Georg is a great host, very friendly and with lots of useful information and tips. The White House is very spacious and clean with a modern kitchen and bathroom, and a small outside balcony. We had everything we needed, right down to detergent for the washing machine and dishwasher. Boppard is a lovely town with lots of cafes and restaurants, and a roast chicken van that parks at the Rewe supermarket just down the road. Guests receive a visitor card which gives free travel on the trains and buses in the area and also discount on the river cruises.

There is no on-site parking, so unloading and loading the car has to be done on the busy street, but then you can park for free on the top deck of the nearby car park, if there is space. This wasn't a big problem.

Comfortable apartment with balcony overlooking gardens. Air con available. Rooms were spacious. It was well equipped. The host was very helpful.

The steep steps leading up to the property were tiring.

We had a great stay! The location is excellent, less than 10 minutes’ walk from the train station, grocery store, riverfront and restaurants. There is free parking on the upper level of Parkhaus Marienburg (5 min walk). Good central location to visit many cool castles and towns. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of room to spread out. Host Georg was very nice and responsive. Highly recommend!

The location was central to everything. The hosts, Georg and Maria, were so very nice. They were extremely hospitable and we felt like they were old friends. The place was very clean and comfortable. If you’re planning on staying in the Rhine valley this is the place. Our hosts led us to local establishments and gave us the authentic German experience.
