The rental is beyond charming, perfect for couples on a romantic getaway or anyone looking to relax. I was a solo travel and felt very safe exploring this neighborhood, which is a few blocks from Gulf sunsets and full of homes with interesting architecture. The kitchen is well-equipped and a Publix grocery store is a short drive away. Even though the rental is connected to two other residences, it’s very private, thanks to the clever design (with lots of artsy touches). I never heard the other occupants and felt very comfortable on the clothing-optional patio. I took advantage of the hot tub, pool and outdoor shower almost daily. Roy is a gracious host and responds helpfully and quickly.

Our stay was absolute paradise! So comfy and relaxing, the lighting is amazing. When i first found the listing, I thought this can't be true...it is, what you see is what you will find. The location is perfect, so close to everything, and a short walk down the street to the most beautiful sunsets. Roy is a pleasure and easy to reach. We can't wait to go back!!! Loved this place, if it's available - book it, better than a 5 Star Hotel !!

Roy isn't kidding about privacy. The pool, hot tub, outdoor shower are wonderful. We stayed for 5 nights and used the private, quiet back yard every day. We will definitely stay again. My only complaint is the mattress isn't very comfortable.

We loved our stay at this property! Everything was as described and more. Roy goes above and beyond with his attention to detail. Little touches (soft music playing via Pandora upon entering, the hibiscus flower on the bed, Pink Moscato with 2 wine flutes on the dresser) were so thoughtful. We also loved the pool and hot tub and spent most of our time lounging outside. I was sad to see that the property was already booked for next year during our time off from work. We would definitely stay here again. :)

This place was nice. The neighborhood is quiet. The combo of having both a pool and hot tub was a bonus with one exception, sadly :-( The following review is not comprised of criticisms. These were our personal observations and suggestions for a better stay for future guests. The overall cleanliness was good/ok. The bedspread needs to be laundered. It was evident it hadn't been washed in some time. The same applies to the shag carpet in the bedroom. The bathroom floor needed scrubbing and it was disappointing that there was nowhere to put shampoo/soap inside the shower. The toilet will continue making noise for an extended period of time after flushing (a few min, not kidding!) The shower-liner (both inside and outside showers) needs cleaning as there is visible mold on them (mildew smell as well). The outside shower was nice/different. There was no indication however the hot water was actually the right-side knob, not the left. We didn't use the pool too much, as the heater shut off around 7 pm. Upon returning from shopping etc, the water was too cold to swim comfortably. The biggest disappointment for us was the hot tub, sadly. It is well maintained, chemicals, etc but the pressure of the jets (turn knob) is limited and controlled by a screw that was drilled into the fiberglass. The pressure was mediocre at best. We couldn't understand the reason for the limitation (considering the nightly price $$$ of the property). We used the other coffee maker we found in the pantry (w/carafe). The Gen 1 Keurig malfunctioned with every attempt to brew, water spilled out under the Keurig. It also needed a deep cleaning (black flakes when flushing it out multiple times). We went out and purchased filters after buying Keurig cups we couldn't use. Honestly, I would give this place a higher rating with just a few simple fixes. For the nightly rate, we honestly were disappointed with the limitations of the hot tub/pool. We also understand the place is highly sought out on vrbo, so it was no surprise we learned the thermostat was locked. We woke up most nights sweating. We did feel (with the limitations placed on the guests) the price was too steep. This is a lovely property with the potential to be spectacular. The host (Roy) couldn't be nicer. Although we didn't get a chance to meet him, the communication before and after our stay was great!! This a nice private oasis for two!!!

This property was exactly what we were looking for to celebrate our anniversary. Roy provided a no stone unturned experience. He has thought of every detail to provide you with a relaxing stress free vacation. Highly recommend this property, we will be back!

Roy’s place was Perfect. We hung out at the pool most of our visit there. The bed was super comfy. The place has a bit of a musty smell, but as soon as the air conditioner kicked off the smell would go away. We would definitely stay here every time we make our way to Sarasota. Roy was very helpful & was great with communication.

This is the best rental property my wife and I have ever experienced. Peaceful, beautiful, and relaxing. Great place for couples. The check in process was easy and seamless.

This VRBO is an excellent place to stay! Close to the airport. Less than 2 miles from downtown, 6-7 minute drive, for evening dinner, 15-20 minutes to great beaches. Or, enjoy the private pool! We loved it here and really enjoyed our week!

This place is perfect for any couple looking to get away and forget the world. The pool and hot tub are amazing. TV and music options are built in (no need for that Apple TV). The outdoor living area is one of the best ever with couch, chairs, outdoor table, grill and other amenities. Check out the books as well. Roy was an amazing host, not one complaint. He keeps the grounds beautiful and meticulous. Lots of attention to detail. Even arrived to a bottle of bubbly and a personalized note. You will not be disappointed. Location is very central and not too busy. Walk two blocks down to the water and views of Tampa area. 10 stars out of 5 in my book.

We stayed here the first few nights of our honeymoon. It is the most perfect place to stay for you and your spouse/partner. We enjoyed the area around the house but loved relaxing in the pool and hot tub just as much. We will definitely be visiting again soon!

Roy's place is about as perfect getaway as you can get. The lil things fresh flowers, wine, chocolates and oranges for fresh OJ make your stay special. We really enjoy the pool area as we stay out side just about the whole time we are there. The pool, Hot tub and the outdoor shower makes for a fantastic getaway. Catching the sunset at the end of the block was always nice. The Hints/tips for area dining are all very good. Thanks Roy for an Outstanding stay we will return

My teen son and I stayed here for 4 nights. It had everything we needed and more. Beautiful outside area with a wonderful pool and hot tub! Great location close to beaches and great restaurants. Roy was wonderful to rent from! We will be back when we need a break from cold MI! Thanks again Roy for everything!

The property is like a mini-resort! Very relaxing, sunsets down the street! Private pool, hot tub and outdoor shower just awesome! Quiet neighborhood only a short car ride to anything you need or want to do! Roy was an excellent host, very responsive! Highly recommend!

This is such a sweet place , we loved the outdoor oasis , we only used the indoor shower once :) Roy was great to work with and his hospitality is lovely !! Feels like your out of ‘town’ but you are actually really close to everything!

A true romantic oasis with so many thoughtful touches. Roy really thinks of everything and even provided a blender when I inquired. The neighborhood is quaint and an added bonus to this rental. The heated pool and hot tub were the highlight of our trip. Enjoying them both during the day and under the beautiful lights at night was wonderful. The grill made cooking smooth and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we would need. We enjoyed using the cooler, chairs and umbrella on our beach days! This place is the perfect place and we would recommend it to anyone. We hope to return again!

STOP LOOKING - This is the one! We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The private hot tub, pool, and outdoor shower were simply fantastic! The kitchen had everything you need to cook full meals, and the bathroom was well stocked with towels. There were even beach chairs and an umbrella provided. The neighborhood is very quiet despite being close to beaches and downtown. We slept well on the bed with plush mattresses topper. We would absolutely stay again and reccomend this rental (and friendly renter) to friends. It was a perfect oasis for us during the COVID 19 pandemic.
