The communication with the owner was amazing. She was very responsive and super helpful. The condo was very nice, view was awesome, very clean, great location between the west side and the south. We didn’t use the pool, but it looked nice. Sea turtles swimming in front every day. Balcony was nice for chilling in the morning and evening. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!!!!

Pictures accurate of property. View is amazing, lots of beach stuff to use, chairs, snorkel stuff, boogie boards, umbrella, and a cooler. Only about a 20 minute drive to beaches, and places to eat. Got to see a lot of turtles off the patio. Also host left banana bread and a pinapple. Would stay here again.

This beautiful and well appointed apartment overlooks the bay and Haleakala. It is just like the pictures in the listing, and we had a wonderful time. The sound of the surf, the sights, the sea turtles lapping at the seawall. All was very relaxing and enjoyable.

We had breakfast on the balcony and watched whales. Beautiful! Loved the lay out as well, worked for a party of three.

We all enjoyed the beautiful views and it was nice of the host to arrange for multiple rainbows for us. We’d rent again in a minute.

I had decided on a trip back to Maui as I was there long long ago. I searched through so many other units but this one had most everything I was seeking and I seek a lot. The location is right on the water. The views are to die for which was a prerequisite. I wanted a spacious feeling unit that came with a nice kitchen and this had that all as well. The unit is fairly close to the airport on a good road so getting there was a snap as well. The location is pretty much exactly in the middle of what we wanted to see. The unit had everything included which was nice. We cooked some great meals and availed ourselves of the grills down by the pool. The property is well maintained and the lawn is manicured to perfection. All in all, no complaints whatsoever and I wouldn't hesitate to rent this again.

Our family loved this listing. We loved the location, the accessibility to variety of places on the island, the ability to cook and do laundry, and most of all to eat breakfast on the lanai and watch the sunrise (and the surfers!) we loved this condo and would highly recommend!

Lauloa 302 was the perfect location for an extended stay on the island. Its’ location ideal, the property is very well maintained, quiet, and the unit is nicely furnished and equipped. Communication with the owner is prompt and they check in process could not be easier. As a frequent traveler to Maui, this unit would be top on the list when scheduling in the future.

Barbara's condo was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed! The lanai was perfect for watching the sunrise before we headed out for the day, and we enjoyed that it was a quiet location that wasn't really far from anything, so we weren't limited to just one part of the island. It was so nice to have a washer/dryer, full set of dishes, a cooler, and beach towels for our use!

Nothing but great things to say about this place. We stayed in Ma'alaea in 2020 and decided to return because of its central location on the island. It's 10 minutes from Kahului and 20 minutes from either West or South Maui. The pictures you see showing this unit really understate how great it is. When we were looking to book a place for Maui back in mid-2021, we had several options to choose from. We saw this place on VRBO and were a bit concerned that so few pictures probably meant the owner was hiding something. Our concerns vanished the moment we walked through the front door. This unit is truly oceanfront with the lanai not being more than 50 feet from the water's edge. Everyday we could see humpbacks spouting water through their blowholes, flapping fins and tails, and best of all, breaching the surface. Truly spectacular! It really doesn't get any better. The master bedroom also has patio doors leading out to the lanai. The King size bed was very comfortable with lots of pillows. The master bath was equipped with a double shower (great design!) and had plenty of face, hand, and bath towels. The full kitchen was completely stocked with all the utensils we needed to make a wide variety of meals. Located in the kitchen area was also a stacked washer and dryer. You don't really appreciate in-house laundry facilities until you have to haul your clothes to a laundromat. The 4-seat dining table and spacious living area allowed us to invite for dinner and comfortably entertain friends we were travelling with. This spacious 2-bedroom condo has a second bathroom as well (with a bathtub) that came in handy for me since my wife had dibs on the master bath. There's AC that we used not more than 3x during our month-long stay because of the refreshing breeze that flowed through the unit. When we did turn it on, the condo cooled very quickly. Any issues/questions we had were addressed very quickly by the property manager, Barbara. I can assure anyone who is considering renting this condo that you are going to love this place!

Enjoyed our stay. In addition to the unit being everything we could have hoped for…the building was very well maintained and quiet. And the location made it very restful..outside the touristed areas elsewhere. The pool was also lovely…

we didn't get to stay at the property because Hawaii quarantined us. However, the property manager, Barbara tried to help us very hard to get us unquarantined. I'd recommend her to anyone.

Some of the best Viewing of whales right from the Condos Lanai. They were so close, that we did not need to use Telescope in Condo. We enjoyed sunrises every morning on the lanai while eating breakfast. We loved this Condo also because it was very Kid friendly. Barbara had items such as High Chair, Stroller, Pak n play in unit on arrival. We also found Beach Chairs, Sun umbrella, cooler, kids beach toys, boogie boards and much more. These items made for one of the best family trips we have ever had. It was a treat to find local Banana bread, honey, coffee, and a pineapple on our arrival. My only wish is updated mattresses in both bedrooms.

Location was great. Whale watching was fantastic. Very quiet. Perfect for two couples.

We have stayed in this condominium complex more than once. The central location is very convenient if you’re interested in getting out and about to see all the beautiful things around the island. Please be aware that if you’re a person who wants to stay-in and enjoy what the condo/complex has to offer, this might not be the spot for you. There is a small pool which is well kept. That’s about it for the amenities in the complex. The building itself and the grounds are kept in immaculate condition and has an elevator for ease of access. This 2 bedroom unit has been updated and looks very nice. The kitchen was well equipped if one wanted to cook. The living room has a lovely view of the bay. The cushions on the sofas definitely need to be replaced. That lovely view from the sofas has clearly been enjoyed a little too much. The master bedroom and bath have a great view and access to the balcony. However the access was blocked by a lounge chair that had to be moved anytime you went in or out. The second bedroom, which had access to a perfectly clean and nicely updated bath, however was another story. We chose twin beds instead of having them made into a king. The twin mattresses and the flat pillows desperately need to be replaced. Sleeping on sagging squeaky beds isn’t a good thing. The large double closet was perfectly adequate until it was filled up with all the plunder that wasn’t used to turn it into a king bed. We had adequate hanging space and drawers in a chest for two people. However, we had to store our bags and miscellaneous accessories in the living room. Not the end of the world...but annoying. Another small issue that needs to be taken care of, is the air flow to the smaller second bedroom. Yes, there is air conditioning (which at times, especially in the warmer months) which will be important here. However, the cool air doesn’t get all the way back to the second bedroom....even with the fan that was provided, running nonstop. It really needs another unit. I really hate to leave my review with the negatives at the end. This is a charming location. Very quiet and rather old-school Maui. It doesn’t have the feel of a busy and noisy condo complex. People are very pleasant. There’s even a condo-kitty who often greets you in the evenings when you come home from day trips. It feels more like a home, than a rental. That’s worth more than air conditioning or a saggy bed. Aloha!

Great location. Not overcrowded. About 30 minutes from Lahaina, further to Kappanali beach. But if you like relax and not be busy this will work. Small harbor around the corner to do tours from. Condo had great views of ocean. There is not a beach in front of property but there are several in the vicinity. Condo was well stocked with just about everything you need to cook with including ziplock bags which was great. Thank you. There is a sliding door in master that goes to lanai which was nice to have as you could listen to waves at night falling asleep. Enjoyed our time here.

First of all, let me start by saying that the pictures of this condo do not do it justice! This place is beautiful and the view is absolutely gorgeous! The complex is very quiet and relaxing...perfect for us. I suppose if you’re looking for night life you could stay in Lahaina or Kehei, but condo is centrally located and just a short drive to everywhere! There is a nice beach you can walk to on one side and the marina with cute stores and restaurants on the other. You can also walk to the aquarium if you wanted. We had coffee on the lenai every morning and watched the sun come up, saw turtles, people snorkeling and even a surfer one day. We absolutely loved this place and would totally stay here again!

Nice updated condo. Fantastic views, good central location

The location is great for relaxing at the ocean or as a base for Lahaina and Kihei (you’re right on the water). Great amenities, welcoming management, and easy check-in. The only things to clarify are the bathrooms are a little dated and the A/C isn’t really powerful enough to cool the whole place, which probably can be common in the Hawaiian heat.

Great location and ocean views. Recommend condo to travelers. Clean and felt like home. Balcony overlooking turtles and surfers was a great place to relax.

Perfect vacation destination.

This was an excellent condo with a million dollar view. For two couples the condo was very comfortable and clean. The balcony overlooks the water and we could see turtles daily. The owner is very responsive and has provided everything you will need. The air conditioning unit helped keep the temperature comfortable. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit.

Our only disappointment was we stuffed swim fins into our luggage when there were 4 good sets already there. We didn't get an answer when we asked. The apartment is nicely furnished with rattan and clean. The view of Freight Trains, Maui's best surf break, is front row. One day there were 50 out there including professionals.
