Joe's house was really great for our family. Essentially a stand-alone mother-in-law apartment in the basement, a large bedroom on the main floor and then 4 bedrooms upstairs with good sleeping setup for kids and a spacious master. Location was excellent, we walked to Footbridge Beach each day in less than 10 minutes saving quite a bit of $ on parking. Also made good use of the puzzles, beach toys, and boogie boards in the house. Would have liked to stay longer for sure, and really appreciated Joe being willing to accept a shorter stay as many properties seemed to only do weekly rentals. Really enjoyed our stay, would look forward to returning!

Our family spent the weekend relaxing and enjoying the beach. Having the separate space in the basement for teens to hang out was great. Highly recommend!

We have rented this house for several years now and thoroughly enjoy staying there. It accommodates our family and provides a safe place for the kids to ride their bikes and such in front of the house. The extra refrigerator in the basement comes in very handy. Just a short walk to my favorite Maine beach!

Clean, well maintained property within minutes walk to Footbridge beach. Plenty of bedroom, livingroom, and dining room space for 6 unrelated people. Kitchen a little cramped but we managed. We would definitely love to come back

Our reunion group enjoyed our stay. The house and location was perfect to travel both north and south to visit other areas such as Portland. The house met our needs.

Great location with quick walk to the beach. Owner is fantastic to work with and great response if you need to reach. Wish the single bedroom upstairs had a set of bunks in it and that the queen size bedroom upstairs had the correct size tv for the room and downstairs queen size bedroom also had tv. All in all the place is well taken care of , clean, and plenty of room for a large family. We will be returning for a fourth year in 2019, and create new memories.

A wonderful home with the most comfortable couches ever! Stocked with everything you would need. This home is huge with a well designed layout allowing for much privacy. The basement "apartment" was a real bonus. Also a wonderful location, though I would say that the walk to Footbridge Beach is more like 10 minutes than 5. My only advice to future renters is to give yourselves plenty of time to wash and dry the towels before the morning checkout, maybe start your washing the night before. The owner was very nice and clear and responsive in his communications.

Everything about our 3 night stay at 59 Bayview, Ogunquit, Maine was wonderful.

We loved staying at this house with three families. We each had our own space, which was great for families with small children. The upstairs rooms include two large bedrooms with a king and queen, plus two small bedrooms that are great for kids. The downstairs first floor has one bedroom with a queen and a pull out in the next room, and then there is another apartment in the basement area with a queen pullout, kitchen with an extra fridge, huge bathroom, and doors that open up into the courtyard. There's lots of privacy and space. We loved the outdoor table and grill for cooking, plus all of the items you'd ever need for cooking. The location is also amazing. My friends and I enjoyed walking to the Footbridge Beach with the kids (5 min walk), and it is also super close to Ogunquit dining. We did most of our cooking at the house and went to Portland for the day for craft breweries (Bissell Brothers), doughnuts at the Holy Donut and ice cream at Mount Desert. We went out for dinner one night at Barnacle Billy's but they were not at all friendly to families (just FYI). We wish we had just picked up lobsters from Beach Plum, as the home owner had recommended. We will follow the advice next time! The home was amazing! We would love to stay there again.

The house is beautifully done and the location is on a quiet cul-de-sac a short walk to the beach and minutes to town. We had 7 adults and plenty of room to have some quiet time alone when needed. Fantastic vacation!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this great house. The house was well equipped and included everything we needed for our large family. With young children the outdoor shower was perfect as well as the basement where the children could watch movies. The extra fridg was great to store extra beverages. It was a short easy walk to our favorite beach.It was a pleasure to work with Joe . Looking forward to returning next year.

I loved arriving at the front door of this house with my children and family in tow. It was such a welcoming view and layout and the location was spot on! Considering there were 11 of us including my 3 children, space was never an issue. The ocean around the corner was great for our football games and early morning swims! All in all, I cannot wait to rent this house again. There were no disappointments!

Close to the Beach and the Village We were eleven including three very little kids: every couple had there own appartements with bathroom and shower and privacy The house is clean, nothing missing The view in the living room and in the room in the front of the house at high tide is very nice Very quiet place Really a place to come back

In celebration of our 40th anniversary, we rented this great house for the week. Our family of 10 (which included 4 young children) enjoyed this home. There was more than enough room for all of us. Our daughter/husband/infant used the 1st floor bedroom/bathroom which worked out great for them as they needed to be up during the night. The basement area worked well for the children to watch movies and the basement kitchen area gave us additional room to store food and beverages. Having a storage area in the basement gave us a place to store the 4 bikes we had brought with us. The 2nd floor bedroom area gave the rest of the family plenty of room to spread out. And having 4 bathrooms was an added bonus - especially when getting ready to go out in the morning. The kitchen had adequate equipment and we were able to cook most of our meals at the house. The location of the home is excellent in relation to Footbridge Beach, the trolley....and a short walk along the beach to Ogunquit Beach. Not being as familiar with Footbridge Beach, we quickly grew to love the beach area and the fact that it's not as crowded as Ogunquit. And there is more beach area at high tide. This home was perfect for our family vacation and we would recommend it highly. The outside grill worked very well. Having a washer/dryer was very useful. The neighbors were friendly. And the outdoor shower helped so much in keeping the sand out of the house. The owners are very fortunate to have such a lovely home in a perfect location.

This is a perfect house for a multi-family holiday. We were 3 families - 6 adults, a 3 year old and two babies. The house is beautifully decorated and the layout of the bedrooms and bathrooms works very well for 4 or even 4 families sharing the house. The kitchen is very well equipped and has Jen-Air appliances. Very comfortable beds with high quality linens, towels, etc. There are beautiful gardens and patio areas as shown in the pictures. The owner was very pleasant to deal with. Answered e-mails quickly and security deposit was returned promptly. We look forward to a return visit.

Very clean and spacious home in an ideal location. Owner was very accommodating and communication was always prompt. Great outdoor space, more than enough living space for all guests that stayed throughout the weekend. We look forward to staying again next year!
