We stayed here for a family reunion. The home exceeded our expectations. It was clean, the kitchen was well stocked, and the house overall was spacious. I do wish the bunk room had a tv, where the kids stayed, and one of the guest rooms didn’t have one either. However, with such a spectacular view on the water we hardly missed them! Lisa was a wonderful host and accommodated us when our flights were canceled. We would definitely stay here again

The property is very nice. It’s roomy, comfortable and worth the price. And 3 full bathrooms meant no one was ever waiting. Two of the baths even had a bench in the shower for my elderly Mom to sit while she showered. We did have an issue with a faulty faucet getting stuck on in one of the showers. But the rep was responsive, and came out and fixed it herself. I gave one less star on cleanliness because the outside deck had some spider webs, the pots and pans weren’t very clean, and the garbage disposal had a bad smell. All items that the cleaning crew should have taken care of. We also had an issue with the wonky combination lock system for the front door. It requires a code to get in. And it works fine when unlocking. However when locking the door, sometimes the deadbolt would lock and unlock, lock and unlock several times. Then when it stopped, I’d check the door and it would be unlocked. Sometimes we spent 10 minutes or so trying to lock the door. Overall, a lovely house on the water with an incredible outdoor space. I’d rent it again.

The pictures does this property absolutely NO justice. This home was absolutely beautiful. The backyard was amazing and made for great relaxation. This home had all of the living essentials needed during our stay. Everyone slept comfortably and had more than enough space to in the common areas. The neighborhood was nice. We did a lot of driving back and forth to New Orleans which was about a 35 min drive.

The property was located in a dense residential community track. The proximity to adjoining properties is several feet at the most. If you have a large party, street parking may be required as the driveway will only fit two vehicles comfortably due to its incline.
The house was clean and well kept. We had 9 people and there was a comfortable rotation for bathroom usage and enough space from one another that we did not feel claustrophobic.
There were some cosmetic issues with the house upon arrival, the sliding blinds off the living room had a missing slat and the blinds were not fully operable. There was some prior left over food in the refrigerator that would go bad during our stay. The boat (which) seemed to be portrayed to be available for our use was not there and required additional payment to utilize. Not a big drawback but it was not conveyed in the description that way.
Make sure to take a video or images of your stay because you may be accused of damage that you never produced. That was our experience and at least we had video evidence to dissuade that.
Overall it was a 4/5, we were very pleased but we have had more enjoyable experiences as a team. I would have provided 5 stars had we not had the strange experience or accusations of damage we never produced.

Good central point to visit New Orleans and even Mobile, Alabama and Biloxi, Mississippi. Nice to wake up every day to the view of the water.

We had a little stumble getting into the house, but Lisa was very pro-active in responding and resolving the issue. The house is great, but the online pictures are a bit outdated. For instance: 1) There is actually only one table as the the dining room was made into another bedroom, and 2) the outside of the house is now white.

Our extended family (ages 4-75) stayed here this past week! The location was perfect -- 30 minutes east there was a nearly empty, gorgeous, gulf beach to swim at and 30 minutes south and we were in the heart of New Orleans! It was an extremely safe neighborhood and street. The property manager was an amazing communicator and went out of her way to provide us with anything we asked for. We used all of the amenities on the property - kayak, fishing poles, porch swing, outdoor seating, etc. The town of Slidell is cute and quaint. Just the perfect getaway for a family that wants to visit New Orleans without being in the hustle and bustle of things.

The property was exactly like the pictures. It was very spacious, the rooms were large and the bathrooms were nice. The back porch was great to enjoy the Lake. There was a swing that EVERYONE was able to enjoy. We would definitely stay again!

The house was just as we had hoped for with great amount of space and all the amenities you could want. Area was a wonderful location on the waters edge so got to see lots of local birds and it was so quiet and peaceful. Easy to get into New Orleans and great place to come back to to escape all the hustle and bustle.

We absolutely loved staying here! The house is very nice and well kept. It was just a short drive to the expressway when we wanted to go into New Orleans or to see the swamps. Everyone loved sitting on the deck and looking at the beautiful view. The neighborhood seemed quiet and the neighbors were very kind when we saw any of them. One neighbor even brought over some lures to try cause we had a few of us fishing off the deck. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Everyone loved this home for our family trip. The water view in the backyard is the icing on the cake. Only about 30 mins from New Orleans which was close enough to all of the action while taking advantage of the amenities of the country. 10/10.

Girls trip for visiting New Orleans
Staying in this house in Slidell was awesome. House was amazing beautiful and very clean. Nice neighborhood and quiet. Close to everything. Went on a Swamp Tour in Slidell and about a 20 minute drive into New Orleans. We loved this house. Love the open floor plan. Will stay again and recommend it for anyone that's going to be in the Slidell or New Orleans area.

Blissful Retreat
Even better than advertised. Perfect home for family gathering. Loved the outdoor space as well as the spacious inside space. Clean, comfortable beds, linens, well stocked kitchen. Cabinets full of spices, basics, even coffee and paper products. Quality furnishings with nice decor touches. Great location. I’m a long time VRBO guest and would rate this as one of our favs. Host was very responsive and accommodating. It’s true that the south knows how to make you feel welcome and right at home with the little touches. We would rent again. Thanks Lisa!

The first thing I would like to say is that the pictures do not do this house justice. It is a beautiful house especially on the inside. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you would need for cooking. the rooms and bathroom were very spacious and comfortable. With my daughter living in Chalmette, I believe we will be booking again in the future.

Thankgiving celebration
We have family in Metairie and usually celebrate Thanksgiving in the area. Last year we rented Windward and really enjoyed it however, for our needs Sea Breeze was perfect match. We had a great time and hope to repeat the experience next time we go to New Orleans.
I would like to make a comment regarding your description of the house in your portal. The total bathrooms in the house are 3 full baths and half a bath. I was kind of worried when we rented that there were only two full bath. Was very happy when I found the third bathroom.
Also we ran out of gas the last night, we did use the fire place but always turned it off at night and we did not use the stove that much since we ate out most of the time.
I will definitely try to rent this house next time we go.

Great house spacious and updated decor enough room for our 9 guest. Kitchen fully equipped with cookware and place setting. Morning coffee on patio and sunset with favorite beverage. Very clean . Lisa the property manager helpful and informative with restraunts and nearby stores. Loved it.

Relaxing
Home was very inviting. Decorated very nice and very clean. The backyard area was so relaxing. The bedrooms are very well spaced and had plenty of bathrooms to get ready. Plenty of linens and towels for our party of 9. I highly recommend this home, it was a perfect find!

Perfect
The house is everything it says it is and more! It was a 5 bed, 3.5 bath and beautiful throughout. We had 5 adults and 5 kids and were very comfortable. We went just a few weeks after a hurricane came through, so we were nervous not only about the property, but the surrounding area as well. The neighborhood was kept well for after a hurricane and I imagine it’s probably nicer outside of hurricane season. The neighbors were very friendly and our kids played basketball together. The dock was a great place to catch lots of catfish and crabs. We also saw alligator gar which was exciting for the kids. There were plenty of towels, pillows, blankets, kitchen supplies, toiletries, etc. The house also has fishing gear, kayaks, a nice grill, a single swing that hangs from a tree at the dock, an awesome back porch with comfortable seating. We had such a great time! Overall, a great experience and highly recommended!

Perfect Vacation opportunity!
We enjoyed the location, 20 minutes from New Orleans, and close to fun swamp tours. The house was beautiful. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the deck overlooking the lake and had family time watching the sunset and chatting about our daily adventures. Lots of amenities inside the house and fun kayaks and pontoons to rent for water fun outside. The property manager was accessible and answered any questions that we had promptly. We would highly recommend this house, we will be back.

Nice, quiet, well appointed
We enjoyed the home, enough space for a group of nine to gather but also set up so you find some quiet. Kitchen was pretty well stocked, both with utensils and basic supplies. Neighborhood was quiet. Lisa was responsive before and during our visit. All of our party were happy with home and comfortable beds, for some it was first VRBO experience. Good access to interstates and New Orleans.

Best view and stay
We use the house for an Easter vacation in Slidell with family. The place was spotless and the view in the backyard is delightful. We will rent it again for an upcoming weeding. Highly recommended. Our only recommendation is a larger coffe pot!!
