Nice location close to the beach. Easy walking distance on a quiet street.
8.0 / 10.0
We had a mostly positive experience at this Seaside cottage. We loved the hot tub, the bikes, and the location (a very short walk to the ocean; and short walk or bike ride to lots of restaurants). The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the games. However, we probably wouldn't stay here again. The attic bedroom was quite hot; two small windows cool the room nicely, but there are no screens. Most frustratingly, the window coverings did a poor job of blocking out the early-morning sun. If those two small things were improved, that would really improve the stay.

Amazing location, loved having the outdoor area, felt private. Easy walk to restaurants and, best of all, the beach! Bring a kite!

An older house but with everything you could need. The only bummer was that the picnic table in the back wasn’t really usable!

It is a nice little space located within a few minutes of the beach. IMO, the location was pretty ideal being off the main roads with a small neighborhood grocery store near by and a couple restaurants. Still, it is close enough to major shopping in Seaside. Overall, I am comfortable giving a 5 star review, and the notes that follow are not intended to be critical. Rather, they are included for transparency around my experience and offered to add clarity and detail to the listing.
Thanks to a previous review, we knew that the bathroom didn't have a fan. It's a weird omission since the room has been remodeled. We didn't have problems with ants as another reviewer commented.
The front bedroom on the main floor is separated from the living room by a set of pocket doors - so bear that in mind for any privacy/usage concerns.
The bed in the rear bedroom was uncomfortable with the mattress leaning to the side and back on one side. It was passable for a couple days, but I wouldn't want to sleep on it for a week.
Central air would've been a nice addition - if only to keep the air moving in the house. However, the converted attic space desperately needed air conditioning. It trapped all the heat so it was really warm during the day. The stairs leading to the attic room were steep! They were more like a built in ladder and the treads were short and shallow. Use caution.

It spent 3 days with my adult children enjoying the beautiful Oregon coast.

Pros: Short walk to the prom and beach, washer & dryer available, lots of towels, two restaurants and market right around the corner.
Cons: Ants in the attic/third bedroom, bathroom didn’t have a fan - needed to open the windows but it had a direct view to neighbor’s living room, hot tub was overfilled and couldn’t heat up more than 94 degrees the first night, living room didn’t feel relaxing - sofa covers felt dingy.
Overall, it was an okay stay. We checked out early because the ants and the no bathroom fan was uncomfortable.

We had a wonderful restful time at the Vintage Cottage. It has so many features for all types of visitors. Fire pit, hot tub, bikes, washer and dryer, etc etc. it is on a private quiet street only 2 1/2 blocks from the beach. Place is immaculately clean and well stocked with appliances to make life simple and easy. It is a perfect size for two people and can sleep 5. The loft is up a very steep ladder/stairs to keep in mind for safety going up and down. We would happily return to this location again.

I Loved my week here in Seaside. The property was perfect for me, especially the Hot Tub, used it every night after a long day of exploring the area. I had read previous reviews and there was nothing that couldnt be sorted bybsome quick modifications, i hung a blanket over the front door window and a towel over the back door for privacy. For ant control just dont leave any food oprn and all will be fine. Im an artist and enjoyed peaceful evenings drawing by the fire. It was pretty cold while i was there but very cozy in the cabin. The property was great, i wish the weather had been better for me to enjoy the yard. If i ever get back to seaside i would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a great stay.

It was great. Exactly everything we needed. Was clean, convenient and had great amenities. Hot tub was great, grill was convenient, location was awesome. Market and restaurants a 1 minute walk. Beach only a couple more.

We are a family of 4 with 2 young kids and don’t like to give bad reviews, but this listing was just not accurate. We were excited to stay at this location for all of the amenities offered and we were quite disappointed.
1. The hot tub water was murky and had leaves and dirt in it. We only went in once due to it not being clean.
2. We were hoping to use the grill with the nice weather and when we opened the grill it was rusted inside and quite dirty on the rack.
3. The shades in the front room don’t match the window and there’s no covering on the front door large window, so we put things in place so no one could see in.
4. The fire pit online looked ready to use and when we arrived the fire pit was dirty and no wood available to use.
5. We hoped to be able to use the bikes with our two kids at some point, but the bikes were dirty and the kid carrier was too dirty to use.
6. The shower in bathroom was leaking water out of the shower onto the floor due to gap in shower door.
7. We listed that there were 4 of us on the reservation and we were only given 2 shower towels.
8. For the price we paid, next time we will just book a nice hotel.
*The ITrip property management company sent us an email to check in on our stay on Saturday. I sent an email back with our concerns and we never got a response from them.

We were pleasantly surprised how cozy and welcoming this beach cottage was! The loft is absolutely adorable and my daughter and husband were fighting over who got to bunk up there. The house was very clean and came with everything we might have needed. Enjoyed being soo close to the beach. Would definitely love to stay here again. Thanks soo much for sharing your home with us.😊

Great place, easy access to a a restaurant and a market, the beach. Hot tub was a nice thing. As was the fire pit. Vintage stove was interesting. Had the right amount of connectivity and quiet downtime.

We arrived late in the evening, in the kitchen drawers were ants, the back door has a doggie door that was partially open.
In the morning we went out for the day returning to ants in the bedroom, kitchen, bathroom( on the shelves, floors and our stuff. There was also a plate with cooked meat on top of the furnace. The plate wasn’t there before. We called and asked to be moved to another location and were told nothing was available. The area has many rentals available, I believe something could have been done. I got a different place easily and we left. The manager said they would talk to the owner to see if we could get a refund. I didn’t hear back from them. The place wasn’t clean, the curtains don’t cover the bedroom windows. I’m not sure what happened with this rental but it was not a good experience. It was unclean and felt unsafe

We visited to have a work week away from
Home, as we all do telework. It was so nice to be somewhere by the beach! As far as space goes, this is pretty small, but it fit all of our needs. We loved walking to the little shops nearby, the beach, and just breathing in the salty air. This is a great little house for a small group of people.

Everything was great. The hot tub could have been a little warmer and the furnace was very loud when it turned on. Other than that all things worked and we were able to have an enjoyable Thanksgiving.

This house is wonderfully appointed, very comfortable furniture and beds, well stocked bathroom and kitchen. We were very comfortable in the house and didn't need anything as everything was provided. We would stay here again!

This cottage is the cutest! It’s in a perfect location, very safe, and has everything you need to feel at home. It’s teen friendly (great wifi, Xbox, etc.) and dog friendly (good fence, chuck-it, bowls, etc.) The hot tub was amazing! Would definitely return and recommend to friends. Thank you!

Cozy sized beach house with great location. Attempted to stream a movie after a long day of exploring but the internet kept losing signal. Overall a good house and location.

My husband and I greatly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. We brought our dog with us and the backyard was perfect for him. We did have some slight difficulties getting into the hot tub at first but the owners were immediately available and had it fixed within 30 minutes of notification. The cottage was perfect for our needs and the fireplace was fantastic to have during the rainy days we were there. We would definitely stay here again!

Very easy to make yourself at home here. Plenty of amenities, more than we expected! A bike ride from the beach and a grocery on the corner. There’s a great hang out in the backyard and the Jacuzzi is a perfect days ending. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean. Our entire stay was fantastic! If we get back to Oregan, we would definitely stay here again.

Nice little house in a quiet neighborhood close to the beach; with little being the operant word. This house would be best for a single couple or couple with one child. We were 2 couples and found it quite tight. The second bedroom is only a double, no bedside stands, lamps or chest of drawers, so you have to live out of your suitcase. There are some shelves occupied by children's toys and about 12" of hanging space. I used my suitcase as the bedside stand. The main bedroom was bigger, but still did not have bedside stands or lamps for reading There is no dining table where 4 can gather for a meal or play a game, though there's a large footstool in the living room. They say you can dine in the kitchen, but not really. There are 2 stools and a small island. Everyone else has to stand. Thankfully, we had superb weather and were able to spend most of our time outdoors. The highs: cute, the owners have made some efforts to update with nice decor, beds were comfortable; the lows: many of their efforts to enact repairs or upgrades to the property are poorly done (duct tape around the cooktop, a jury-rigged handle on the old fridge), The place could use some maintenance i.e., sugar ants in the kitchen, back door has large gaps around it, so it would be quite cold in the winter. We did enjoy the hot tub, and used the bicycles--a definite plus. All-in-all, we had fun but I feel the house is over-priced for what it is and the additional fees!!!!

My husband and my best friend and her husband came to stay for the weekend of the Oregon Corgi Beach Day. The home was wonderful with a fenced yard that was perfect for our Corgis. The hot tub and firepit just added nore fun to an already wonderful weeke nd. The house was clean, neat and exactly as advertised. Would definitely stay here again!!

We had a great stay here. The fireplace, hot tub, cozy bedding, and bikes made the stay especially nice. We had a couple loads of laundry to do and used the last 2 tide pods so I bought a pack and left them for the next guests. A few things to note: 1-the dryer may need replacement as we could only dry 1/2 load at a time to get them fully dry, 2- the house could use some lamps as the overhead lights are harsh at nighttime and make you feel exposed, 3- front door is missing blinds.

A very charming house! Location was good, however before booking it shows it’s on the promenade then after booking its sets a couple streets back. Still a super easy walk to the beach! House is also a bit chilly. It gets cozy after fireplace and space heaters run for a couple hours.

it was important to us to bring our small dog who had a great time on the beach. The location was great, very close to the promenade for walking. The grocery store nearby was wonderful to get things we needed. My only concern is we heard a weird growl at night with the windows open that was concerning. overall, it was a good experience. if you have a pet, be careful.

Charming vintage beach cottage, that works really well for dogs. We had 3 with us. The location is great with the beach, some restaurants and a market within easy walking distance. The cottage is cosy, and provided the things we were looking for. We’ll be back.
