The apartment is totally beyond our expectation! It is spotless, cozy and tastefully decorated with the theme of ocean. Once in the apartment, you will feel the relaxing mood. Moreover, everything works good in the apartment. There is adequate supply of daily essentials and the kitchen is fully equipped. Actually, everything is more than what you need.
Dora and Tiago are super nice and helpful. Upon check in, Tiago gave us a very detail and comprehensive ‘tutorial’ about everything we need to know about Obidos. They also designed the Mood guide which is extremely useful in planning our activities in Obidos. And their recommendation for restaurants is perfect!
We want to thank Dora and Tiago again for their kind hospitality. The welcoming ginja and biscuits are impressive. They are so heart-warming that we are just like having a friend in Obidos. They are not just running a holiday apartment. They love travelling and so know pretty well what their guests need. We deeply feel their passion in helping us to have a wonderful experience not only in Obidos but also in Portugal.
Last but not least, we strongly recommend Mood Lodging-Caldas & Ocean to anyone going to Obidos! Don’t miss it! It’s worth staying there for at least 3 days!

Right next to the entrance of Obidos gate. You can park the car very easily. Thiago and his wife are extremely friendly and perfect hosts. The appartment has all the things you need. Thiago's preperation and welcoming is very warm and useful as he gives you many tips where to go to.
Obidos is a must do and 1 full day (2 nights) was in our opinion the best

Hosts Tiago and Dora were charming and truly made every effort to be helpful during our stay, from making dinner reservations to showing where to buy food, eat breakfast, what to see in the medieval town, and more. Can't praise them enough. The unit is well appointed for its size, an excellent kitchen, good use of space throughout.

Can’t say enough good things!! I rented the Ocean apartment and loved it!!Exactly as described..clean, bright, comfortable. The location is great and on site parking is a plus. Tiago and Dora are super hosts. They could not have been nicer or more helpful. Mood Lodging exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend.

The room was large with separate bedroom and small kitchen which was well stocked with dishes, etc. Parking was close. Very close to the walled area.
Owner, Tiago, spent considerable time going through the room and suggested various places to visit in the old city.

We loved everything about our stay, from the location, to the warm welcome, to the beautiful accommodation. Tiago was the best host we have ever had. He gave recommendations and made sure to explain the area, it was such a welcoming that we wished we booked for longer!

The apartment was immaculate!! The location was fabulous...just outside the city wall! It had a beautiful view of the castle! The host was wonderfully hands-on!! He met us at the door and treated us to ginginja and cookies! He was the nicest host on all of our travels through Portugal!!! He gave us lots of very helpful information on nearby Obidos...even an interactive map of Obidos that my daughter downloaded on her phone. It was very helpful! We appreciated him so much. I highly recommend this place!

Excellent location, within easy walking distance of the historic city centre (side entrance through the city walls is 200 m on foot), yet easy to reach by car and with ample parking next door. Very friendly host, who offered tips and advice, as well as some local delicacies.
The view from the terrace is unfortunately partially obstructed by trees.

Everything! Excellent facilities, spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and Tiago and Dora were so helpful. Special touches like a selection of local produce to try and really useful recommendations on where to eat, what to see etc. Also, we could park the car very near to the property.

My wife and I stayed on 25/12/22. Tiago and Dora are genuinely warm and caring hosts. They gifted us a generous welcome pack of local goods. Tiago spent a lot of time explaining to us what we could do and what restaurants would be open considering it was Christmas Day. There is ample parking in what is an excellent location very close walking distance to the walls surrounding the historic centre. The apartment has a cottage feel to it and is very tastefully finished. It is well equipped including with ingredients for cooking. This is for me a must stay and one that I will happily recommend to friends and family.

Our hosts were exceptionally attentive and took time to give us great tips for activities around the area. Arrival and departure (although we needed to depart early for our trip to Sintra) were no problem at all and communication was very easy. The location is fully equipped and quite spacious, also very close to the city wall yet in a very quite residential area with plenty of parking spaces. We would come again anytime if we are in the area!

This small apartment is just outside the walls of Obidos, with easy parking and a pleasant view. It is very nicely finished and kept very clean. There is a fully furnished kitchen, the only thing missing was a washing machine really, but everything else was supplied including some basic condiments and spices so you could do your own cooking without having to buy everything. There are recycling facilities. Very thoughtful. There’s a nice little patio area you can enjoy too.
The owners Tiago and Dora came to greet us and gave us useful information about the local area. They also provided some little gifts of local food and drink to try.
You can walk to everything in Obidos from here so it’s very convenient.
Although I say it’s peaceful Obidos does overlook several main roads and during the day there is a constant traffic hum if you have the windows open.

The host, Tiago meet us when we check in the apartment. He gives us valuable information of Obidos. It’s lucky for us during our stay which the Literary Festival in autumn is held. Tiago suggested us don’t miss the Concerto Sara Correia, which mainly Fargo theme is presented. We enjoyed it very much. He and his wife even made a google map guide of Obidos for every guest visited his apartment.

The apartment was spacey, light, exceptionally clean, with all the facilities a traveler needs. The hosts Tiago and Dora were more than helpful in advising places of interest l.e. coffee shops, restaurants, places to see. They also helped to organise taxis for us travelling to other towns that saved us stress (as there is limited taxi facilities in the area). The property was so much comfy and well equipped that we even cooked and had dinner one day enjoying fantastic view through Patio window. The host was always available to answer any queries that we had. Many thanks, Tiago and Dora, for your hospitality making our stay a wonderful experience. Tiago was an excellent host, meeting us on our arrival and seeing us off the next day. He gave us lots of info about the town and some excellent recommendations on where to go and where to eat. The apartment was super clean, well equipped and perfectly located to visit the town, a short walk from the city walls. Obidos is a charming, historic town , definitely worth a visit. Don't miss a stroll along the old town walls, though be aware that the walkways are narrow and there are no guardrails.

That we only stayed for one night :( would have easily stayed longer! Obidos is also close to other nice places to visit.
