We had a lovely stay with 2 families here in late August. The house is walking distance to town and in a beautiful perfect location. The house itself is very clean with well appointed bedrooms and decor, games for the family and a downstairs separate area with lots of toys for kids. A great spot for a family vacay!

Absolutely wonderful house. Plenty of room for our family. The kitchen has all the essentials plus! The house was impeccably clean and Doug and Kevin were incredibly responsive to any questions. Easy walk into town and the beaches. We hope to be able stay in the future.

We're a multi-generational group of nine, including three children. Windhaven Cottage is a lovely home, providing very comfortable space for sharing time together (and time alone). Well-equipped kitchen plus games, toys, and more. Nice neighborhood convenient to town and the beach. Considerate, responsive hosts. We look forward to a return visit!

This house is perfect for our family. We have 3 generations staying together for the week and love how we can walk to the beach, into town or cook dinners in a terrific kitchen that has everything you need! The beds are very comfortable too! The kids love playing downstairs with all the toys that are supplied too! We are sad to leave but look forward to next year!

Great experience! Super clean, plenty of space for our 3 generations. Comfy beds, nice decor (with plenty of room for our own “stuff”). Kitchen perfectly equipped. We rented sheets and towels. Communication was great with very clear directions in the binder and posted next to A/C, etc. Cozy wooded setting, in a beautiful neighborhood, easy walk to village!

Had a wonderful week in Ogunquit. Stayed with our adult children ages 27, 25 and 24 and had plenty of bedrooms , seating for dinner and gathering space. House is spotless and well appointed with everything you would need from kitchen utensils to games to beach chairs /wagon .
Location is perfect. Short 10 min walk to beach and restaurants in town. We loved the afternoon walks to dinner where we could choose a different spot each night.
Owners were quick to reply if we had any questions. HIGHLY recommend this home nestled in a quiet neighborhood but close to everything.
We hope to return in the near future.

This property is the nicest rental our family has ever booked. The house is in a safe and quiet neighborhood within easy walking distance to two beautiful beaches as well as the downtown area. It is extremely clean and comfy, beautifully decorated, and well stocked. Our multigenerational family cannot wait to return for a third year!

We had an amazing time in Ogunquit!The house was the perfect size for my adult children and grandkids. It was a hot week and the air conditioning was perfect. Very comfortable mattresses and good sized bedrooms. Plenty of space for 6 adults and 3 young grandkids. A short walk to shops and restaurants. Located in a beautiful neighborhood. Very happy with this house!!

We could not have asked for a better place to spend our July 4th vacation week than at the Windhaven Cottage. It more than lives up to the online description of the property. The cottage is immaculate, beautifully decorated, large enough so that any size family has ample room to spread out. A bonus is the huge family room in the lower level with adjacent bedroom area, laundry and full bath. The owners have thoughtfully provided everything needed in the kitchen to prepare any meal. Walking distance to downtown and the beach are a definite advantages. The owners promptly answered any questions we had. Windhaven Cottage would be an easy choice for our next vacation.

Windhaven has the perfect setup for our three college age/young adult kids to have friends to visit during our stay. There’s plenty of sleeping and hang out space inside, and the back patio is nice for when we want to eat meals outside. Kevin and Doug are fabulous hosts, the house is always clean and well-stocked, and it’s an easy 10 minute walk to town and Ogunquit Beach. One of our favorite features is that it’s so close go town center yet tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. We love Windhaven so much that it’s become the only place we’ll book when our family spends a summer week in Ogunquit!

We had the most incredible time during our stay. Check-in was seamless, the house is so clean and also fully equipped with everything you need, including beach items and kids toys. Amazing location, just a 10 minute walk to the beach. We will definitely be back again. Don’t hesitate to book, you won’t be disappointed.

Windhaven Cottage was perfect for our holiday weekend family visit. Our kids and grandkids shared the four upstairs bedrooms and my husband and I used the basement room, which was quiet and very comfortable. We rented sheets and bath towels as suggested, which worked out beautifully. The basement living room worked well as a 2nd spot for kids to play. Nice selection of toys and beach equipment for guest use. And the location is amazing! In a quiet area with private homes about a 5 minute walk to town. We ordered take out every night and just walked to town to pick it up. It's a little over a mile to Marginal Way where we walked every day. Stunning. Highly recommend and we look forward to booking the same house for a return visit!

This property was super convenient, absolutely beautiful and spacious for our group of 9. It had every amenity that you could think of. Doug and Kevin were so kind and left a gift for us when we checked in! They were always a phone call away if we needed anything (although unnecessary because there was nothing left to be desired) you’d be silly not to stay!

We loved our stay. The house is very beautiful, even better than on the pictures and also perfect for a big group. It is well equipped, although we would have loved to have access to more household cleaning products. We had great communication with the owners and even received a beautiful welcome gift (thank you!!). We would stay there again without any hesitation.

This property was a wonderful option for our four generation family vacation! The location was walkable to many great shops, restaurants and the beach. It was also convenient to drive to many other beautiful areas of Maine! The house itself had plenty of space for all of us to spread out and a good gathering area to spend time together as well. The house was perfectly situated, located on a quiet neighborhood street, easy walking distance to downtown and the beach. We were so happy with our stay, would 100% recommend and stay again. Everything was clean, kitchen was fully equipped, beach gear was all provided so less to pack. Doug and Kevin were great, they were responsive and handled a small issue with the bathroom faucet that was repaired quickly. The only negative comment is that you have to bring your own sheets and towels, otherwise you can rent. We loved our stay and couldn’t have asked for anything more!

We had a group of friends celebrating a birthday and none of us had been to Maine before. This home and the quaint town of Ogunquit was the perfect introduction to what Maine has to offer. We could easily walk to downtown Ogunquit and the beach. The house had plenty of room for us to stretch out with two separate living rooms and a well-stocked kitchen. And, as a bonus, the home was so well decorated. Overall, a great experience and we'd come back if we head to Maine again.

We booked this house for a multi-generational family vacation. It was perfect for our group of 11! We had grandparents, middle aged adults, and kids 4 to 13. Everyone loved the house!
The owners of the house went above and beyond with communication and a sweet welcome gift. There were instructions placed throughout the house with directions and how to's (like how to run the coffee pot). The house had umbrellas, beach equipment, toys, and a perfectly stocked kitchen for cooking in. The house was very clean and beautifully decorated. We loved the large dining room tables and comfy couched and beds. It is also worth noting that you do have to rent linens but it was easy and the owners provide a company for this. The linens were on the front porch when we arrived.
When we booked we were not familiar with Ogunquit, we lucked out big time with this town and house. The cutest shops, restaurants, and beaches. The proximity to town / beach was wonderful.
We had a great family vacation and would highly recommend this property.

The owners had so many recommendations for dining and activities that we enjoyed. In addition, they were easily contacted for any concerns and responded in a timely manner. Close to Ogunquit town. Easy walk. Very comfortable for our group of 5 women. Excellent kitchen and living space for us to enjoy our visit together. Great instruction book. Impeccably clean and well stocked. Renters should be aware of large number of stairs up to the front door which may be a challenge for anyone with an impairment.

We booked Windhaven last summer after just returning from another week long stay in Wells and I am so happy we did! The space was great for 6 adults and 2 toddlers. Every couple and the kids had their own room to sleep in - the 4 full bathrooms were an added bonus! We’ve been coming to Ogunquit since I can remember and I am sure the next time we will consider this house again. It’s only a quick walk to down and the communication with the hosts was great! Thanks for a great trip!

A great place for a group of high school friends to spend time together. The kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed breakfast gathered around the table. What a beautifully decorated home! Every room is exactly as pictured, very clean with all the amenities you could want. Everyone had their own bedroom. Property is in a quiet, cul-de-sac with a private back patio for outdoor relaxation. About 1 1/2 hrs from Boston Logan airport and centrally located between Boston and Portland ME, with all the quaint coastal towns in between. Kevin & Doug are wonderful hosts and communication was easy. Would definitely stay here again, you will absolutely love this home!

Beautiful house in a great location! The house easily accommodated our group of 12 and had every amenity we could ask for (even a stroller, pack and play, and other toddler items). The owners left us beautiful flowers and a welcome gift, which was a very thoughtful touch. We easily walked into town and to the beach. Kevin and Doug have a lovely home. We were a family of 5 adults and 5 kids. The place was perfect amount of space. Enough common room to be together and individual space to spread out. Good kitchen/dining for cooking or take out. Location is great, walking distance to beach and town.

This was our second time staying at Windhaven, and it was as wonderful as the first. The house is clean, spacious, beautifully decorated, and has everything you need for a week in Ogunquit. We are a family of five and there is plenty of space for all of us to have friends visit for a few nights. The finished basement is perfect for the teens and young adults to stay. We also love that Windhaven is tucked into a quiet neighborhood just a 10 minute walk from town. Doug and Kevin are friendly and helpful hosts and clearly want guests to enjoy their home and time in Ogunquit!
