time together in beautiful Sheridan Beach.

Stayed here over the weekend for a bachelor party. The property is nice and there was plenty of room for all of us to sleep. There is plenty to do around the city and the lake of course was great! I would stay again.

What a perfect property... location, deck, multiple living areas and just like the pictures. We are fortunately enough to take our family on a vacation every year and feel blessed that we were able to spend it at Michigan City this year. We walked to the beach everyday and grilled out in the evening perfect!

Great family vacation at this lovely home, only a short walk from the beach. There was plenty of room, and a great enclosed deck for little kids to roam. They allowed pets, which let us bring a dog to share the family time. The only downside was the HOT weather! Highly recommend this property and location.

We had our family of 10, 8 adults and our 2 grandchildren along for this trip. The house is very spacious with sitting areas in multiple spots for private time amongst couples if required. The deck was a great hangout spot for everyone. The home had everything we could’ve ask for. Our favorite thing about the house was how close it was to the beach. It’s a short,(5min) walk through a sand dune to get there. If you don’t have small children walking you could get there in 2 min! The owner and myself had open communication and she responded within minutes if I had a question. We really appreciate the hospitality and already looking at dates for next summer!

Our favorite part staying at this home was how close it was to the beach! ☀️ 🏖️ Our host stayed in contact with us and we enjoyed our stay. We noticed that there were small factors (lack of toilet paper, wobbly chairs, hard to lock patio door) that needed improvement but overall we greatly enjoyed staying in this home with wonderful friends.

We had 12 people stay at the property for a bachelor party and had plenty of space for all. The proximity to the lake is great and the back deck had more than enough room for all to relax. Recommend for anyone traveling to Michigan City!

Christy was really flexible with letting us check in early which we greatly appreciated! House is better than the pictures indicate- had a lot of fun grilling and hanging out on the deck, relaxing indoors, and it really is a very short (<5 min) walk from the house to the beach. Perfect getaway for Memorial Day weekend and we will certainly be back!

Hello affordable beach property! This was an amazing find and Christy is a wonderful host. She was able to quickly respond to any questions and even let us have an early check-in and out which made things so easy. We were there for a friend's bachelorette party with 15 people and there was plenty of space to crash. We had dinner outside and spent a lot of time upstairs in the living room and utilizing the sunroom for morning brunch and mimosas! Neighbors were incredibly nice too. And the beach! We didn't spend much time there unfortunately but the time we did it was absolutely beautiful. Thanks Christy for being a super great host. The bride had the best time!

The location was perfect! We enjoyed our weekend at the house. It was large enough for the 11 adults! Everything was super clean. Christy was great to work with! I would recommend this house to any big group! Just a few steps to the beach and about a half mile to downtown Michigan City.

The house was in a perfect location with an easy walk to the beach. It was the perfect space for 6 couples and 2 singles. The beds were comfortable and rooms were spacious. Would highly recommend for a group vacation. What a wonderful experience!

This place was very nice and so spacious. Christy was an amazing host and was very quick to respond to any requests and even let us check in early and leave late so we had more time at the beach. You are just steps to one of the nicest beaches in IN and the sunsets are unbelievable. It was nice to have the beach toys and chairs available as well. The beds were all super comfortable and we loved the second living space in the basement for the kids to hang out. We plan on staying here next year as well!

The residence worked great for a family of 12 ages 3 to 73. Nice neighborhood with no problems with neighbors. We had a good time and loved the beech.

Great location and fun times
We had a great time staying here. Christy responded almost immediately to any questions I sent. The house was a short walk to the beach and had some chairs and sand toys to use. We watched the fireworks on the beach and it was great! There are multiple places to sit and relax at the house including a great sun room and a large deck. We also went to Stateline blueberries and the Washington Park zoo and enjoyed both!

Bachelor Party Weekend
We stayed for a weekend for a bachelor party and the property was excellent. More than enough space, great outdoor patio, and close to the beach and local bars/restaurants. Would highly recommend!

Great time.
The house was super cute. It was pretty hot that weekend so we opened the windows for some air. Unfortunately we forgot to shut them, so we were fined. Also, we took the trash out but the bin wasn’t large enough to fit all of our trash in so we set it next to the trash can. We were fined for that as well. Overall, it was a great property, and the location is quiet and convenient.
