Wintergreen Family Retreat- Each Br With Its Own Sliding Doors To A Deck
Bienvenidos a nuestra casa de montaña en Wintergreen Resort! Nos enamoramos de esta casa por las mismas razones que sabemos que le va a encantar. Hay un montón de espacio para dormir con 4 dormitorios, cada uno con su propia puerta corredera de cristal que se abre a una terraza. Hay tres cubiertas en la casa, por lo mucho que elegir!

We really enjoyed our time at the Wintergreen house! We all loved the open flow design of the den, dining area, and kitchen. Awesome couch set up with fireplace and TV. Comfortable beds. Great location and quiet privacy.

Property was nicely positioned with ample parking. Listing is as described and was lovely on the inside. Much bigger than anticipated. Located right on the Wintergreen Resort grounds with shopping, restaurants, grocery markets and activities to do with the whole family. We normally have stayed in the condos when we visit, but absolutely loved this experience of having the whole house to ourselves.
We received all instructions for pre and post checkout. We will be adding this home to our list of visiting again!!!

Eight of us stayed at the house. We went to the Wine and Garlic Festival in Amherst. Enjoyed the Festival and the house. There was plenty of room for us all and was very relaxing. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Overall a pleasant well equipped home with comfy furniture and the feel of a ski lodge. Very quiet and private. Found the pocket doors on downstairs bathroom area hard to open and close, and noisy - especially for the two octogenarians we had in our group. Loved the heater/fan in the shower area. I rated the “communications with property manager” as 5 stars because it was required to answer but actually given the good directions for check in, condition of the property and instructions provided, there was no need to communicate with the manager/owner.

The house was very comfortable and had wonderful porches off all bedrooms..a beautiful setting!.. the owner was very responsive to any questions and accommodating during our planning as we stayed the weekend for our daughters wedding at a local venue.

My family and I were visiting Shenandoah National Park, Charlottesville and Richmond. This cabin was a great location and was exactly as pictured on the website.
The kitchen was extremely user friendly and an easy area to work for two cooks. Loved the master bedroom separate from the kids area. Had a good time, would book again if in the area.

Home sits in a quiet area not to far from the resort lodge. There is a shuttle service that pics up and drops off a short walk to the stop sign. The home was clean the only downfall o ly one TV which sits in the living room, we were a party of 9 and all different ages. Unfortunately not a lot of snow this weekend for snowboarding but they did what they could. Would definitely rent this house again.

Karen and Matt were great hosts and very responsive to our needs. The house was clean with four sizable bedrooms and a big family room/dining room/kitchen area to accommodate a large family. Beautiful wooded lot, very quiet and ideally located to the Wintergreen lodge, fitness center and pool. We highly recommend Karen and Matt’s house for your next Wintergreen excursion.

We loved staying here. It was wonderful. It had everything you could need from pots and pans to firewood. We loved the proximity to the slopes. It’s a beautiful place!

We had a good stay at this residence. The place was nice and clean, beds are generally comfortable (especially the master), and the location was great. We had one issue but the owner was very responsive and extremely quick to remedy the situation. Of all stays I’ve ever had, these owners were the most accommodating and responsive. Would book again.

This home was clean and easily accessed. Perfect for 5-6 folks depending on couples versus individuals. Sounds simple but the WiFi and tv were easy to manage. No need to use our streaming accounts to simply watch basketball/sports. Our other house was a nightmare because of the cheap owner and very unfriendly host. We won’t be returning to that house for sure. (But that’s another story and a review to be written later). I would definitely recommend this property.

Wonderful property
We had a wonderful stay! The house was clean and fully stocked. The property owner was great and extremely quick with responding to any question that I had, she even sent reminders about purchasing lift tickets since they sell out. We were definitely sad to leave and can’t wait to return.

Another Fantastic Stay!
Another great trip in the books! Our trip to Wintergreen aka Mount Tippy Top, as my kids affectionately call it, was as cozy and comfortable as could be all thanks to KC and the lovely accomadations provided in their mountain home. No snow at the resort this time, but mornings on the patio were lovely, everything was spotless in being clean, and check in/check out was a breeze. The thoughtful Christmas decor was an added bonus :) we are already looking forward to our next stay!

Host was extremely nice and easy to communicate with. The house was great and we had an amazing time! Would definitely recommend this house!
The only thing I’d say is that the skillets are not nonstick anymore, so I wish I would have brought one with me for our omelets! But that was no big deal and otherwise there were plenty of dishes and pans to cook and eat with!

Wonderful owners!
The house is as described on the website and previous reviews: immaculate, with all commodities, in a wonderful wooded setting. Unfortunately we had to cut short our stay because our dog got really sick and we thought he might need emrgency surgery. The owners immeduiaitely refunded us for the nights we didn't stay although they were in absolutely no obligation of doing this!

The house was in a wonderful neighborhood and we couldn’t have asked for a better location. It was so quiet and peaceful and a great balcony for drinking your morning coffee. The house had all the amenities that we could have asked for.
